What are your feelings on James Cook RB1
Thrivefourfive replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
Definitely RB1 quality. This is either going one of two ways.. use him early and often and he’s toast at 27/28 years old. Or manage handoffs and he gets an extra year or two added on to a career that won’t end in Buffalo. I vote for option 1. -
Didn’t choke huh.. Does he/she HC?

The Most Embarrassing Day in Bills’ History
Thrivefourfive replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear you. I can’t remember if I was pissed or not at bad timeouts. Guess that’s a good thing, because ten other times in his tenure I can pinpoint win costing gaffs. I’ll point to zero pressure on Mahomes as a main cause for the loss. McDermott took on calling the defense like a total sociopath, and in the end the Chiefs were ready to score score score when the Bills offense couldn’t keep the ball for all 60 minutes. I know, injuries. Always going to be something.. -

Bills Draft Needs - From the Athletic
Thrivefourfive replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anyone have a feeling that of all the positions on a football team McDermott is most bothered by receivers? -
The rest of the world pretty much laughs at American football. This isn’t basketball. Like, at all. There are two paths to the NFL. Super duper talented athletic, or playing tackle football as a young teen and working hard with the early instincts developed. Europe isn’t doing that on a whole. Chris Spielman isn’t grinding it out as a youth on the deforested fields of the Sudetenland. Flag football isn’t a serious step to the NFL.

The Most Embarrassing Day in Bills’ History
Thrivefourfive replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
It absolutely scares me to death that there’s going to be an excuse every freakin year that McDermott is HC. We’re all watching him handpick his scapegoats year after year. I have nothing against Brady and Babich but seriously? This is a championship caliber roster ABSOLUTELY ready to win NOW. Yet we have two young, inexperienced coordinators matched with a sketchy game caller and clock/timeout manager. I don’t like it. I don’t trust McDermott in the big spots. I hope I’m wrong. Oh, special teams straight up sucks. If we had players with a killer instinct they’d take this thing over and win in spite of the coaching staff. That happens in the NFL. But we don’t have that either. SBXXVII started off beautifully. Tasker blocked a punt! Guy should be a Hall of Famer. But nine turnovers is laughable. Nine possessions you just give the ball back. That’s insane. -
Get excited... change is NOW with a youth wave!!!

That OP just scared me to death. -
This tournament wasn’t going to be four rounds. Those storms were/are no joke coming in from the ocean/north. The weather can get like this in this area of California practically 12 months a year. In early July, 50 degrees and rainy and windy is a common occurrence. Just hoping the LA Open doesn’t suffer from bad weather this year too.

Any Chance of Playing Some 4- 3 Next Year?
Thrivefourfive replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Putting another player on the field at D line that can’t do his job and taking off DW42 or Dodson would be a mistake. The Bills would have to draft or bring in a player that makes a consistent impact on the D line. Everything this team has done up front tells us that that’s not happening. -
Should the Bills trade up for their own “Julio Jones”
Thrivefourfive replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane trading for Diggs in that deep WR draft is a folly that doesn’t get enough hate. -
I think I stated my opinion. Do we all think Bill is going to parachute into a championship roster and ride that cowboy to a Super Bowl next season? He has six rings. He wants that all time winning record. Probably doesn’t expect much else,, Jesus a Super Bowl would be unbelievable for him. He knows that. The Raiders are iconic. Bill is a football historian. Being linked in some way to that side of history may interest him. But I know absolutely nothing. He’s had plenty of practice

Will Derrick Henry be a Bill in 2024?
Thrivefourfive replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I bet Derrick Henry could play safety. You have my blessing, Beane. (time spent on this board has me thinking every Bills player can be a safety.) -
What's your personal Bills win/loss record?
Thrivefourfive replied to BritBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don’t think I haven’t been tempted. And don’t think I’ve resisted because of this crap. Season opener last year, LAC this season. The real hand sweaty moments recently have been the possibility of the Bills playing in the Super Bowl in LA and Vegas. I would have needed the Oracle at Delphi to weigh in. -
Inside Jets dysfunction article in the Athletic
Thrivefourfive replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is the best. All the Jets have to do is run this back thinking Salah can coach and Rodgers can last. Beautiful. -
No more Bangkok? What an idiot.

So we're moving on from Harbaugh right?
Thrivefourfive replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
Problem with Harbaugh is he’s tied to the one dimensional Jackson — the easiest super star in sports to defend. -
Joe Brady Officially Promoted as Bills OC!
Thrivefourfive replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Geez, I’d rather I wasn’t reminded of his Carolina stint. I loved watching that LSU offense. And I could have pass coordinated to moderate-great success.
