  1. Maybe KC told the refs they don't want the pressure of the undefeated season, so they can ref this one legit.
  2. agree to disagree. I did not see ball movement when it hit his hands
  3. They were on the line about 20 seconds early when they wanted KC to jump Offside. Instead of trying to push the game clock and force anxiety, they come early and make it obvious they don't want to snap the ball.
  4. I tell you what, I (as well as many of you) know that wasn't worth wasting the TO. Give me the summer to watch challenges across the league to get a handle on what the refs are likely to, or unlikely to overturn and I'll work for a reasonable salary. Asking for a challenge that fails is just incompetence. Unless you are 98% sure (people are people after all) there is no way you request the challenge.
  5. That missed extra point was on Martin. His hand is on the ground at a spot he's supposed to place the ball. After catching the ball, he misses the spot away from himself making the ball is near Bass' heel, not mid foot where he wants to kick it. Since Bass is not sweeping his leg, that will push the ball right. It's the little things that matter.
  6. He should not. He needs to worry about his job at all times. The mental lapses are unacceptable.
  7. I don't think Cook should not play, but I don't think he should get a share larger than Davis
  8. No more kicking PATs No more throwing to Cook Addition by subtraction
  9. One way to mitigate Bass' issues is to stop kicking extra points
  10. I don't see edge defenders lowering a shoulder and containing the edge. I see them being ridden upfield time and time again.
  11. I'm also not convinced J Cook should start any longer. He has more speed than Davis, but his errors are absolutely ridiculous. Time to hold him accountable.
  12. If the Bills are unwilling to take rushing defense seriously, they will not win a playoff game. Every playoff team has a running game which they will exploit against the Bills.
  13. I looked at Brown on the 1st play. Grabbing yes. He still had good color (he was between defender and Allen),so until the defender starts to pull to Brown's left, the grabbing doesn't matter much. At that point the ball was thrown, so the pull was irrelevant. Not to mention the Umpire called it, so unless he's watching the blockers completely across the formation, I'm inclined to say he called Dawkins.
  14. What did Dawkins grab? How was Jones restricted? He danced face to face with Torrence, but made no effort to disengage. These are things we talk about in our referee meetings. I don't understand how an NFL official does not apply the same standards at the highest level.
  15. As a football official, I would love a report from NFL officials explaining their flags after each game. These decisions are inexplicable. Two atrocious holding calls.
  16. Kincaid was down at the 2 the ball was spotted at the two i don’t see what “changed”
  17. I’m an official. You throw the flag, blow the whistle hard and sprint in to stop play that clearly did not happen
  18. That false start play being run is unacceptable officiating
  19. The problem that exists is expectations after 3 weeks went beyond reality This did not look like a complete roster in training camp. After believing Miami mattered we felt great after going 2-0. We dismantled a bad Jaguars team overrated due to their overhyped QB, so felt on top of the world. It's a long way down now as we play real NFL teams. We're still competitive, but his is not likely a year to expect a Lombardi. The problem with McDermott is he's undeniably changed the culture & made Buffalo relevant. He has warts, but he tries to evolve. He'll have a run and then sabotage himself. I cannot put things on coordinators as the HC needs to communicate what he expects clearly. If he's going to "leave it to the coordinators" then thats his call and he is solely accountable. Josh may be great, but he costs this team at least a couple of games annually with sub par play. Not just a failure to carry the team, but just bad play by him. Today was such a day. The comeback was nice and all, but at no point today did I see a QB that was the best player on the field. I think McD & Allen CAN win a SuperBowl together, but I have serious doubts they will. So much has to go right for it all to come together. All it takes is one failure and both are fully capable of such failures.
  20. No Unfortunate, but no, not nearly as devastating as a chance to beat KC in the playoffs. Poor coaching in both for sure, but this pales in comparison
  21. If you figure Josh is going to cost you a game and coaching is going to cost you another game, at least this time they worked together to lose the same game.
