  1. Nice bro. Us Bills fans are sprinkled here in NYC with the majority being Jets and Giants fans. But i wear my Bills license plates proud when i drive. The only mistake I'll never make again is driving to Jets Stadium. I almost got arrested cuz the fans drove me crazy (details not included).
  2. Yeah why not? I can play special teams. The best part is, i would only require $50,000 for a 1 year contract. The incentives include a free apartment to live in and i get to eat at the facility for free (breakfast, lunch AND dinner). My signing bonus can be free Duffs Wings for a year and my whole contract will be void if i get injured. I'll give them back the Duffs wings card, I'll move out and I'll even vomit whatever food i ate that day just to let them know I'm a man of my word. I'm a low risk, low to a little above low reward kind of signing.
  3. I wish i could try out for the Bills. I mean I'm not super quick but i can beat my roommate in a race and i used to be super quick. But i don't like to get hit so i don't wanna be a running back or wide receiver. Plus I'll get flagged for unsportmanlike conduct after eachplay cuz I'll be cursing at everyone in the pile to get off me and then maybe try to poke their eyes out. I'm only 5'8 with small/medium hands and can never fully grip an NFL football so QB is out the question plus i love Tyrod so we're good there. Too small for OL/DL and LB. Maybe i can be a safety? I DO have a muscular body and can hit people. Ok it's settled. I'm starting training tomorrow just in case the Bills start looking to pick people up off the streets with all the injuries.
  4. Well growing up fighting alot, you win some and you lose some. From the few losses i had i can say, it does humble you believe it or not. Sometimes you gotta get punched in the face to not grow up arrogant.
  5. I blame Belichick for this. That man is the devil. He did some voodoo or something. Too many of our guys going down with non contact injuries. It's like final destination. I wonder who's next?
  6. I'm driving from queens ny for the Thursday night game.
  7. No not at all. Who else they keep will be determined in training camp and preseason. What i was saying is that with those guys being the #1 #2 and #3 backs, I feel better with those guys instead of the #1 #2 and #3 right now. Basically i would be more excited to have Reggie Bush touch the ball on a 3rd and 4 situation instead of Herron or the rookie we drafted. Also, it's too early to tell. I never thought Karlos Williams would be as good as he was so maybe the rookie we drafted will be amazing. Who knows. I'm just giving my opinion on our current situation is all. Reggie to me is better than Herron and an unproven rookie right now. Yes you're right, if he stays healthy like i said, it's a good signing.
  8. I like the signing. I mean. To me he's just as explosive as Spiller and a bit more patient and waits for blocks and doesn't get as winded. Spiller would make a big play and then you see him huffin and puffin on the sidelines. If he can stay healthy then i have no problems with our 3 running backs being McCoy, Karlos Williams (depends on how that issue turns out) and Bush instead of the current RB situation honestly.
  9. Well i haven't been keeping up with any Bills news except the draft and even that i haven't done any research on the guys we drafted like I've done in the past. This year is the 1st in about 15 years that i just took it easy and i gotta say, it feels good. But on a flipside (don't know if it actually is a flipside cuz it would insinuate that what i previously said was negative but) i purchased my tickets to the Thursday night game against the Jets so I'm very excited for that.
  10. How is this topic still trending? I don't stop by twobillsdrive too often but every once in a while when i DO decide to check if there's any news to read about, i keep seeing this topic in the main page. Why do you care about Fitz news so much?
  11. So there's a character on the show named Ricky played by an actor whose name is John David Washington and he plays as a WR for the Dolphins. The Dolphins don't wanna renew his contract so he's talking with his agents about which team to play for. His buddy is also in the room going team by team and tries to sell him on the idea of going to the Broncos cuz weed is legal and he responds, "I don't smoke, PASS". They also talked about San Diego, pitched the idea of nice weather and that Philip Rivers can get him the ball and Ricky Responded saying he has issues with s girl he was dating and she lives in SD so PASS he says. Then they bring up the Bills. His buddy was trying to tell him it's freezing cold there, that how we're 0 for 4 in Super Bowls and basically didn't like Buffalo and I honestly thought they were going to humiliate us further but then it took a pleasant turn. Ricky's agent pushed the idea that we are in a playoff drought and that if he brought a championship here that he'd be like a god to the city. He also said Rex is a player's coach and then Ricky said something like, yeah Tyrod is gonna be good. Then he said put it on the list of maybes. His friend was upset and said bro the weed is legal in Denver and Ricky said bro i don't smoke. PASS. Then they showed him New England and as soon as Ricky saw Bellichick with the hoody, he had a upset face and said nah, too strict of a coaching staff, PASS or something to that nature. It was just funny the way it all was said. Sorry i don't know how to post links snd honestly don't know if I'd be dealing with copyrights or whatever by showing it if i even knew how yo post it but, if you guys can somehow watch Ballers Season 2 Episode 2, you can see for yourself. Just thought I'd share this.
