  1. You animals are gonna make me vote for Deonte Brown to try and avoid Nasirildeen
  2. There are always surprise slides in the draft. I think likely you are right and he will fall later than expected. He is a great player but with his size and the depth of WR in the draft each year I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes late first. In the worst of worst case scenarios for him he would go to JAX in the second round.
  3. With the 83rd selection in the 2021 TSW Mock Draft, the Chicago Bears select, Carlos “Boogie” Basham, DL, Wake Forest. The Eagles and @Watkins101 are on the clock. The Bears are very excited to have added CB Greg Newsome, OT Sam Cosmi and DL Carlos Basham. All of which we had graded much higher than where we had selected them. Outside of QB, Cornerback and RT were out two biggest needs and we believe we have filled them with athletic Day 1 starters. Our DLine situation is complicated in that we have Khalil Mack on one side and an underperforming Robert Quinn on the other. We believe Boogie can give us good play early to compliment Mack and grow into a player that can work along the DLine in different pressure packages. Thank you to everyone for a great time!
  4. We don’t have too many leaks since Beane took over. I could see them liking Levi Onwuzurike. Barmore will likely be gone. Don’t think their is much to take out of this.
  5. Even weak draft classes have players from all rounds and all positions that become great players in the league. I think especially with how weird last year was for all sports we are undervaluing some of the guys coming out.
  6. i agree I don’t like either very much personally but trying to give a little positional diversity
  7. In no particular order: Paulson Adebo CB Stanford Elijah Molden Slot CB/S Washington Nico Collins WR Michigan Richie Grant S Central Florida Jabril Cox LB LSU Quinn Meinerz OG Wisconsin Whitewater Dillon Radunz OT North Dakota State Brevin Jordan TE Miami Milton Williams DL Louisiana Tech Tyler Shelvin DT LSU
  8. With the 52nd pick in the 2021 TSW Mock the Chicago Bears select, Sam Cosmi, OT, Texas. The Chargers and @glazeduckare on the clock. Our interior OL is a strength but as of now our RT position is a question mark. We view Cosmi as our RT with the athleticism to eventually take over as a left tackle. And with our QB1, Andy Dalton, we are going to need a good OLine.
  9. I like Warren Sharps posts, kinda reinforces what we saw watching games last year. Schopp is just so predictable lol
  10. I think most likely one person didn’t want her name to go public and to deal with all the troubles that come along with that rather than a settlement.
  11. With the 20th pick in the TSW mock draft, the Chicago Bears select Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern. The Colts and @mannc are on the clock. To be honest, the Bears took one more desperate pass at the Seahawks for Russ Wilson to the point that the Commish had to step in to tell them it’s never happening. With that dream gone, the Bears return to their defense where the biggest need is at CB after the release of Kyle Fuller. Luckily for the Bears a talented local kid fell to us at 20. Born in Chicago and going to college down the road in Evanston, Newsome blends athleticism and playmaking that is always at a premium. We are excited to add a premier talent to our secondary and look forward to leaning on our defense and run game this season.
  12. You may be right, if Weaver hadn’t torn his ACL in 2019 I think I would disagree. He wasn’t quite the same this past year but you get him somewhere in round 3-5 instead of 30.
  13. From poking around some draft people that specifically deal with the Cowboys I think you are right that Horn is their preferred pick if Sewell, Slater and Pitts are gone. Id be very surprised to see Rousseau go that high though your reasoning was well though out. And I think in this situation the Raiders probably go OLine Vera-Tucker after gutting their interior this offseason. Not a big Ossai fan for the Bills in that spot. I get the spot you are in though because who really should the Bills pick in that instance? Ossai has some nice traits and the future health of our DE position requires us finding someone that can replace Hughes and Ossai is not a bad comp for Hughes. But I think we probably address DE in the middle rounds with a Weaver or Turner. Similarly we could look at a Creed Humphrey, someone that blows the RAS out of the water (which Bean loves) and is a decorated wrestler (which McDermott loves) and a replacement for Morse who is not long for this team but who can also compete to improve our interior this year. Or maybe he goes for another wide receiver like Rondale Moore who is a special athlete and could slot in behind Sanders and Beasley this year and then step up later in the playoffs and next year. Really difficult projection, I think if I had to in this scenario it would be between Moore or Humphries, then CB in rd2 and DE/DT to follow. Finally great job grinding through a full 32, that’s a lot of work.
  14. One thing to keep in mind is Hill wasn’t invited to the combine due to his off field issues. So each Hill and Moore were timed at a pro day where the times are less exact. So 4.29 or 4.32 may be no difference at all. And watching the 40 attempts both online Id say they look near identical. Now, when you watch them in their college highlights, it looks like Hill has a little more power to his acceleration into contact. Tho Moore was more developed as a football player and so was much more productive. Intriguing guy. If it wasn’t for the soft tissue concerns I think you would be looking at someone vying with Waddle for 2nd WR taken.
  15. Now that Pro days are over, of all the potential draftees Rondale Moore is the closest this draft has athletically to Tyreek Hill. Of course, Moore was a 5th round pick, converted from RB to WR who played primarily special teams early in his career. Moore will be a first or second round pick and will have much higher expectations. Additionally, Hill is a little bigger with pretty long arms of over 34 inches while Moore’s are under 32 inches. Finally, Moore’s lower body injuries are a big concern going forward. If the Bills want there own version of Hill, Moore is about as close as you’re going to get. Though the risks are certainly there.
  16. He has been used mostly out of the slot and so with Beas being the man and with this being his last year under contract I’d say its unlikely we give up anything for him. I will say he has graded really well in Matt Harmon’s Reception Perception which is something I listen to when prepping for my fantasy drafts. Last offseason Miller was grouped alongside Calvin Ridley, Curtis Samuel, Diontae Johnson and Sterling Shepherd as guys that graded out really well but hadn’t had that breakout year yet. This was the best, free written synopsis I could find about how he grades there (I usually listen to his podcast appearances): Per Matt Harmon's Reception Perception, Anthony Miller is a very talented route runner, as he surpassed the NFL average success rate on every route except for the curl. He also posted a 73.3% (83rd percentile) success rate against man coverage and 79.1% (91st percentile) success rate against zone coverage. Anthony Miller also held a 75% contested catch percentage. https://www.ffastronauts.com/post/it-s-miller-time So he would be intriguing, but since he is only a 1 year rental at this point, I think we will draft a WR in the draft instead
  17. Their is a town in Massachusettes called Bridgewater that is 30 minutes away from Gillette. He was born to be a NE QB (that we dominate the next few years 😁)
  18. A fun video to watch, this game was a little before my time so I hadn’t heard about it before. It’s amazing how the spirit of this fan base has not changed throughout generations and we really are the best fans in the NFL.
  19. Etienne is fast but just so lacking in other areas. Not a good pass protector, not a great receiver, butterfingers. Najee doesn’t have crazy speed but he is above average at so many things.
