  1. I'd feel better about losing for draft position if they were better at drafting.
  2. Some people call that trying to put a square peg into a round hole.
  3. Based on his time in Carolina I don't expect much. Also, we hired the QB Coach who was at the helm during a massive regression by...the QB. I can't wait to see what's next.
  4. You missed a great game. The kids beat a school who hadn't lost a game in about 3 years. I went to bed happy and slept well. How about you?
  5. I probably suck, but I look at friends as people who come in and out of your life at a particular place at a particular time. Sometimes you stay friends for a long time because that thing that brought you together stays constant, sometimes you drift apart and that's ok. It's not that I don't like you anymore it's just that the thing that bonded us in the first place is gone. You have your stuff, I have my stuff. Rather than try to force that relationship to continue it's ok to let it fade and make new connections in your current place and time. Out of all the people I considered friends in grade school or high school I still talk to one on a semi-regular basis. He's a great dude, love him to death, but we've lived 300+ miles apart for almost 30 years now. We've both moved on and grown in ours lives. We touch base every now and again and it's nice to do that and if we lived closer it would be much easier to reestablish that bond but as it is I'm good with it. Out of all my college friends I still talk to 3 and I only see one of them regularly. Not including the one I ended up marrying. I see her every day. The one I see regularly lives near me, the other two don't hence I don't see them often. Friends from former jobs? Yeah, nobody. Grade school/high school people are hard. So many grew up to be so different from what you knew. I have people I used to know who are in prison for some unpleasant things and that's not the person I knew when I was a kid. A bunch of my high school friends are dead. Several didn't make it out of their 20's. One of my college friends died before we got out of college. I also don't do the social media thing anymore which probably makes it more difficult, but to be honest I feel like all of the is totally superficial and not really relationship maintenance. It's LAMPing 99% of the time with the other 1% being heinous crap that makes you question why you liked them in the first place. Deleting all of that was the best move I've made in the last 10 years. You miss the dopamine hits at first, but once that stops, you don't miss it at all and you become glad you're not part of it.
  6. Two things, 1. this Jets game feels like a battle of wills between two teams determined to show who is worse. 2. that field is horrible.
  7. You're coming to my kid's hockey game? Cool, I'll save you a seat.
  8. I'm ok with that. You feel free to ride it all the way down. I've done that enough times.
  9. And there it is. The offense is relatively healthy. McDermott likes to talk about complementary football. Well, when your defense is banged up your offense has to pick up some slack, potentially score more and it's been the exact opposite.
  10. Even then the offense was disjointed and relying on Allen to be ridiculous. They played well against Miami.
  11. Getting fined for taunting in a game where you ultimately got beat down is amusing and probably indicative of the actual problem.
  12. Not crying. Just stating it. I'm out. I might browse here for poops and grins. Whatever. I've watched enough of this sport to know a turd when I see it. If the game was 1:00 on a Sunday I'd probably watch out of habit but this night BS for a crap team against another crap team that will probably beat them? No thanks.
  13. I don't. I also dont plan to watch. I get up too early in the morning to trade sleep to watch the BS they've been rolling out. Didn't watch last week and it made my whole week better. If they show me they aren't hot garbage then MAYBE I'll tune back in. Call me whatever you want, this season is over and I'm too old for this crap.
  14. Excuses are like buttholes. Everyone has one and they all stink. This team was broken BEFORE the injuries. The injuries just made it worse.
  15. Depends. Is he running or not? Without running he's not the same and not nearly as good. There is more than a small chance that you are seeing the beginning of the Cam Newtonesque decline and injuries and wear and tear mount up.
  16. Well will his mid-round drafting prowess, I know I'm excited.
  17. I thought we already had a McKitty
  18. I can't with these idiots.
  19. Dorsey's contract is much more reasonable to get rid of. I'm so glad they drafted a TE. They had no other needs. Keep Knox and find an OC that understands how to use TEs.
  20. It makes no difference
  21. Hope they've got their Rascal scooters fully charged.
  22. If the Bills need a yard to win a Super Bowl I'd give the ball to Fred. I don't care how old he is, you'd have to kill him to stop him.
