To a man, not one defender kept his legs and attempted to run through Knight. Reach, slide down & let go. I suspect that’s why we’re a poor tackling team. The vulture is good in Buffalo, but year after year they are fundamentally bad

If you’re a domer trying to use this to cry you can’t have your way… GET OVER IT! This game will change nothing. Not everyone likes track meets. Defense matters. Overcoming adversity, including the elements, is part of the challenge -

This D will give us a chance to win today. Dorsey has to be able to coach off script today to generate offense (and the receivers have to catch the ball) -

Problem with running is how fast the Jets second level closes on the ball defensively. Best I’ve seen all season -

A FG that may not have been necessary w/o the missed XP. Oliver balled ALL DAY! Give that man a turkey leg! -
Bass? Bass? Dude almost put us in overtime. Oliver was a monster today and deserved to be fed. End of story

This is a dumb take. Teams are figuring out how much Hyde meant to this defense. To dismiss the injuries is incredibly short sighted. Backups played second half at both DE positions (plus their 3rd DE also out), MLB, and essentially one CB spot. That is A LOT of attrition. I'd like to see our DBs play tighter in coverage, but we are not athletically gifted back there, esp w/Poyer playing with an arm behind his back. This is a defense holding together with duct tape. Any defensive stop is a win, so be thankful we survived. This team hasn't had the ability to develop any continuity this year as it deals with rotating players every single week. Our belief we have the best roster in football has been obliterated with so many players on the shelf, on both sides of the ball. The hope is we keep pressing forward and things come together before the playoffs.

Time to evaluate who on this team is truly dependable on this roster. Diggs, Milano, Miller, Groot and…? Others that we expected to step up (Davis, McKenzie, Oliver, o-linemen, Knox, etc.) have not been consistent contributors. This team is still capable of winning big, but the complementary players need to develop consistency
