  1. The Police did what they had to do. All I can say is, that's Miami for ya. Miami is LA of the east, just basically another cesspool of humanity with no direction, at it's finest.
  2. That stevestojan is too damn funny. Thanks for posting that!!
  3. I would say that I'm #3 with a splash of #1. I'm definitely optimistic about the Bills chances every week and every year but in reality, I know that stevestojan happens and you can't win every game, make every correct decision or play at the top level every week. I do look at a win or a loss and understand that most of the time, 3 to 5 plays would have made a difference one way or another. That's how football is and sometimes the planets align and you win, ala New England and sometimes Murphy's Law takes affect, ala Buffalo.
  4. I agree completely with everything you said here Dan. This coaching staff Adapts to the situation more than probably any coaching staff in Bills history that I can recall. Even the days with Marv had their game plans that they stuck with even though they didn't work. MM and staff adapt from the 1st play of the game. The biggest difference is the 2nd half play of the defense in any game. The D has pretty much shut everyone down in the 2nd half. That's adaptability. With all that said, I don't think it's fair to compare MM to GW as to who is doing a better job as a rookie. MM is taking over a team loaded with talent while GW took over a team loaded with nothing except headaches. I have to give GW credit for what he did with the hand he was dealt. I don't think all the problems of the past 3 years should be laid directly at the feet of GW but ultimately it is the head coach who does accept the blame.
  5. All I can say is that the world is a safer place now that the Terrorist is dead!!
  6. LMAO Good one. I think he was in there since JR was hurt and they like his speed. It's possible they were trying to get a better matchup that they thought Freddie would give them, who knows.
  7. FFS and Simon, you're both always a good read. Thanks for showing differing opinions on this matter. It obviously can be looked at from two different sides and the truth of the matter is, Bledsoe is here now and at the time of the deal, the options were limited. AVP was going into the season as the starter on a team that was mediocre at best. The move, both good and bad, put asses in the seats for the season and gave the Bills hope for the next season since the salary cap stranglehold that was on the Bills was finally being lifted. Who knew that Killdrive would incapicitate Bledsoe and DB would become the statue that he did. This one move can be viewed in so many ways but when you look at the big picture at that point in time, it was one that had to be done for both the team on the field and to put asses in the stands! Obviously, the drafting of JP and the deal to get him shows that even TD probably knew that DB was not the long term answer to the QB problem here but a nice stop gap for the team and financially for the organization. Just my opinion but thanks again for the good read FFS and Simon.
  8. My last year as a season ticket holder was '95 and up to that point, that stadium was always loud. You could see that the players fed off of the energy that the crowd displayed and Buffalo was never out of a game at home regardless. Through the years, watching them on TV and getting back for at least one game a year, the crowd seems to have lost a little of its spunk. Maybe it's the product, maybe it's something else. Last year's NE game was one of the loudest games that I've been to there but unfortunately, this year's JAX game was humdrum. Maybe now that we're winning, the rowdies will be back out in full force, energizing the crowd to what it once was: The Loudest, Craziest venue in the NFL. I will be there January 2nd for what hopes to be the biggest game in years for this team. Keep packing the house people!!! The team needs you.
  9. Okay Cutie, how's that? I honestly don't resort to name calling since it's immature and senseless, especially on here. I don't mind people giving their opinions and standing behind them but when someone disagress, it's totally unnecessary for name calling. Except for Rudy of course, lol. He is an idiot but I think he just does that to incite a response, lol.
  10. Right now I would have to say probably 7-9 but things really could change after Sunday night. IF the Bills were to win, possibly win handily, it's quite possible that they could run the table. We have seen in recent years, NE and PHILLY last year, that a team can get into a groove as the season progresses and just carry that momentum week to week. If that's the case here, I believe that 10-6 isn't out of reach for this team. I guess we might know about the momentum thing around midnight Sunday.
  11. Thanks Rockpile and Darin. I was wondering why he jumped all over me. Like I said ealier, I only disagree with ICE on his TD stance. I haven't called anyone names on here except Rudy and everyone knows he deserves it. Thanks guys
  12. Bettman and his cronies are what have helped put one of the NHL's legs in the grave. It's just a matter of time, as long as they are running the show, till the NHL is a sport only in Mid-American cities, similar to Arena Football or Indoor Lacrosse. They have destroyed the game to a point where it might never come back to what it was.
  13. Still uncalled for ICE but I guess you learned a few new words on the word of the day calendar that you have to use so feel free. Back to the topic, did any of the other parents in the stands say anything to this guy or do you know if they have said anything to the school board about allowing this racist to attend any more games? I still feel that he should be banned from attending all school activities because of these comments that he made.
