  1. I read that book! Interesting take on the case. And one that I could never rule out,,, because what the hell do I know.
  2. My dad would tell me he’d sit on those benches in December to “watch OJ run”, even though the Bills Suck!” (to quote my mom). Kinda a thing sticks with a kid.
  3. After week 6..?? Harty sucked. It’s what it is. And maybe we don’t need his one and only contribution if Josh had a WR core he deserves, and some guys could hold onto touchdown drops.
  4. People, please stop comparing to the Chiefs. They have a masterful play designer/caller and a much much much better defense. Allen and Mahomes is the fair comparison. I believe that Allen will be A okay without Diggs.
  5. We are going to know from camp reports if a draftee is looking the part.
  6. Which WR can visit “the zone” more often, if at all? When we watch Hill go crazy, and Chase and Jefferson do it, they are in that zone. When they’re not, they look a little more NFL human. Still really good. I think Jefferson gets in a takeover the offense zone. Chase gets in takeover the game zone. And Hill, I don’t even know what that is. He’s up there with Barry Sanders. So a guy like Coleman, does he have that in him? Does Legette? Will Brian Thomas Jr. do something like Torrey Smith and look spectacular a few times and be an enigma his whole career? I can see Nabers being an unstoppable monster. Just too big, strong, fast, and mean to deal with at times. Odunze smoothly racking up 10 catch 150 yard games, leaving the defense with nothing more than a “damn, nice game, Rome” admission of helplessness. And MHJ catching a bunch of balls, but struggling on YAC and explosive plays to be considered more than Michael Thomas. Again, just my take.
  7. Thanks for the heads up. I checked the YouTubes and he looks like a joystick runner. Very fun. Hope he gets that top gear back from the leg injury. Read the combine report. His grade is 5.80-5.99 Average backup or special-teamer. But that’s probably if he doesn’t regain what he had pre injury. Okay, cool name to keep an eye on. (Of course he’ll be in the AFC. They’re all in the AFC.) Anquan Boldin? He’s stout. The hips are tight though. I read that and I agree after watching.
  8. We don’t want Josh to dip when that opportunity presents itself. Something is going to have to happen in a Bills uniform very soon for him to feel like he’s got a foot in the ground of this city and football community. I don’t think he’s there yet, so that’s an unknown that itches me. Obviously, a Super Bowl win and we’re all happy. But if he doesn’t have some unique game or season or playoff win, or a streak or something more than what’s already been a brilliant statistical career,, I’m a little concerned. What’s going to make him say that he wants to retire a Buffalo Bill? If he goes 15 years without a Super Bowl win here in Buffalo, I’ll be okay because the alternative would be quarterback searching. Basically, I want Josh to get this done. And I don’t want a lack of appreciation from true Bills fans to screw that up.
  9. He’s the reason I have zero confidence in the Bills offensive creativity and capability to utilized specific, unique players’ abilities. Hopefully Brady surprises me and makes the offense look simple again. Hasn’t happened since the 2020 season as far as I’m concerned.
  10. Our guy has to be a great runner after the catch. That’s the cherry on top. I think that’s what breaks a defensive. Sick of catch and dive guys like Diggs. Hopkins would drive me nuts because I don’t even think he could run 20 yards, it’s like he catches the ball and then just looks to dive. I would give a great ball runner an extra notch. Just a personal thing.
  11. When are we going to realize the Bills have NOTHING at WR1 or WR2? Shakir is a nice WR3 right now, with potential to be a nicer WE3. Samuel isn’t to be relied upon when evaluating the roster for a draft. The Bills NEED one of the top three guys more than the risk of the sixth or worse ranked WR in this draft. God only knows how long this staff will take to bring along a late first round WR.. Higgins and Aiyuk are not top ten WR1s. So where is our Hill, Chase, Jefferson coming from..? Probably the top half of a round 1. May as well go get a sure thing NOW. I’m seeing Odunze #1, Nabers #2, and MHJ #3. I’d call that value if Nabers or Odunze are there after MHJ is taken.
  12. They’re all smooth. The whole lot of them. From Rice to Swann, to Warfield. The guys today all have that silk factor. They’re not surprised that they caught it. How many receivers make the catch and then pause, then go. They’re fast. They’re fearless. Antonio Brown. He would not, and may never, be drafted in the top of a draft. Being a ruthless mauler for the football doesn’t really pop on draft boards. The next Antonio Brown is around, and the Bills should be the one to find him. Hopefully this future hall of famer will have his brain pointing the right direction inside his skull.
  13. I truly couldn’t care less about men’s college bball. When’s high schoolers started going pro again in the mid 90s, things changed. But now, it’s over for good.. even if the best players played four years, the conferences have ruined major college sports for good.
