  1. The bleating on the Pats fan site is biblical... and i quote! "The worst ever win in franchise history The right final ending of a disgusting season No words..." https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/sun-has-set-week-18-bills-pats-postgame-thread.1165155/page-3
  2. The difference between the teams is only one HC has a brain and he decided it would be better to lose this game. The Buffalo Bills just screwed the Patriots out of a huge draft pick haul in 2025. I enjoyed the meaningless win for NE while watching them lose out on the #1 overall. 😁
  3. I think it's hilarious that this Patriots franchise is so inept they are willing to lose that 1st overall draft pick over a meaningless game. The extra draft picks that they might acquire trading away that #1 could help them rebuild their team quickly. The Buffalo Bills win more if they lose this game IMO.
  4. I gotta wonder if the some of the shine is beginning to dim on Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel and his QB Tua Tugboatinjured. Granted they were 11-6 last season. However Miami owner Stephen Ross is another wackadoodle like the NY Jets owner Johnson as he picked Tua over Justin Herbert. Makes me think some changes might be coming to Miami too.
  5. Belichicks adage, If you ain't cheating...you ain't trying hard enough!
  6. Think about it as Daboll let Barkley go and put all his chips on Danial Jones. Let's face it the guy just doesn't like running the ball very much and it cost him. Now look what Barkley has done for the 13-3 Eagles with his 2000 yard season... Daboll looks like a steaming pile and I doubt he even gets looks for OC in 2025.
  7. I'd agree with @hondo in seattle that I'd be shocked if Brian Daboll gets hired back in Buffalo for any reason. As long as we are throwing out "maybes" like Browns HC Kevin Stephanski. I'd like to add Bengals HC Zak Taylor and 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan. Looking at what Joe Brady has done for this Bills team recently and that the run game has made a huge comeback to NFL offenses I'd be surprised if Joe doesn't get any offers. NY Giants first because of the connection to Ex Buffalo FO Joe Schoen. Raiders, Jags, Cowboys, Colts, Patriots. I'd hate to see the guy go to the NE Patriots.
  8. Ohhh Josh Allen is a god! YES, an Alien unicorn and one of a kind great QB! We all love him! Still, what some of you guys just don't get is with all that greatness in Allen for the 2023 season. The Buffalo Bills were 5-5 and about to go into the toilet under OC Ken Dorsey. Then under new OC Joe Brady the Bills went on a 6 game tear and won a playoff game against Pittsburgh. Only to lose to the KC Chiefs (the SB champs) because of an injury depleted defense. A defense so severely injured that the starting LBer was going on vacation with his family two weeks earlier and even he was injured during the game and had to sit out awhile. https://thebuffalofanatics.com/2023-divisional-round-injury-report-buffalo-bills-vs-kansas-city-chiefs/ And Buffalo still only lost that playoff game by a missed FG. McD called the defensive plays that season and he was a miracle worker to keep the Bills so competitive that year. #4 in points allowed, #9 in yards allowed. So to all the Bills fans that keep talking about getting rid of McD. The man is second to only Chiefs HC Andy Reid in wins over the last five years. Anyone you replace him with will want to change the entire team to fit their idea of how things should be. You know, like Rex Ryan did to the Buffalo defense by taking the Buffalo D line with the #1 team in sacks to having those D line players drop into pass coverage so the crappy Bills LBers could rush the passer. 13-3, #2 seed in the 2024 playoffs... count some freaking blessings!
  9. Under Joe Brady 13 different Bills players have caught a pass this season which ties an NFL record..."everybody eats". Not just Diggs and while he was having a good year under Dorsey the team was 5-5. Like under Daboll, Dorsey had no answer for the Buffalo offense when the pass game wasn't working... along with Josh Allen under great duress and those two morons just kept calling pass plays. Buffalo now has a power rush game which cannot be overstated how good that is for the Bills offense. Not only do opposing teams need to account for Josh Allen who can run or hit any receiver anywhere on the field. They now need to account for Cook, Davis and Johnson on the ground and in the pass game. They don't know who is getting the ball on any play. The Bills this season beat the top two teams in the both the NFC, AFC in the 13-1 Lions AT DETROIT along with the then undefeated Chiefs in Buffalo. The 15-1 Chiefs with their only loss to Buffalo. Some Bills fans seem to forget that Buffalo was supposed to be in a rebuilding year this season after losing Poyer, Hyde along with superstar WR Stephon Diggs. Most talking heads had the Bills next to last in the division. Nobody picked Buffalo to beat Detroit at Detroit with their #1 offense in the NFL and two headed rushing attack. This year instead of Josh Allen running for his life against the Jags, Buffalo pounded them 47-10! The Buffalo Bills offense has mostly carried this team this season, 13-3 and some fans still complain...
  10. Buffalo at that time was 5-5 and falling on its face offensively! Losses to the NY Jets-Jags-Patriots-Bengals-Broncos. Then under Brady the Bills won 6 straight and made the playoffs. Plain and simple Ken Dorsey stunk and was a much lesser version of Daboll. McD did the right thing by firing him. BTW, how is Cleveland doing with him as OC? 3-13? P.S. gotta love watching an O linemen going in motion during a play.
