  1. I honestly believe Reddick can play any of the LB positions, and I think he possesses the type of versatility that McDermott likes in a player.
  2. I'd like to see his actual quote with some context. What if he meant Sammy is the #2
  3. I want Brady to play 0 more years. Hopefully I'm closer to being correct than he is.
  4. Well then we can agree, MSU!
  5. I don't think this is an issue, really. How often does John Schneider address the media?
  6. Are the Hokies still the only team to win in the Horseshoe?
  7. 16 CBs and 9 Safeties in my ~100. It's pretty crazy
  8. They allowed 19.1 points per game, good for 5th in the NFL. Dallas' D allowed 24 or more points 3 times all year, twice in the regular season. The Bills D (in '15) allowed 24 or more points 6 times in 1 less game. Again, they are very close in every category. I think TT got the edge in Rushing and Total Yards per Game.
  9. They were both first year starters. What was the difference between good and great for you? Wins? Because one had a top 5 D to help them out.
  10. on a per game basis Dak's 2016 is incredibly similar to Tyrod's 2015
  11. If that's what would happen then there isn't a disagreement between McD and Whaley...
  12. Yeah, I'd say late 2nd/early 3rd at the absolute latest.
  13. Haason Reddick is the versatile LB McDermott likes to use. I don't mind him at 10, but I think if he's the target there's an opportunity to trade back and get him plus another pick or 2.
  14. Was there any other choice for Rex? While the odds were small, we still had a shot at the playoffs. He wanted his starting QB, and for obvious reasons. You saw week 17...
  15. I know this. However, he didn't want to go sit behind Joe and Denver offered him a nice contract that offseason as well. He'd have been a Bronco, not a Raven.
  16. Kamar Aiken actually said almost the exact same about Baltimore funnily enough.
  17. Hughes and Shady were both good trades. I just don't like how Whaley handles draft assets. I think he's solid in player for player trades, but he very much mishandles trades involving picks imo.
  18. Sounds kind of like the situation in DC, where Scott didn't even attend the combine. Though obviously this is a less important event
  19. No, unless you think Denver is purple.
  20. If we want to go full tinfoil hat: the man in line behind Whaley is Jim Monos, who worked as an area scout in Philly while McD was coaching in Philly. Also, it seems to me that Whaley's preservation mode is that he just gives the HC whatever he wants and then points to that when evaluations come up. Maybe McDermott doesn't want a yes man, but instead wants someone who can provide feedback and a different perspective to help build the team better.
  21. Hopefully it's with the 7th round pick! Or maybe the 4th round pick, I suppose.
  22. Our backups are 0-3 over the past 2 years, so he couldn't be worse!
  23. There's still plenty of pieces to possibly fall between possible pickups, cuts, and the draft. I'd expect targets to be players who've been with Dennison before (Brock, Siemian/Lynch), or a rook
