  1. Read a rumor somewhere that Pitt is very interested…tho they have been interested in every QB this year

Pickett is ready to play Day 1. 7. Giants select Charles Cross - OT - MSU Regarded as the best pass blocking tackle in the draft, we know Daboll loves to pass 8. Falcons - ***TRADE*** - Texans select Jermaine Johnson - EDGE - FSU Texans need edge pressure, Johnson transferred a great 2021 into a very impressive senior bowl and combine 9. Texans select Evan Neal - OT - Alabama Texans were one of the worst at both run and pass blocking, they need to go OT at one of the top spots 14. Ravens ***TRADE*** Cowboys select Kayvon Thibodeaux - EDGE - Oregon They lost Randy Gregory and Jerruh sees this as a chance to get a top 3 talent in the draft. 15. Eagles select Kyler Gordon - CB - UW The more physically gifted of the two UW corners. The length fits better in their defense. 16. Saints select Desmond Ridder - QB - UC Rumor is that every team has a first round grade on Ridder. He can start day 1 if they want to move on from Jameis. 17. Chargers select Garret Wilson -WR-OSU They continue to give weapons to Herbert. 18. Eagles - ***TRADE*** Vikings select Kyle Hamilton - Safety - Notre Dame The slide ends, not Minnys biggest need but a good person to pair with Harrison Smith 19. Saints select Chris Olave - WR - OSU Saints need weapons for their rookie QB 20. Steelers select Skyy Moore - WR WMU Might be a reach but Moore grew up with Tomlin’s kids. They lost Juju and I think they really think Mitch can succeed in their organization 21. Patriots select Trevor Penning - OT- UNI BPA and their line is looking rough. Mac needs to be kept clean in the pocket to succeed. 22. Packers select Treylon Burks - WR - Arkansas They seem ready to invest in a WR based on their top 30 visits. We will see… 23. Cardinals select Kair Elam - CB - Florida Late riser, the Cardinals need secondary help 24. Cowboys - ***TRADE*** - Ravens select George Karlaftis - EDGE - Purdue Ravens let the board come to them, shocker. 25. Bills - ***TRADE***- Jaguars select Tyler Linderbaum - Center - Iowa Jaguars jump ahead a few spots to lock down their Jason Kelce. 26. Titans select Zion Johnson - Guard -BC Left guard is their biggest area of need, Johnson is the top Guard in the draft 27. Bucs select Tyler Smith - OL - Tulsa After Ali Marpet retired, Bucs could use an upgrade to their interior line 28. Packers select Logan Hall - DL - Houston Their DLine is about to get very expensive, GB is planning for the future 29. Chiefs select Boye Mafe - EDGE -UMinn Apparently Chiefs have been high on him for a long time, they need better DLine play 30. Chiefs select Christian Watson - WR - ND St After Hill’s departure, they fill with a high end talent player who can start off returning kicks and doing reverses 31. Bengals select Trent McDuffie - CB -UW Bengals look to upgrade from Eli Apple 32. Lions select Lewis Cine - Safety -UGA Lions need a safety, rumblings he will be a day 1 pick **** Bills Picks Pick 33: From Jaguars Chad Muma - LB - Wyoming The Bills trade back as best as they can this year for a 2nd, 3rd and 5th. In doing so they feel free to select Muma who will play in base sets, replacing the departed AJ Klein while preparing to take over for Edmunds in a year. With the amount of high power running games we face, 3 LBs may be used more than we think. The Bills have a tendency to spend their first pick on a defensive player and all of our first rounders since 2018 had visited (when not restricted by Covid). The Bills had Muma for a top 30 visit while also meeting with him at the combine and having a private workout. While not a top need this year, hedges against a massive need next year and the Bills draft a little earlier than you would expect so not to lose him. Trade Pick 57, 168, and 185 to move up to Chicago at 48 Trey McBride - TE - Colorado St The Bills started this offseason off by saying they wanted to run more two-TE sets. In doing so they signed OJ Howard to be the TE2 in FA. Howard is oft-injured, has been a disappointment when he was healthy and was only signed to a one year deal. Likely, this