  2. No. If something happens on offense it's because of the QB.* *unless it's scoring, or positive in general, then it's because of the RB.
  3. You gunning for Buffalo Barbarian's throne? Admirable goal!
  4. And many others' argument is that his opinion has not been anywhere close to accurate about QBs in the past, so there isn't much reason to care about his thoughts on Allen over someone else's with a better track record. That's all.
  5. If Allen has a sophomore year like Blake Bortles' I will be a very happy Bills fan. (4,400 passing yards, 35 TDs, 18 INTs)
  6. Canton. How cool would it be to start and end your career in the same city?
  7. Best way to learn for a talented kid that young. Throw him in the fire!
  8. Clearly you didn't follow the entire conversation to see how we got to where we got to, so I'd suggest doing that. But at the end of the day I am comparing the players and their bodies of work in the NFL when giving my feedback on the topic at hand. If you want to say Tyrod sucked because one of his 3 years as a Bill - in a new O with admittedly worse weapons was bad, then you're going to get called out for it. Especially since the other 2 years are both in the top 10 in points scored in team history. I know you didn't do that, but that's the part of the conversation you seem to have glossed over. Same goes for LB for me. I love the Edmunds pick and he's got all the potential in the world, but he's stepping in to replace a MLB that has played 1,000+ snaps in each of the past 4 years and racked up 289 tackles and 216 assisted tackles in that time. As much as I like Edmunds, it's hard for me to say that position is upgraded at this point in time.
  9. Here's an early and unrefined look: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2019/wide-receiver/
  10. No, it's comparing the position groups now to the previous position groups. The QB had been here for more than 2017, much like the OL and the MLB.
  11. No need to go to Duffs. Just an obligatory camera cut to wings being tossed in a stainless steel bowl.
  12. Get back to me when he leads the Bills to 400 points.
  13. I know they aren't doing anything incredibly physical at this point, but how does this work with guys who aren't signed yet? Like what happens if Allen slips on a wet mat and tears his ACL along with getting a concussion?
  14. I think he's implying that we win the division, but are the 3 or 4 seed.
  15. I'll revisit this when we know the 53 man roster. Maybe at the 75 cut if it's a pretty clear picture.
  16. What I found really interesting was that the 90's teams on that list all valued Thurman more than Kelly. In fact, Taylor is the only QB to have the highest AV on the team of any of those top 10 scoring years.
  17. My cousin and I had a great exchange with Marshawn a while back, but after he had gone to Seattle. We got an autograph and my cousin commented that he missed seeing Marshawn run people over in Buffalo. He definitely meant it in a football way, but immediately realized it could be taken the wrong way with Marshawn's Buffalo history. Marshawn gave us a mean mug for like 5 seconds and then broke into hysterical laughter. Fun times.
  18. The pass rushers are coming next year. CB was already a pretty big need even with White. Without him we could not have afforded to draft anything other than CB, imo.
  19. Man, that sounds like an incredibly familiar approach...
  20. How Allen plays matters just as much, if not more. But otherwise, yes.
  21. No, I mean the 2 years of top 10 DVOA offenses and 2 of the top 10 scoring offenses in the team's history.
