  1. They should have a wheel they spin during pregame and choose the anthem that way. We can gamble on it.
  2. "I had a long conversation with Sean McDermott this week and he told me..."
  3. You need the Peacock
  4. I await your explanation for this phenomenon.
  5. Then you explain why the referees, all of them, stopped making an obvious call all at once. Nope. You're seeing it correctly.
  6. It's not a loop hole. You can't be moving towards the LOS at the snap. It's been that way since there has been football in this country. It's illegal motion. If you do move towards the line you have to stop and become set before the snap. What it is, is the league manipulating outcomes in games. Clearly the refs have been told to ignore this, and they are. They will until there is an uproar about it when someone goes full CFL motion in a playoff game and it goes uncalled. At that point they will make some sort of BS statement about how it's been a rule all along, then the following week they'll call the hell out of it to prove their point.
  7. Tell me you couldn't sell the ad time on your garbage streaming service without telling me you couldn't sell the ad time on your garbage streaming service.
  8. This is another example of something they USED to call but as OCs have figured out that theyve stopped calling it they've used it more. This isn't the CFL, that is a penalty. They are clearly consciously ignoring it because it's an easy call and it right out in the open with everyone looking at it. Add it to the OT in the backfield on every snap that they ignore. Yep. Miami does it too. All the time.
  9. And to scare away the riff-raff lowballers out there.
  10. Since none of the Cowboys breathed on him all night that seems unlikely.
  11. That is the true Comcast experience.
  12. Check your bill. They ended free Peacock awhile ago now.
  13. Everybody had at least one. You had to. Steve Atwater, Dennis Smith, Ronnie Lott, Gary Fencik, etc.
  14. Speaking of Leonard Smith in another thread. This used to be legal and encouraged.
  15. If Leonard Smith played today he'd be public enemy #1. He's not the only one of that era (Check Cecil comes to mind), it's just that the position and what is allowed has changed. The hit on Shakir was flagged and was very much just good defense in Leonard's day.
  16. It was already 24-7 in the 4th quarter when Cook scored his 2nd TD against a light box. In the first half the DC can make that choice. By that time, with that score, they needed to stop the Bills from running the ball, grinding the clock, and killing the game. They just let it happen. If the shoe were on the other foot we'd be irate.
  17. Cook is what this team has needed and they needed an OC who was willing to use him. Hand him the ball, throw him the ball, just give him the ball. Make the defense focus on stopping him then magically all the other stuff we've wanted to do becomes available again. Plus with Cook killing you the TE becomes a relevant player again and there is a reason to have them on the field other than as a big slot. It all WORKS when you have a legitimate RB and the will to use them. That's what Dorsey didn't understand.
