  1. I wouldn’t hate it, seems like the Bills really want an effective play action game this year and Henry would help that. But I think Hopkins and especially Jeffrey Simmons make more sense. I’m no capologist but I believe Henry is still owed about $6.8 million for the rest of the year. Compare that to Hopkins whose total base salary for the year was $1.2 million and Simmons base is only $1.3 million this year (his big money kicks in next year). Not sure when they say everyone is available that they mean Simmons too. But maybe the conversations we are having with the Titans are being speculated for Henry but actually involving one of those players at a greater area of need? Who knows
  2. I still think Josh can be the top QB in the league when he wants to be. And I think he is probably an ok leader behind the scenes and in the huddle. But I’ve been watching Josh for a long time and I don’t see the fire I saw when he was at Wyoming or just before 13 seconds struck. I think a little part of it is him feeling like he made it…which he has. But I think that is mostly on coaching. Without Daboll I don’t think anyone on the offensive side has the nuts to tell Josh to do better and tell him what he could do (except Stef but he is not a coach). That is the biggest problem imo. Just once I would like to see the camera pan to the sideline and have a coach sitting next to Josh looking at one of those tablets( what does Joe Brady even look like?). Or see him up huddling with his teammates getting them psyched up….Josh could be doing more but he is not the problem. Offensive coaching is the problem. But this is all jmo
  3. Zero worry. Jones is terrible and his confidence is shot. Neither Zeke or Stevenson are game breakers. And Parker, Juju and Bourne have no juice. They have averaged 6.7 ppg in the last 3 games. 12 ppg for the entire year. Their defense won’t be able to do much either as their best two players Judon and Gonzalez are out. Bills will roll, Gabe, Kincaid and the others will have a big day. They may throw all their resources at Stef so maybe he doesn’t do much. I don’t see another close Giants game. Maybe a Washington type game where it is close for a bit and then it breaks open.
  4. As sad as it will be to see them go, Tre will likely be cut as a post 6/1 designation saving 10.3 million in cap. Poyer may be here in 2024 but the Bills save 5.5 million in cap if he isnt. Hyde will be here bc not much savings but 2024 will be his last. They may run with Benford, Elam, resign Dane and sign another cheaper vet for CB, Maybe they keep Rapp around for 2024. I think 2025 is when we will see some new faces for the secondary but certainly is going to be needed soon.
  5. I turned off my TV with :09 left. Checked the score and watched the replay a few minutes later to find out we held on. Hadnt ever done that before, and so I blame myself for 13 seconds. I’m sorry everyone
  6. Harris gave thumbs up fortunately
  7. honestly they are right. Van Jefferson who was drafted one round later than Jeudy and has 1 more TD and 70 less catches for 1k less yards in his career was traded for a swap of 6th and 7th rounders in 2025. If the Broncos get anything (more likely he plays out his contract), it will be at best a day 3 pick in 2024 imo
  8. Put Stidham in
  9. If owners were serious about player safety rather than maximizing profit, they could make it work. But they aren’t so they won’t. One NFL game a week (none of this back to back day stuff), not accepting college games if it would pose a bad issue for the playing surface, the overlap for soccer and football seasons is pretty small. It comes down to the synthetic turfs costing less money for maintenance as you pointed out.
  10. The players asked for grass, MetLife installed “improved synthetic turf”
  11. Technically Mahomes has not beaten KC. Its Cardinals, Eagles, Bucs and Colts in the regular season (and Bills) for Josh https://www.covers.com/nfl/josh-allen-record-against-every-nfl-team
  12. same thing they do to Diggs when we play them. Dare the refs to call everything.
  13. Mahomes is good but he is also the luckiest QB in the league
  14. Yea it’s one game. The broadcast sucked, the refs were awful for both sides, the Bills had to travel for their “home” game while the Jags got used to the time zones. We unfurled a new CB tandem and then had big injuries to the first and second level of our defense. Led to bad TOP which along with the crazy officiating made it hard for the offense to get a rhythm. Certainly things the Bills could have done better to pull out a win, but it’s just one funky loss. The injuries affect multiple games so I will hope for the best for Milano and Jones.
  15. Jags obviously saw something in film study on those rollout throws to the tight end. Luckily the flag helped us there
  16. I’ve sat through Collinsworth, Gruden, Booger, Beth Mowens. I had to mute the telecast on this one.
  17. jaelen Phillips DE, Connor Williams C, Deshon Elliot S (tho their previous starter at safety Brandon Jones should play for the first time since he tore his ACL last season)
  18. Eichenberg had some snapping issues in replacement of Williams last week, so something to watch. Their pass rush will be much less dangerous without Phillips too.
  19. it was worse than that. Those three didn’t play but we were also without Dane Jackson who was CB1 at that point of the season, Ed Oliver, and Mitch Morse. We did have Von at that point tho.
  20. They played a lot of zone to protect against the QB scramble, also we crushed them and everything else was working great 👍
  21. Haha Ed knew what to do against Van Roten
  22. I remember Rex taking him out to dinner after he was cleared….then he signed with the cowboys
  23. This is worse than Bob McNairs we can’t have the prisoners running the prison quote. Hoo boy
  24. Jeopardy lost another host and they still haven’t called you?
  25. Yea RT trying to get ahead of Hutchinson but no call
