Which is fine except Kansas City ran all over them and beat them handily, twice. Tennessee ran all over them and beat them handily. New England ran on them the first game and was a very unfortunate play away from beating them. Indianapolis ran all over them in the second half and nearly came back on them. The Baltimore he was two very unusual missed field goals and a historic interception away from being a different game as the offense only had 220 yards in the whole game. It's a really dangerous way to live, particularly when you play against competent defensive teams that ARE capable of slowing your offense down. They don't even need to shut you down, just slowing you down can be enough. They didn't fix it, and I don't think they can fix it this year which is why I said the solution is better offense. However, I'm not sure they did that either and their offensive flaws look to be the same. Maybe I'm wrong and the line is better and they will be able to run and protect a little better. Maybe the addition of Sanders will make a difference. Maybe I'm wrong about the defense and they won't be Charmin soft this year.

Though it is going to give me heartburn I think the solution to our defense issue is just going to have to be to score more points against the better teams. Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New England and Tennessee at a minimum are going to want to run the ball on us. A lot. Need to hold them to the occasional field goal and get 35+ on the board. Win the game 35-31. We aren't going to be holding many people below 24 I don't think.

And yet I live in the 5th largest city in the country and haven't had a good wing in the 25 years I've lived here.

I know, I saw, it's just very strange for him to be on the field at the end of the game like that. You'd have to think he will make the team but they are the Jets after all. -

TE Kenny Yeboah had a nice day for the Jets and if they are silly enough to cut him the Bills might want to look. One of his TDs was on a Hail Mary at the end of the game where he outmuscled some people for the ball but his other one was on a very nicely run route where he showed some good deception and speed. https://www.newyorkjets.com/video/highlight-james-morgan-to-kenny-yeboah-for-a-21-yard-touchdown -
If we have to choose: McDermott or Daboll?
That's No Moon replied to Westside Madness's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Daboll hasn't sold me tbh. The offense wasn't great v. Indy and was not good v. Baltimore or KC and it was bad the second half against Houston as well. That's when it matters. All the regular season stuff is necessary and nice, but whaddya got when it's only good teams left? -

My winning strategy for years has been to NEVER draft Bills. I never draft Bills or bet on their games. It's too hard to be objective. It's like mixing church and state, you just can't. This goes doubly if you know other players are Bills fans, they will overdraft players. Let them, and take the players that fall to you as a result. -

Knowing who is vaxxed and who isn't is potentially a huge advantage, sharps in DFS are going to kill the general public this year. -

Not when you can lose 2 or 3 at a time over personal beliefs -
And you wouldn't be cutting him, you'd likely be trading him. Trade him to Jacksonville, he will be a cult hero.

According to him, which means the league monitor was standing right there within those "5 steps" to see him which means Cole saw them also. You know you're breaking a rule and you see an unknown person at the entrance to your facility what do you do, you immediately comply so as not to get in trouble, and you now know the person is on site so of course you stay compliant that day. None of us know about all the other days.
-
So we will see what the team wants to do, are they going to be the ones to crack down and impose that fine or are they going to make the league be the bad guys? Or are they going to casually drop a dime to the league office to send a monitor back?

He's got tons of control over who is on the team or not. There are other slot receivers in the world. Over ANY other issue if there were a player flying in the face of the organization like this they'd have been gone a long time ago. Either that or the process is bull####.

Well, the next time Beasely doesn't wear a mask, which I will go ahead and guess will be the next time he's in the facility, he can be suspended so we will see what tack the team wants to take.

If they allow 461 passing yards to Ol' Rapey Noodlearm I'm not going to be pleased. -
He had 5 fumbles (from what I can tell, they lost 2 of them) last year but has only had 6 drops on 93 career targets. Dawson Knox, for example, has 14 drops on 94 targets. His return numbers aren't great but it can be hard to tell whether that's a function of the team he's playing on or him. He can play at receiver though and has had some production at that position and he has a similar skill set to McKenzie so if McKenzie did have to miss a significant amount of time he's a guy they could plug into that role. TBH, two of the returns we are oohing and aahing over from last week are probably stopped for minimal gain with the regular ST units in the game, it's unusual to be able to cross the field on a return that way and get away with it and Bills returners did it twice once on McKenzie's long return and then again on Stevenson's TD.
