  1. Cardale has serious arm talent, that's worth something even when the player hasn't dedicated himself to his career as of yet. If you really want to get me laughing go ahead and tell me Peterman is worth a roster spot heading into camp. Yikes. I get that they wanted to move on from Cardale but I'd have a hard time thinking of two more lame options at 2 and 3 than Yates and Peterman. What was Ryan Mallet sleeping in when they tried to call him? In all seriousness I can't wait until they find a QB I can get excited about heading into camp.
  2. Doug Whaley is fired it's ok to stop defending him now.
  3. I think you had it right in your last post, whatever people agree to do for a price then that is on them as long as they are educated on the risk. It's far more practical than thinking a guy worrying about his bottom line is going to prioritize his employees health and longevity over his own bank account.
  4. Maybe we should make a list of occupations that lessen the quality of life for persons working there for any extensive amount of time. Then we could all take a stand against everything! Rise up!
  5. Finally I'm in the 1 percentile! Line the ladies up! Just make sure you tell them size don't matter!!
  6. Juice is loose!
  7. A lamp about a lamp'er.
  8. Why? I like them this year but just heard that Dixon tore up his knee again so that dampers my expectations a bit. I'd guess Buck Allen takes most of the early season work while Dixon is suspended/rehabbing. Solid D, Vet QB, a few weapons outside and a proven HC.
  9. Same. If Rambo is on the bench that means someone better is on the field and that is a solid floor at the position.
  10. Injuries are common in these freak wideouts, I was just reading Julio had another surgery this offseason is expected to come back as a light participant in camp. Sounded like a bunion on his left foot, I think his Jones fracture was his right foot. Same Doc that did the extensive surgery on his foot and same that did Sammy's I think.
  11. Fair enough and until the Bills straighten things out and start winning regularly they are going to have to overpay for guys like Boldin and even then maybe so. I hope he can contribute here or somewhere else he is one of the more enjoyable players to watch. Still have vivid memories of that he took against the Jets while he was a Cardinal.
  12. Right. Or we can totally irritional and fry the GM over a guy who may never contribute at the NFL level again!
  13. Legs go quick, I agree his attitude would be a welcome addition to the WR meetings but I don't find it far fetched that a big bodied WR can drastically fall apart at that age. Want a perfect example. Reggie Wayne put up 12.2 YPC and 779 yards in 2014. He didn't even finish TC the next season for the Pats if I remember correctly. He is almost 39 now so that would make his 2014 and 2015 timeframes the same age as Boldin. I don't think anyone is going to argue that Reggie avoided contact much more than Boldin and preserved his body. Let's face it this Boldin move is two years too late and he wouldn't be much more than a tutor for the youngsters here.
  14. Just like he did Reggie Bush. I love how posters are flaming the new GM for taking a look at Boldin and not overwhelming a 37? year old receiver with anything more than the veteran minimum. Let's at least see Boldin make another roster this season before everyone hammers Beaner.
  15. Doesn't he fall in love with the hooker and marry her? Isn't that movie about making all women feel good that no matter their current situation Romeo might swoop down and save them? Haven't seen it in years so maybe I'm wrong.
  16. Boldin has very little leverage at his age, I don't care how well he played last year, GM's know that he is about to fall off a steep cliff if he hasn't already. Buffalo is a roster he can make even with minimal contributions on the field.
  17. I don't see him having much of a market, he still makes sense in Buffalo because of what he brings off the field and he can mentor the young guys. I fully expect him to look noticeably slower than last year, he is old for a WR and has a big body. I'm in the camp that thinks he signs here and does so very soon. This is an easy roster for him to make, they need his personality even more than they need him playing 20+ snaps.
  18. Thanks, I missed it oops. Hardy is one of my favorite actors, just got done watching Legend a few days ago.
  19. Ahh that's true, I think Pat Williams was on his own by the time the drought got going. Loved both of those guys.
  20. Good lists. I'd have Ted Washington on there somewhere tho.
  21. Baltimore and Jacksonville overs are my bets this season. Last season was NYG. Hopefully this year is as good. Good luck everyone
