Your very true feelings for tomorrow outcome
longtimebillsfan replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe we will win. But by how much, I have no idea. I am hopeful that this is the game we rediscover our offense. Go Bills!!! -
Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?
longtimebillsfan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with your analysis. But the lynch mob that is wanting to fire McDermott or Dorsey after a loss or a lack luster win do not represent the main stream Bills fan. Most Bills fans appreciate what we have and what Beane and McDermott have accomplished. These sad sacks are just miserable and will always find something to get mad at. These are the same people that wanted to fire Daboll two years ago, and now they want him back. Don't let these few whiners color your opinion of the best fan base in the NFL. Go Bills!!! -
I just went to the grocery store. I met two Bills fans. Had a nice conversation.

There are alot of Bills fans relocated in Vegas as well as the many that visit Vegas. Heartbreaking loss today, but not unexpected. Why can't we match up well against Jacksonville?

I live in Las Vegas. Most every time I wear a Bills hat out I get into a conversation with a Bills fan or at least a "Go Bils" The Bills Mafia is a close knit family

Von Miller to 53 & Tre White to IR
longtimebillsfan replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really miss White, but we have the depth to maintain our defense at a top level. Tre: work hard and come back stronger than ever. -
Every time I see a 47 yarder I do think of wide write. Don't mind the poster that are obstinate and want to make you feel foolish. That is their problem.

That is a good point. I believe Sunday's game vs Jacksonville will be a good test to see if Josh can refrain from dropping back into "hero ball" Josh. Jacksonville always gives us a difficult challenge. With the travel to London and the fatigue that goes along with crossing several time zones, Josh could slip back into some less desireable habits. It will be interesting to see if the turnovers go up this week. Go Bills!!!

From one old guy to another, I totally agree. Nothing better than cutting the Dolphins down to size. Every win over the fins is sweet revenge for the 20 in a row. This will be an enjoyable win to savor. Also, we will adjust to the loss of White and move on. Go Bills!!!

McD much better D coordinator than Frazier

The math doesn't lie. Squish and embarass the fish! -
Hypothetically… Brian Daboll gets the boot….
longtimebillsfan replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would love to bring Daboll back, but realistically I can't see McBeane disrespecting Dorsey like that. Imho. -
This was a joke, not to be taken seriously.

Josh needs to learn how to slide. How about that as a topic to obsess over?

Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!
longtimebillsfan replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Vegas is on pacific time all year round. Phoenix is on Pacific time in the summer and Mountain time in the winter. -
Do the Bills need a " Quarterback Whisperer?"
longtimebillsfan replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually, on one such Allen run you could see McDermott pointing to his head and mouthing "use your head". Josh just ignores what the coaches tell him. I believe this is the way Josh will be throughout the remainder of his career. -
Week 1, Bills v. Jets - Predict the Score
longtimebillsfan replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe all the homers on this board are in for a rude awakening. The Jets will be sky high and will shut down our offense and exploit our new middle linebacker with the ground game and throwing into his coverage area. I hope I am wrong, but I fear that the Bills weaknesses will be exposed. Let's hope I am full of crap! -
Maybe he was?

I am right there with you. My fandom began in 1963. -

I Am Not Optimistic Going Into This Season
longtimebillsfan replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am well over 50 and have been a Bills fan since 1963. ( my first memory of watching the Bills with my family) Like all of us, I want that Super Bowl win do much. Since the "13 seconds" debacle it seem like the Bills are moving further away from being a contender. -
Please talk me off the ledge. I could see this season with the Bills going 2-2 in their first four games. The Jets will go into their home opener sky high. We should be able to handle the Raiders and Commanders. The Dolphins game could go either way. At least the game is in OP. I just think that our team is weaker than last year. I could realistically see the Bills missing the playoffs this year. With all the pundants saying the Bills window is closing, I am starting to think that Josh may never get us to the Lombardi trophy.

Yea, I am assuming he would not have made the 53 man roster.