  14. This is what pisses me off most with McD. It was the defense that fails. It’s the offensive that does their job, and is primed to go out and do it again if given another chance. The defense and special teams failed four times when it mattered most and the defensive head coach should’ve been the “genius” is thinks he is. Just a mess and a joke of a scenario.
  15. He’s not a WR1 because he’s slow. He’s an awesome football player and an asset to any team. He’d be misused as a 1. No team schemes better than SF except KC, so anywhere else, BA11 will be less than what he is now. As a 2, his skills and uniqueness shine. Sure, you can force the ball to a slower, solid, disgruntled WR, but let’s not run that one back just yet.
  16. Ahhh, the media is just a sideshow. This isn’t international affairs. There’s no need AT ALL for local sports teams journalism to be lunatics about investigative stuff. A media that interferes in team activities is doing a disservice to the fans, because there’s no way at all it wouldn’t ruin the team. So either a team’s media is gullible and wrong, or invasive and wrong. The important thing is they’re wrong, one way or the other. If the media got into the depths of personal conflict within the organization they’d surely ruin the team.
  17. As the second best QB in the league, I expect Allen to get better every year. With his supporting cast, his numbers should remain, at least. A direct positive impact from not forcing Diggs the ball will be seen—a couple less INTs, a couple more better placed throws, and a happier offensive unit. In top of that, Diggs had a hard time getting wide open against man coverage. He didn’t need much space to make pro catches, but it’s not like he was a dynamic route runner aside from the past two years. The good stuff with his artist footwork routes was years 1 and 2 in Buffalo. Also, he rarely did anything in YAC, so Allen will be hitting more dynamic ball carriers upcoming. Cooks. Cooks could be really fun this season. Like Marshal Faulk fun. The opportunity is there.
  18. Me too. We’ll still lose to mentally tougher teams, but maybe then McDermott will finally be fired.
  19. A peewee coach should be able to scheme a guy open. Know idea why the Bills are always accepting that Josh Allen has to be super man to score a touchdown.
  20. I don’t trust this front office to pick wisely on either of those two positions. But I’d go WR without a doubt.
  21. The DLine and Runningbacks room is a major disappointment based on the usage of high draft picks.
  22. I just hope Allen can do ONE TIME what Mahomes has done practically every single time he’s in a playoff game, especially a Super Bowl - Win. Have the Bills ever won a playoff game in Allen’s era being a dog, home or away? Serious question. There was a serious moment there in KC in 2022 that Allen did all he could. Played like a true winner. But…. Haven’t had that opportunity again, has he. That could realistically be his only shot to get one against that guy. The uber great, like Mahomes, are great because they don’t give up too many opportunities to get beat. So in Allen’s achieving moment (a loss) Mahomes gets a FG with 13 secs left, and throws the game winning TD in OT. Mahomes didn’t exactly ***** the bed huh. He kind of ripped the hearts out of the entire city of Buffalo. Not sure how many examples are needed to finally admit Mahomes is special special, and Allen is just special? I really don’t know. And unless one argues that Mahomes is just more physically gifted that Allen… well then, the mental disparity is even greater, which is where I stand. It’s Mahomes, then it’s Allen, then it’s everyone else. All the other factors like coaching, Kelce, players who drop (which really is hilarious considering the Chiefs lead the league in dropped passes).. fire away. But Allen is the guy that has to beat Mahomes, probably with another head coach (different conversation) and right now the gap between winning and losing against him is widening. ONLY BRADY (2x) and BURROW HAVE BEATEN MAHOMES IN THE PLAYOFFS. He’s 15-3! And we think Josh has it in him despite never doing it. Nice argument. Anyone think Mahomes has it easy with where he is and what he’s doing? I don’t. KC is a circus. Mahomes is other worldly mentally, and Josh isn’t.
  23. In whatever place these freakozoid athletes get to mentally, Allen has no choice but to get there with them. Jordan has it, Tiger has it, Nicklaus had it, Brady and Montana had it. I’m sure Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio had it. Recently, all three Tennis greats have it. It’s all upstairs. There are ways we can tell that a great one has the instinct for winning championships. It’s how they talk, what they say, what they believe is happening, and how they lead the situation to reach the top — total belief in yourself to be the reason your team wins championships. Athletes are insanely confident individuals. Even proven competent pros think they’re the very best at what they do, when they’re clearly not, usually because of physical limitations. Allen has the physical talent to be in the historical sports best-of-the-best group, so he’ll have to find that mental place that gets him there. His, focus, concentration, and determination needs improvement.
  24. The fans have a case, but KS will leave them first.
  25. This drafts picks hit because the Chiefs not have incompetents the running offense and the defense. Why shouldn’t he get blasted for that if he were Beane IN BUFFALO? The thing is he’s in Kansas City and the rings overrule those draft misses,,, because of all his draft hits.
