  1. Gimmie Spero Dedes and Solomon Wilcots. They were ours when we were crap, they can be ours now.
  2. Good, we should be finished stomping a mud hole into Indy around the time I need to leave the house to take my son to his hockey game in NoVa. Perfect.
  3. They pick at 3. Do you trade Tua and try again?
  4. He's handsy, that is a double edged sword. You can do worse as a third or fourth corner and I think it depends on the matchup. Tyreek Hill? No thank you. Chase Claypool or JuJu? Some physical play will be helpful.
  5. I like that we have two guys that want to finish runs. Williams seems to have a little more lead in his britches than Moss.
  6. It also shows they learned something from early in the season when they ran up big leads and tried to sit on the ball and let people back into the game. F that. Keep scoring.
  7. Miami wanted to call timeouts with 8 minutes left. They still wanted to play. Well. Ok then. Let's play.
  8. There are a couple schools of thought about how to call this game too. Thought one would be to be as vanilla as possible and try not to show anything that isn't already on tape. The other thought is to show as much as possible to give the opposition more to prepare for. Just last week the Bills called at least two specific plays to break tendencies and show another look out of a particular formation. The formation I'm think of is McKenzie behind Allen. We threw a swing pass to the left McKenzie out of that and then also snuck Lee Smith out the back door to the right out of that formation. Neither of those things are accidental and IMO they are both designed to set up something we will see in the playoffs. Something exploiting the middle of the field since they stretched the D to both sides in what they've shown and both plays put pressure on the LBs to get outside quickly. They could and should be showing things on tape this week to set up stuff for the playoffs.
  9. They don't get paid for practice, they get paid for games. The league wants to move to 17 games, this seems reasonable.
  10. The director did the first WW movie which was fine so IDK.
  11. Tried to watch Wonder Woman 84 tonight and I made it about 35 minutes in. One of the single worst movies I've ever tried to watch. Plot is ridiculous, dialogue is awful, and it's cheesy. If this got a full theatre release instead of being buried on Hbo max it would be getting slaughtered IMO.
  12. Roethlisberger's knee is terrible, Connor isn't healthy either. A week off is exactly what they need right now. I hear what you are saying about momentum and all that but they need the rest more than anything.
  13. 11/18/07 New England 56 Buffalo 10. Never forget. Sweep the leg. #WelcomeToTheNewNormal
  14. I wanna see what happens with Fields when he's in a bad situation that he can't walk away from. Decommited from Penn State, transferred out of Georgia when he didn't win the job, now he's going to be stuck on a bad team or sitting behind a veteran.
  15. My argument is that in many cases sentencing guidelines have been revised upwards in the last 30 years with very little to show for it other than exponential expenditure in corrections. It's incredibly expensive to incarcerate people and anything you can do to keep as many lower level offenders out of prison is beneficial for everyone involved. There is more to it than that but that is the gist.
  16. I'm aware of that. You don't think the union the correctional officers are part of does the same thing? So what then, life sentences or death penalty for everyone?
  17. The next time someone talks about the multiple motives behind incarcerating people remember this thread. Not everyone who goes to prison is a murdering psychopath. There are large, for profit, corporations that will be more than happy to run prisons for you. Those companies unabashedly lobby for longer sentencing guidelines because they are good for business.
  18. They do see it. They just choose to ignore it. Allen had his ankle destroyed and Smith got hurt as well otherwise Haskins never sees the field this year. Rivera made his opinion of the player pretty clear early on. They will be in the QB market again this off season and would have been even before the strip club BS.
  19. The Jets and Bears say hello. The Jaguars wanted to answer but they can't decide which terrible QB they want to raise his hand.
  20. They need to lose out to be in jeopardy iirc and they play Houston week 17
  21. Perfect way to start 2021. Putting the universe back into balance.
  22. They are big Browns fans for the next two weeks in most scenarios which is....awkward
  23. There is more to it than that, does Buffalo beat New England? What do Cleveland and Pittsburgh do? What does Tennessee do? This is what I'm saying. There are so many moving pieces that it's hard to pin down the specific results you want when one thing changes it changes a bunch of other things. This will be a futile exercise until Tuesday.
