This is different. Better coaches. Better players. A real QB. Tyrod is the real deal and the offense as a whole did well considering this is a brand new system. I'm very optimistic even if we do lose. It will be a close game. Can't sit on the lead like we did last week.

Bills Release Bryce Brown

Agree. He's made some very smart decisions. Depth of the team is the best its been in a while. Think we are looking at a playoff caliber roster for first time in a long time -
Bills Release Bryce Brown
Billsmovinup replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Especially when they are willing to make moves. How do you want it Whaley bashers? Gutless and timid like Darcy Regier was. Waiting ad nauseum for the perfect trade or someone with some sack who swings for the fences but strikes out from time to time. I'll take the latter. Did I spell latter right? -
Bills Release Bryce Brown

So much for the "Whaley wants to keep his own guy" crowd. -
Don't think we'll be a SB favorite at 2-0. Very few outside the Buff saw yesterday coming. National media usually slow to come around. SB favorite if we secure home field maybe. NE still top dog like it or not. Yes this is lousy grammar but I don't really care.

John Clayton Opinion Means Nothing

Why do you like Cassel so much? The guys a bum. My 5 year old can throw it farther than he can. -
I hate to be like this but I'd love to see somebody go after Bradys knees. I know thats horrendous sportsmanship but the NFL isn't gonna do anything. This is like the bully on the beach repeatedly kicking sand in somebody's face. Sometimes you gotta go get a baseball bat and put the bully in the hospital for a month. And make sure your strapped when he comes back and finish it for good if necessary.

All he does is win. LOL. Can we bring the Brad Riter Flutie magic synthesizer bit back if we do sign Tebow.

If we get to the third QB on the depth chart it won't matter how the guy is hell be terrible.

Neither!

OJ was acquitted so Brady has good company. Would love to see him get knocked out of the game in week two by a nice clean devastating hit. If were gonna beat those clowns might as well do it while they are at their best. No Revis so Sammy should run wild.

Kryk: You could see the latest Bills melodrama coming
Billsmovinup replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Apparently the M&T people don't know much about football. Don't think I would be building and ad campaign around a 34 year old running back with a new coaching staff in the house. Thurman, Andre, and Bruce got cut. If they did anyone can. Wonder if the M&T marketing people got the ax. -

Kryk: You could see the latest Bills melodrama coming

I'll just point to all the misinformation that came out during the Mike Babcock situation. It was heavily reported that the Sabres and Babcock had a deal. Then when Babcock signed with Toronto the Buffalo media speculated that Babcock merely used the Sabres as a ploy to get his price up and then went to Toronto with the numbers and finalized a deal with the leafs. When Schopp brought this up to Murray, essentially accusing Babcock of bargaining in bad faith, Murray clearly became agitated and called the speculation nonsense and said Babcock did nothing of the sort. My point being you can't trust anything the press says. They love to start crap because it sells papers and lights up the phone lines. So I take these kind of reports with a grain of salt. -

I for one give the Buffalo News zero credibility. Their reporting is disgraceful and I wouldn't put it past them to have made this entire thing up. They clearly have an ax to grind with the Sabres, the Bills, and the Pegulas. Let's see what happens on the field. I predict that the Bills will have great success this year and I'll be LMFAO at those so called journalists as they scramble to cover their sorry asses when the team proves them wrong. What's even more hysterical is that the moron that wrote this article fell for the whole thing hook, line, and sinker. It's gonna be a fun year Bills fans. Don't buy into this nonsense for one minute. -

Have to be very careful when dishing out big deals. Sucks to be New Orleans. -
Fred Says Whaley Dishonest With Him
Billsmovinup replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WGR has been adamant since Rex got hired that rex calls the shots. Now the National Enquirer, I mean Buffalo News, claims Whaley went rogue. What's next? Terry and Kim are personal friends with Zenu the interplanetary leader of Scientology and they're gonna hire him to secretly call plays on game day? -
The fact that the Bills cut him doesn't bother me doest mean I don't admire him and quiet frankly I could care less that you don't want to know me. Love the dramatic touch BTW. 'Your not a human being Id care to know'. Sorry dude but Im not an ax murder or child molester because the Bills cutting fred hasnt motivated me to chastize management and disown the team. I love Fred as a person first. He is the model of class. He's done great things in the community. The Bills feel the right move is to go with younger players at that position. Don't see the need for the drama that has followed this decision. To many good things have happened this offseason and the play of Tyrod makes me think we could be on the verge of something special. Not Gonna let the release of one player(granted a very popular one amongst the fans) ruin that.
-
Couldn't agree more. The reaction to him getting cut is absolutely ridiculous. 34 year old back with one one thousand yard season and no playoff appearances in ten years. Not to mention all the good things that have happened this offseason alone like hiring Rex and probably more importantly getting Roman. Getting Shady and Charles Clay. Fixing the miserable guard situation. Getting QB play that has exceeded expectations by far. Having an offensive line coach who actually knows how to teach guys to block not to mention an owner who will spend any amount to give this team the resources its needs across the board to get a championship. Let's also not forget that we aren't part of the LA conversation as this team is going nowhere for the next fifty years. And I'm supposed to be pouting like a #@$%$# five year old cause Fred got cut. The glass isn't even half full for some of you. It's shattered and your on your way to the ER with a severed artery and about five minutes to live. Get a friggin grip.

Edit: now confirmed rumor that Bills will release Cassel
Billsmovinup replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cutting Cassel makes sense. No need to pay over 4 mill a season to a guy who averages 5.5 per attempt. Plus it will really piss off Schopp. Would love to here that windbags commentary if EJ somehow got on the field and threw for 400 yds in the reg season thought that would mean Tyrod got hurt and I'm certainly not hoping for that. -
Ridiculousness like this could only come from a Flutie fan. Don't go away mad, just go away.

Whaley is an idiot for cutting Fred
Billsmovinup replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have to agree with you on Whaley. I think he's done a great job so far. Has every move worked? No. But all GM's miss. If Tyrod pans out it will be yet another astute move and quite possibly one of the best moves he's made that should make us a contender this year or next. Can't understand how anyone can criticize the job he's done so far in the short time he's been GM. We could have one of the best defenses AND a top ten offense that will be very well balanced. Can't wait for the season to start.
