11/16/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Buccaneers 1st Half Game Thread

Do we still have James Cook? I've lost confidence in Brady & Josh being able to convert 4th & short other than tush push and that's at best an above average proposition. Josh has no idea what the Bucs secondary is doing. He's thrown multiple turnover worthy balls today -

Can someone teach Dion that when the rest of the line shifts right, he has to also? MULTIPLE times Josh is left exposed because he sticks on the outside rusher. Or stop ...or stop the shift right -
I don’t feel this is hindsight. The Coleman pick was not adored at the time. Sanders maybe, but Beane has taken MANY early round players that were not clean fits for this team (Epanesa, Ford, Bashum, Oliver, Elam, Coleman, etc) that have provided minimal impact. Some later picks have over performed, but for their draft but they are not making up for the lack of impact in rounds 1 & 2

I don't totally agree. If you ask players to constantly play fast to make the penetration play, you're not encouraging them to break down and play solid fundamentals. The scheme here matters. -

McDermott is a conundrum. He's taken us from doldrums and changed the culture so positively. Obviously, Josh is the major part of that, but McDermott's (& Beane's) contributions cannot be ignored. That said, I feel there is a ceiling to this defense and the ceiling of the players they bring in, especially on defense which is McDermott's side of the ball. I hope they do not waste Josh's career. That man deserve a ring. -

I wondered if I was the only one that was quite bothered by that. -
This isn’t even a thought exercise. We have a realistic chance to experience the pinnacle of why we follow our team, but we’ve not had that pleasure yet. That experience will be priceless, especially in Buffalo where other than NLL, championships are impossible to come by. NO ONE IS STANDING BY TO GIVE MONEY AWAY TO YOU!!! Why even entertain such an idea?

Tyreek Hill chirping about the Bills again

I’d rather be the b**** than sloppy seconds -
The problem is you believe the league cares about parity, or fairness. They do not. The NFL is a business and they only care about profits. 14 teams in the playoffs earns more than 12. Fortunately, 16 earns more than 14. In a TV contract negotiation upcoming, we’ll get a 16 team playoff. We’ll get an 18 game schedule first, so we’re probably 2 negotiations away to the 16 team playoff. Why should the Super Bowl be on a Saturday?

I posted elsewhere that other than Josh & Dawkins, most or the high priced players we’ve extended have underperformed Milano due too injury Von to age & injury, Tre injury The return is not worthy the investments Elam was a bad fit choice. Unless the defense is going to revamp to play to has strengths (something I highly doubt) then he’s should be traded to resurrect his career. Get an asset for him and do better in development