signing is similar to the Manny Sanders signing last year where OJ may start the year as TE2 until a younger player proves to be ready. The Bills showed more interest in the TE position than any other in the pre-draft visits. After having a private workout with McBride, I think the Bills will have fallen head over heals. What you get out of McBride is a WR1 in a tight ends body. He had nearly identical catches and receptions to Jahan Dotson’s 2021. He also ran the same 40 time, while weighing 20 pounds more than Treylon Burks. The Bills know they are getting a person who was the tone setter for his team and is very good at both blocking and receiving. Pick 89: Jalen Tolbert - WR - South Alabama Continuing with the trend of smaller school guys, Tolbert is a three-level WR and excels at the deep crossing routes the Bills love to run. I hope the Bills take a WR by day 2 but If I had to bet on it, I would not feel confident. This could be the position that we keep clamoring for that the Bills don’t touch until day 3 or at all, especially with our desire to run 2 TE sets more. Pick 106 ( from Jags): Damari Mathis CB Pitt Most people expect CB to be filled by a very early draft pick, I tend to think McDermott meant it when he said this draft had some depth to it at the position. I think round 3 or 4 is where we will see a player selected and I think (and hope!) it will be Mathis. A RAS freak at the CB position, the Bills love drafting Pitt secondary defenders because they play in a very similar scheme in college to what they will run in the pros with the Bills. I think the Bills would feel comfortable with Mathis and a post-draft vet locking down one side of the field until Tre White gets back from injury. Pick 130: Rachaad White - RB - ASU Of all the players in the draft, the Bills have shown the most reported interest to Rachaad White. They have had him for a private workout and met with him at both the combine and senior bowl. He is the type of back that would not pressure the coaching staff to start him ahead of Singletary as he should be a 3rd or 4th rounder. Additionally, he would make Duke Johnson expendable as he is an excellent pass catching back. Pick 157: (from jags) - Ben Brown - C/G - Ole Miss At this point I’m just guessing but the Bills will probably draft a G/C backup and Brown has nice size. The Bills seem to be going high RAS players and due to an injury Brown was not able to test. Watching some of his games he does appear to have decent athleticism. Pick 203: Dane Belton - Safety - Iowa The Bills love Iowa players and could look for a young strong safety to teach as both Poyer and Jaquan Johnson’s contracts are up after this season. Belton has shown good play against the run and the pass. Pick 231 - Punter Whichever one is available, will likely be our last pick to compete with Haack
  4. Final day of rumors from Charlie Campbell includes some “second hand” info https://walterfootball.com/nflhotpress/article/2022-NFL-Draft-Week-Rumors-Thursday
  5. Asante Samuel Jr in his 2021 final mock Jonah Williams in 2019 final mock Looks like he picked Josh in 2018 I think Tmrw at like 11 pm can’t come soon enough lol
  6. Yea Walker is my #1 too, though there were those rumors that he may have an injury concern Haha yea I think we are in for future Buffalo Bill Rachaad White, Hasan Haskins, Isaiah Pacheco, etc. lol
  7. I like Breece Hall and like that he broke the NCAA record for most consecutive games with a rushing TD (24). If we are investing in a RB like Hall high, it better mean Josh can reduce some of the red zone rushing beating he has taken. But watching him play, I am not surprised of the stats Marino posted. Hall is not much for breaking tackles. Good at avoiding tacklers but not super strong through contact. Thankfully their is only 2 more days of this until this speculation is over
  8. Though Booth is a good player, the smoke about his health is getting pretty thick I think it is probably pretty likely that he is there at 25 and beyond like Owusu-Koramoah last year who fell late into the second round after some health issues popped up in the pre-draft.