  14. What in the #$%^& did I say to offend you ICE? Sure I disagree with your stance on TD but that has nothing to do with this topic. I agreed wholeheartedly with you on this and you call me a dildo because of it. Totally uncalled for!! If you were talking about my crack to stevestojan about his "kill whitey" comment, I thought he got it from a movie because I heard it before somewhere and I can't place what movie I've heard it it. Geesh, lighten up Francis!!
  15. Go Boise State!!!!! Yeah I know, no chance in hell but they are one fun team to watch. Did anyone catch their thrashing of Hawaii a couple weeks ago? They might not be able to compete head to head with the USC's, OU's or Auburn's but I would love to see them play a team like Texas, Michigan or even Commie Cal. They would have to play at home though because that Blue turf drives everyone nuts, lol.
  16. stevestojan, you are too funny. What movie is the "Kill Whitey" quote from? I've seen it but just can't picture it.
  17. Those 50 seat jets are fine, even the ones that are a little smaller are fine too. They are just like flying in a regular jet basically, just scaled down. I've flown them a few times now and they are more comfortable than the regular 737's and such. If my memory serves me right, all the seats are leather and there is a lot more leg room, basically like flying first class. When booking your flights though, always check on the aircraft scheduled because you really don't want one of the prop jobs, lol. I flew one from JFK to Logan during a friggin snow storm and needed to buy new underwear when we landed. Scared the crapola outta me even before we landed then lost all bodily functions when we "landed" (skidded) down the runway. Scariest flight ever, lol.
  18. Just a hunch here but my guess would be that his presence on the field is considered incorporating enough. If Evans is able to run to Go route several times, thus clearing the DB and FS, that opens the underneath (high percentage) ball to Moulds, etc. Plus the fact that the Bills have rarely thrown the ball of late is another indication that the braintrust is thinking, run the ball and don't let Drew lose this for us. Just my opinion but it seems to make sense.
  19. No kidding, and there seems to be more and more of them every time you turn around!!
  20. Though a good thought, I would have to think that the game plan that the Bills just used against the Jets would be one to use against the Pats. Run the ball, stop the run, play a little more 2 deep in the secondary and eat the clock. Take the crowd out of the game early by controlling the ball and don't give up big plays on thrid down. Sounds tough against a good NE team but they are a team that can be run on. Shove it down their throats and make BB choke on it.
  21. And "they" say we (white folk) are racist? This is what gets my shorts in a bunch. Lets just say the situation in the stands was turned around and you (white guy) were yelling about the quarterback being black, saying get the dumb black qb out of there, there aren't any smart black qb's in any league anywhere....... and so on. You probably would have had EVERY member of the ACLU on your doorstep that night. There's a double standard here and it's disgusting. A parent like that should be banned from attending any games, or at least unable to watch the games from the stands where other parents and family are trying to enjoy seeing their son or daughter play a sport. This is totally disgusting and should be addressed by the other parents, coaches and faculty of the school. I feel sorry for that poor kid having to grow up with someone like that pretending to be a role model for him. This is going to sound racist but I swear it isn't but no wonder why there are so many young black men and women in this country struggling. They are being taught by their elders that whitey is no good while all the white kids are being taught that black kids are the same. Some things just don't add up but "they" will always say that it's the white people fault, not the blacks. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: racists and reversed racists
  22. Is it my imagination or has Ice's credibility around here dwindled to dust? If I recall, there were a lot of ESPNers clammoring for the Bills to take Kelsay with their 1st pick in that draft and they passed on him for some injured kid named McGahee. They ended up with Kelsay in the 2nd round anyway and everyone from ESPN seemed rather shocked that he was still available. With that being said, TD was able to pick 2 potential 1st round picks. IMHO, I would think that is pretty damn good considering how thin the 2003 draft really was. It's nice to know ahead of time that you have quality DE's on your team when looking at the 2005 draft. They are hard to come by and the Bills have 3 pretty good ones. I would like to see other teams in the league say that.
  23. Pictures??????? LOL, just kidding. Basically, that's what I was trying to say, if they are done right without being ridiculous, then I think they're fine. Pictures would prove my point though, lol.
  24. I'm not a fan of implants myself though sometimes they are nice to look at. If they are done to someone that could use a little form changing, say, "two raisins on a breadboard", then sure, it's not a bad thing unless she goes from an A to a DD. I know someone who just had them done and she looks ridiculous. She went from a B to a DD and they look like someone shot two missles through her back. Boobs are a wonderful thing though, they are meant to be loved!!
  25. I used to moan a few years ago when the Bills had to kick off, lol. Amazing what a pretty decent special teams coach can do to a team. ICE, I used to think you actually had some fair and balanced posts but the last few weeks, they're just impossible to read. I can't believe anyone can actually be as negative as you. Cheer up and look at the bright side, you're not a Dolphins fan, or are you??
