And they would be if any of them knew what this front office/scouting dept knows about evaluating a college QB prospect. It was a great day considering that most fans here wanted the GM to trade away all the picks to get to the #2 spot for Josh Rosen. Now that they moved up a bit to go after the QB they coveted all along fans are complaining they gave up both second-round picks when they wanted them to have given up two 1sts. two 2nds, two 3rds for a guy they passed on.

Good for them. Glad he went to a team where he can sit and learn...and in a different division.

I get a kick out of fans saying that the Bills overpaid for a top-five pick at QB that dropped a bit when most every Bills fan here wanted the Bills to trade away the farm to get Josh Rosen at the #2 spot. Some fans were saying they should give up three firsts to move up to the #2. The draft isn't over and neither is the walk on process so I expect the Bills to turn over every stone out there for some quality offensive players to help protect their QB's. Besides, the Bills could still trade up into the second, third rounds to get some quality talent.

When you take a long hard look back at this year's draft class in a few years you will see that Rosen was far too fragile, Darnold with 22 turnovers in 13 games, Mayfield I liked a lot but he reminds me so much of Johnny football. Bills fans will be wondering how every other team missed on seeing on what Josh Allen brings. Think Arron Rodgers, Ben Rothlisberger type talent but so much will depend on what this FO surrounds this kid with in terms of talent. This team needs quality talent in terms of an offensive center, offensive tackle, and a left guard. It will be good to sit Allen for a season to build that offense.

When all the dust settles on this draft Bills fans will be reversing all this negative talk and gloating about how Beane screwed the rest of the NFL out of the best QB and ILBer in the draft. Trust the process and yet very few are...

Love the pick! The Bills just got a big, tough, blue-collar kid who played at Wyoming (think snow) and he was a winner with a bunch of nobodies around him.

Most fans just don't get how fragile Rosen was in college and he will be again in the NFL. Glass QBs don't make it.

Most Bills fans here will be bleating like stuck sheep once the Bills don't move up to the #2 spot for an overhyped QB. I believe they are waiting to see how things develop once the Jests make their pick at the #3 spot. Both Darnold and Mayfield should both be gone by this time and the bills will need to see what Denver will do with their pick. I also think that both Rosen and Allen will fall past the #5 spot and if Beane really wants either of those two he should make a move now to beat Arizona, Miami or other teams wanting to move on a QB.
