Dunkirk Don or Savior Peterman

It just occurred to me that they are actually two different people. -
I don't think they can come back. Marchand says he took a taste and they are well done.

You hit it into the woods off of the tee and now you just threw the ball in the water. The players want to build their own brands, they want the names on those jersey more than anyone else. -

Gotta love it. You can cost your employer millions of dollars with your actions and some people will still say that it's wrong that you can't get your job back! Awesome. -
Come on Les, you know you wanted to trade away that pick for a veteran on a bloated contract.

Put me in the Lebron won't be stopped just yet camp. Good luck to everyone and their teams.

Kadri is a twerp just like Marchand so I'm not sure karma is the problem. It's the playoffs let him back out there game 2, let 33 have him. Stupid hit by a pretty good player, now he may miss time for teeing off on a guy who probably wouldn't have been in the lineup next game anyways. Riley Nash is due to come back and Donato is waiting in the wings. Won't be long until Marchand does the same thing and screws his team so I'm hoping for no suspension. Drew Doughty got a game for a hit the other night so that's a sign player safety will remain a focus throughout.

Yah it was pretty dirty, instead of let up he went all out for it. I'm glad the hitting is back for the playoffs but that was over the line. Probably two games.

Bruins looked good. Anderson was off his game so that certainly helped, the rest of the Leafs looked flat.

10-1 odds on the cup. No idea how they were behind a handful of teams. Jets game is awesome, I'm pulling for them in the west.

Kinda. In my younger days some drunken jerk was harassing girls at a party that we hosted. His famous line to one of them was "you're to ugly too rape" this is the kind of fool we were dealing with. Asked him to leave the party and he did, we called a cab for him and he waited across the street. The area wasn't great so I went out to check to make sure he got picked up, he was yelling across the street just being a moron. Long story short he called me an idiot for liking the Buffalo Bills so I proceeded to walk across the street and give him an open hand slap that I'm sure his momma felt. I always look back and laugh at that night, the too ugly line just got him ejected but the Bills line got the slap. Forever backwards. Saw the kid about 10 years later at a poker game he still remembered it, I didn't even recognize him it was an awkward moment!

I don't think attracting the talent is the problem. I just don't think you can afford to have the core of your team coming in via FA. As we see year in and year out the most talented FAs break the piggy bank. I do think if the Bills can somehow get a Rosen or Mayfield at 5 or 7 and limit what they spend moving up the FA money could be important next season. I am certain that if they trade up and whiff and waste 3 first round picks in doing so that FA money won't mean a thing. Go out and find another Mario so you can sell tickets that's about all your going to do and Beane and McD would be toast. I'm not bashing Allen or saying they need a certain QB but if they move up to 2 it HAS to be a hit. I find it odd that your saying that amount of picks wouldn't be the future. Sure they have other assets, everyone does. It would definetly change the future for better or worse depending on the kids ability to play.

How's that much different than what Washington did? The only difference would be that they didn't give an additional first in the year they drafted RG3. The picks the Bills accumulated came at a cost of talent, this team is deprived of blue chip players and investing that amount of draft capital into any one player is risky. Goodluck building a team through FA, that money should be used to bolster a young core. If they whiff on this draft that money won't save them.

Let's say we take Mayfield at #7

It's a foolish premise that a GM conducting his first draft has his focus on anything other than his own team. -

Nah. What if the draft goes 1.Allen 2.Rosen 3.Mayfield Beane are we trading up to 4 with the Browns and taking Darnold? I don't know Terry we didn't work him out, can you stop calling me so I can watch his YouTube clip before I call Dorsey!? it's not the most likely scenario but it's just Beane and company doing their jobs.