  9. With the 13th pick of the TSW Mock Draft 3.0 the Minnesota Viking select: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU Stingley is the Vikings #1 player in the entire draft. Getting him at 13 while acquiring a 2023 second round pick almost makes up for having Kirk Cousins as our QB. After an all time Freshman year, Stingley’s play was criticized as not being as good during the 2020 Covid year and in 2021 when injuries hampered him and there were weird things going on in the LSU program in general. But instead of sitting out the year after his amazing Freshman season, he played and he gets credit for that. Stingley appeared healed from his Lisfranc injury after a pretty impressive Pro Day and the Vikings are excited to plug one of their biggest needs with a premier player in the draft. The Baltimore Ravens and @Logic are now on the clock
  10. Vikings, Seahawks, Commanders
  11. Pickens is being rumored to have some off the field issues, I could definitely see him there at 57 due to that and his injury history but doubt the Bills would take him if those rumors are true.
  12. With the 54th pick in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft 2.0. the Pittsburgh Steelers select Phidarian Mathis, DL, Alabama. The Steelers DL is getting old and was ineffective against the run last year. Getting Mathis in the second round - who was a great run defender - is a great influx of youth to that rotation. This year is Mitch’s to show what he has as a starter in a less dysfunctional franchise. It was tempting to take a flyer at a QB in this position but we will instead punt that position and revisit next year if needed. The Cardinals and @Bill from NYC are on the clock
  13. With the 52nd pick in the 2022 TSW Mock Draft 2.0. the Pittsburgh Steelers select Jaquan Brisker, Safety, Penn State. The Steelers had to check the board three times to make sure their eyes weren’t deceiving them and Brisker was still available. The versatile defender would be a perfect compliment to Minkah and fills the one starter spot we were missing after free agency. Though we love him in coverage his physicality is exactly the type of attitude we like enforcing the back of our defense. The Packers and @GunnerBill are now on the clock
  14. I don’t think we need to draft a CB in round 1. But historically, the only year our first draft pick was not a defensive player was 2018 when we drafted Josh. And we still traded up in the first to draft a defensive player, Tremaine. So 4/5 drafts have resulted in a defensive player as the first pick. Its doubtful we draft another DLineman after all the investment we have made there recently. Drafting a first round LB or Safety probably signals the Bills intentions towards Tremaine and Poyer past this year which may not be a good look for team chemistry. so that leaves CB. The Bills could surprise us and go offense in RD1, but CB is definitely what makes sense from needs and their patterns over the last 5 years
  15. Yea may as well call it for Wilson now lol
  16. I think worth depends on the team. Patriots seem like a pretty good landing spot for him because his best ability is getting open quickly off the line which helped late stage Big Ben and will probably be a good asset for Mac Jones. As Logic pointed out too, the Pats are awful at drafting WRs (Nkeal Harry over AJ brown and Metcalf) so a proven productive commodity is a little more valuable.
  17. I think Wyatt would be a little wasted in Pitts 3-4. I thought about Safety but those can be had later, same for IOL. Receiver seemed like the best bet at this moment It’s not how it will really go but best situation for this current draft
  18. You should be in for a surprise soon In real life, I think they get a QB but in this scenario WR was pretty clearly the top few guys. Also, I think they are setting up the roster for a rookie QB with Najee last year and WRs this year in this scenario. For as bad as Ben was the last 1.5 years I think he made a lot of those later round receivers what they were.
  19. With the 20th pick in the draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama. The Steelers are pretty stunned to be in this scenario. When April 28th rolls around, I think the Steelers will give up next years first to move up for Willis or a small move up for Kenny Picket. On the bright side, maybe our second biggest need is WR and there are some spectacular players still available. The selection came down to Garret Wilson and Jameson Williams. With either Mitch Trubisky this year or a rookie next year, we want receivers with good YAC as well as the ability to run good routes. In the end it came down to William’s speed and how rare his type of speed is. This year is Mitch’s to hold down the fort while a rookie learns, and so they also feel comfortable giving the necessary rehab time so that Williams is 100% for next year. @Logic and the New England Patriots are now on the clock.
  20. Good point with PSU, as Shoop, Pry and James Franklin all interconnected. Brandon Smith certainly has all the physical traits you look for and more in an ILB and if we could get him day 3 to develop for a few years that may help him bc he was pretty raw this past year.
  21. One of the only games I’ve had the pleasure of attending. 2011 seemed so promising!
