Incarcerated Bob: Is He Still Around?
CommonCents replied to T&C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the old mod from BbMB? You could spend an hour typing that mess on a cell phone? Perhaps you should spend another hour apologizing for tormenting fans of the team you follow. ?? -

TNF in the PNW: Green Bay @ Seattle
CommonCents replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hate McCarthy as much anyone but anyone reading this can easily tell this is a fantasy football fan writing it. Isn’t it just as easy to write up your own take instead of linking a nobodies Twitter? Jones has never had over 15 carries in a game. He has been nicked up since being drafted. By the fourth quarter you could visibly see him struggling to get off the ground after each tackle. Rodgers had an open receiver and bounced the pass on 3rd and 2, M&M should have went for it on 4th. Seattle was steamrolling them and Clark and Daniels were both out hurt. -
When you make it that far in a pool just go with your first instinct. Goodluck.

Bert Breer was on the radio today and made an interesting comment. He was talking about how he covered Farve during his final season. He went on to talk about how during that time he could tell Favre’s internal clock was messed up and he said he saw that from Brady on Sunday. Not holding the ball when he should, not moving as well, going into the fetal position to try and brace for hits. He went into pretty good detail and that’s something that is often overlooked. Everyone waits for their arm to go but pocket awareness is just as important.

Josh Allen starts week 12 but shows no growth....
CommonCents replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s a fair point but don’t forget how many offseason reps Allen missed because of the 3 ring circus McD was running at QB. Even with playing a few games it’s not hard to imagine that Allen has the least amount of reps of any of the 1st round QBs. If they hadn’t butchered the position so bad they would have a little more flexibility. Coach and GM need him to develop, they might not survive another season like this in 19’ -

They already wasted a ton of snaps on McPizzaBoy and Peterman. If Allen is healthy he should be getting all the in game and practice reps. Otherwise this year will be wasted. Let the kid play, maybe the game will slow down for him by year’s end. -
If I had to summarize the Bill’s 2018 season in one word I would use Peterman.

Yeah, that is horrible. I heard something this morning that they won’t use field turf because they want the natural grass for soccer. I’m not sure if the NFL inked a contract for a string of games in Mexico but I don’t see the relationship lasting. They made the right move by taking the game out of there.

Is No. 1 Ranking Legit or a Mirage?
CommonCents replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best secondary in a passing league. That means a lot. If Murphy wasn’t stepping on his own two balls they would easily be the best D. I have a hard time saying best D when you only have one legit pass rusher but they have to be in consideration. -
Super bowl preview November 19th?

The Bosa front has been quiet, was it a Jones fracture? That would suck if so. I like the Chargers, hoping he gets back and makes things interesting come January. -
