Do you mean high scoring? Then you're right. No Do you mean a close game? Then they're all exciting. -

As a DB, I would dare Josh to go long repeatedly. He doesn't seem to be able to hit water throwing off a boat when going long. -

At first I was going to say I'm OK with the long ball shot, but the dude has to start at least coming close... until I heard Lofton say there were no under routes. That Pis*** me off. -
Daboll is an excellent play caller

That's all nice, but the point of offense is to score. Some plays work. Too few result in the ultimate prize. Until that happens, it's not a success. -

That said, down 9-7 behind on first downs, rushing yards, passing yards with a chance to take a lead aside from a poor kick. Not an awful half. -
Game Thread 1st Half Bills vs Browns

Problems we'll have to continue to watch that appear unresolvable this year: Josh throwing a receiver open on timing. Throws behind slant patterns regularly. Defense tackling the runner with pads lower. We tackle high WAY too often -
First, this puts us at 9-7. 6-2 with 3 more predicted wins. That said, I think we win the 3 you have here plus wins against Browns & Steelers, so 11-5.

Does the Ravens game get flexed?
familykwi replied to vanhalen26's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Instead of Seahawks/Rams. Very unlikely. -
Every team has flaws. Every team has up and down days. What we need is consistency in execution. We're not there yet, but we haven't lost a game to a bad team this year. We've beat them all, therefore we're not as bad as we used to be. We may not take the next step this year, but at least it won't take as many steps to get there moving forward.

Actually, that makes me sad. Although the Jet's disfunction sets us up for more wins, I'd rather see a fun competitive rivalry, not the ruination of Darnold. I've never seen Chris Johnson. Is that him? Is he selling the team? Nooooooooooooooooooooo! If that's not him, then this is funny. Maybe he can jump on the Giants bandwagon. Doh!

Is there a site that lists how the Bills may rank in this category. I just watched Noah Fant, a TE albeit a fast one, score a 75 yard TD with at least 50 YAC. When was the last time the Bills had such a play? As much as I'm happy that Josh has improved his completion percentage and decision making (not that it is flawless, but better) his next step needs to be throwing receivers open. Brown has had a nice year despite having to jump for balls, being unable to run down deep balls, and breaking stride to end up getting tackled soon after the catch. If Josh could make better timing throws, Brown and I suspect the rest of our receivers would look far more impressive and by extension, our offense.

WGR-550 Dust-up Today: Schopp vs. Capaccio!

So I bit the bullet and listened to the exchange. I enjoyed Sal calling Mike out to pick a side. I think that's good advice in general. I guess a person can complain about everything, but that person will never be satisfied with anything. I suspect if we ever reached the summit, Mike (that's to ease your mind bbb) would talk about some amount of disappointment about not doing certain things during the win, or worry about the road ahead even in the moment of triumph. -

I stand corrected. I guess he has a fan. I disagree about the professionalism which is why I won't listen. As a professional, you do not insult and belittle guests, nor callers. You are welcome to disagree, but it can be done with respect. If he and Bulldog want to joke with each other, so be it, but never someone not a regular part of the show. -

You may appreciate it, but you're not going to get it. I won't listen to one of the personalities mentioned who shall remain nameless, talentless and fan-less. -

I would agree Dabol does not seem to plan well. I think calling for the McKenzie pitch early, then following at the goal line was dumb. I actually did not mind him going back to Gore multiple times and asking his line to actually make a push and finish a drive. Seeing the players unable to push for one yard several times is far more concerning than the play calls. Neither punter kicked into the wind well. Bojorquez has been fair this year. Not flawless, but better than I believed he would play. Run defense was my primary hope today and played poorly in the first half. They need to do a better job of pushing the o-line back, and not just hold to a standstill. They need penetration and linebackers need to fill quicker. This year, we have not lost any game to an inferior team. That has been a problem in the past. If we hold that trend, we should be 9-2 heading into the Thanksgiving game. -

I have to wonder if there will be another release this week. -
What? Wanting Barkley is absurd and pointless. Josh has made two notable errors. Dropping the ball backwards costing us a first and mis-timing Brown near the endzone on the quick slant. Otherwise he's been fine. Missing the deep balls is very difficult in this wind, so those are not to be overly excited about.