  12. I saw the show and didn't even know he was with the Bills. They said he was a member of the Eagles. This can mean 2 or 3 things. 1. Shows how much of a Bills fan i REALLY am 2. Shows how much I pay attention to who our long snapper is. 3. One and Two.
  13. All he has to do is stay healthy and BAM! He's already an upgrade over Goodwin.
  14. I look at it like this and this is the simple version or, simplifying the draft. Do we go into a draft expecting players from round 4 to 7 to be day 1 starters? Answer is no. So I look at the 1st three picks. The question I ask myself is, before the draft was on it's way compared to after the draft was over, did we upgrade the team with the 1st three picks? I believe we did. Could we have used some help on the right side of the Oline? Sure. But we didn't and that's what it is. We had a very successful draft if we look at our first three picks and like Whaley or "Whales" as rex seems to like calling him now said, guys might be getting cut in the next couple of weeks. So hopefully a decent RG will be in the market soon but getting back to the draft, I expect our 1st two picks to TREMENDOUSLY help us on defense and the 3rd pick is not too shabby either.
  15. Wait. Did you just say there was "Watkins type talent" sitting right there at our pick at 19? WHO? No for real. I mean honestly. Who the hell are you talking about and why didn't I get the damn memo?
  16. Even if this WERE to be the case, we would have "the same level of talent" team as you kind of said, but at a much cheaper price which is a great thing to have. I'm no college football expert but after watching highlights and reading a couple of articles, I'm very pleased with the draft. The QB pick could have been used on OLine but I don't think anyone was worth being picked on their board but other than the QB pick, I love picks 1,2,3 and 5.
  17. Well now we have Ed Reed coaching the defensive backs. If we can miraculously get Muhammad Wilkerson, that's one Jet player I wouldn't mind having on the roster. We have a much better QB than Mark Sanchez, so if we can draft well again this year, I don't see why we can't have a great football team. Also, Sammy has been taking the leadership role very serious and so is Tyrod. We finally have some leaders on offense and don't have to rely on Freddy to keep guys in check anymore. We just need Dareus to become a leader on defense and I think we'll be alright. Rex made it to two AFC championship games with Mark Sanchez at QB let's not forget. At the end of the day, Rex is our coach for at least next year. Either u can root for him to succeed, or just stop watching. There's no middle ground.
  18. Not saying that doctors aren't good at curing mental sickness but speaking as a person who went through manic depression 20 years ago, no doctor benefited me more than God did. Not here to preach religion, so from a psychological perspective, no doctor can help anyone who doesn't want to help themselves. As in the case of the man who died in prison, I'm sure wanting to help yourself is a pretty tough thing to do when you're surrounded by a very tough environment.
  19. So since you guys talked about Jackson so highly, does this mean you guys guarantee the Browns make tge playoffs next year? Come on just guarantee it. It's only words.
  20. Well, analogy wise, it's not the trees fault if the weather and soil is bad. The defense not being up to the Ryan standards coukd have been one of many things. Me personally, I think Dennis Thurman is one of the problems because ever since Dennis has been with Rex, they suck. Secondly, players not buying in can be another factor and Thirdly the personell wasn't fit for his scheme. I mean the third fact was obvious since we saw such a huge drop in performance in more than a handful of players on D. Mario doesn't fit/didn't try hard so I'm willing to part ways. Dareus looked good Kyle Williams looked good And Hughes is still a beast I say put Manny Lawson in Marios spot and boom, cold front back together. Bradham looked awful Preston Brown can't handle the MLB role So we clearly need 2 linebackers that can fit this scheme. Aaron Williams looked good but needs help from another stud safety. We're good on cornerbacks but depth would be nice so I think we would need 2 starters at LB, one at safety and the rest of the needs would be depth and maybe next year the D will look presentable. Oh and fire Dennis somehow but I doubt that will happen.
  21. Ok cool thanks for the info. I can go back to not looking forward for the Bills D to get any better again.
  22. Why is everyone so upset at the hire? I'm asking legitimately. All I hear is complaints about the hire but no one is breaking down stats on why hiring him is a bad thing.
  23. I'm with you on that one. Linebacker is a must. But having Wilkerson is a no brainer imo. But like I said, I agree that we need a linebacker. It's a very weird year since the defense regressed. We need to add personnel that fits Rex's scheme so the draft and free agency is going to be defense heavy.