  11. All well said! I love Joe Brady as OC! Buffalo now has a formidable rushing attack, which they didn't have under the last two clowns. The run game is so darn important to keep the offense balanced. I only hope he pulls a Ben Johnson and chooses to stay in Buffalo. He is my dream OC and I fear he will be stolen by some team looking to upgrade their HC/offense this offseason. Teams must be blind to not see what he has done here in Buffalo. Think of fewer turnovers from Josh this season. The power-run game, working with an extra O lineman, helps make Josh the most protected quarterback in the league, along with a top-two-run game. Currently, the 2024 Buffalo Bills are #2 in points scored,#9 in yards, and #1 in the NFL in rushing TDs.
  12. welp, now the Chiefs can rest for two weeks as they have the #1 seed locked up...the bastgages!
  13. Should the Chiefs beat the Steelers this week the Bills can't get the #1 seed and the Chiefs will be able to rest for over two weeks considering they play on Christmas day. Should that happen I can see Buffalo sitting all their 1st string for the next two games.
  14. Meeska... COOK! 9 yards a pop!
  15. The Bills KC'd em... Just win Baby!
  16. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-domed-stadium-josh-allen-soft-miami-dolphins-snow-weather "It's football, man. It's football weather," Allen said. "We love what we do. ... It's cold for us. It's cold for them. There's snow for us. There's snow for them."
  17. Why am I feeling exhausted?
  18. A win...is a win...is a WIN!
  19. What changed for Denver and Elway with Shanahan was the run game with RB Terrell Davis as they started running the ball more than they threw it...2000 yards rushing one year. It's like Don Shula with Dan Marino who was such a good QB passer that ole Don had forgotten what won him those SBs. Sure, he had Bob Griese at QB who had 218 pass attempts in 73. Then you had Jim Kick, Mercury Morris, and Larry Czonka with 507 rush attempts. The Buffalo Bills are going in the right direction with McD as HC and Joe Brady as OC. Currently, Buffalo has 397 passing attempts and 362 rushing attempts, a very balanced offensive attack. If Buffalo had a Chris Jones they would have gotten pressure on Matt Stafford and it's a different game. The Buffalo defense is lacking that difference-maker who can put that cape on and change the game. The Bills are 10-3 and this was supposed to be a rebuilding year after losing Poyer, Stephon Diggs, and Gabe Davis along with injuries to stars like Matt Milano. Looks to me like McD is one hell of an HC who can get a bunch of JAGS on defense to play outta their minds at times.
  20. Wonder if any of those guys are watching tonight's game and thinking 'boy, did we screw up"?
  21. sorta like Marcell Dareus?
  22. Some of you can't see the forest for the trees... An SB-winning QB got a hot hand throwing to two of the very best receivers in the game and ripped the Buffalo Bills defense a new one all game long. The receivers are wide open, no pressure on said QB with only 3 QB hits by Bill's defense all game. This Rams offense is directed by one of the finest young offensive minds in today's game in Rams HC Sean McVay. Matt Stafford is a HoF QB! This game was ALL about the Buffalo Bills defensive players falling on their faces for some unknown reason. This was against a middling 6-6 Rams team with both their offensive and defensive rankings in the 20s. Was it in the cross-country travel from the East Coast to the West? Well, then why didn't the offense fall apart too? The one thing about this season's defense that has been helping them look so good is the turnover ratio which is currently tied with the Steelers at +17. Yet, against the Rams no turnovers...on either side. My takeaway from watching Joe Marino and his all-22 is that the Buffalo defensive line is the biggest problem. IMHO we Bills fans should understand that McD is a miracle worker given the lack of talent on that Buffalo defense. Perhaps McD would have done a better job over the first-year DC play-caller, I don't know. Where is that special player who can put on a cape-like QB Josh Allen and take over a game? You know, like Bruce Smith and Cornelius Bennett used to do. Von Miller was supposed to be that guy and injuries derailed that. Injuries to the defense have screwed this team for years. Buffalo needs a Chris Jones and not a new HC.
  23. Since we are pulling out arbitrary names how about "the Chin"? First off, you don't want Gruden who won an SB back in 2002 in his first year with Tampa Bay, and the biggest reason for that win was because that team fielded the #1 defense overall built by Tony Dungy whom he replaced. The next 6 seasons under Gruden they didn't do much with one season at 11-5 and the rest barely winning, 7-9, 5-11, 11-5, 4 12,9-7, 9-7. Before he left TB to return to Oakland where he went 3-12, 7-9, 8-8, 3-2 and he resigned after week 5. Gruden likes to think he is the smartest guy on the planet and would have his QBs completely learn 2-foot playbooks so he could call some obscure play at some random time that wouldn't work anyway. On the other hand, Bill Cowher did very well year after year with utter scrubs at QB until Big Ben. Can you imagine AFC Champs with Neil O'Donnell, Mike Tomczak, and Kordell Stewart? 13-3 with Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox? Guys, as much as you yearn for change...McD isn't going anywhere. Not with a career 654% win percentage. Belichick has a 647% win percentage while Andy Reid has a 650%. Marv Levy has a 561% win percentage.
