I’m in Lithia. Milton will go overhead, but considerably weakened. I’m 10 or 12 miles from the bay. We’ll get tropical storm wind and perhaps rain based flash floods. I am not in surge danger. The most likely problem for me is power loss for days. Ive booked a few nights at the Terrace Hotel in Lakeland. Still in the path, but easy enough that I expect it will have power. Grateful I am. There are many at much greater risk.
