  1. Because if he does win the competition it would mean that he has improved and come a long way to prove himself...which is a good thing. If Cassel wins the competition it means that he beat out a couple of young QBs that just don't have it...which isn't such a good thing.
  2. EJ EJ EJ EJ EJ EJ I think they almost have to give him one more shot just for the sake of us all knowing what we really have in a young athletic QB that has had time to grow and learn under a veteran. I'm very optimistic but if all we see is what we saw in the Chargers game and the Texans game...then I digress. A little OL upgrade wouldn't hurt....
  3. PLEASE tell me the downside in keeping Freddie? I can't think of one. I don't even like the argument that he's "slowed down". His biggest assets are his vision and his strength and the obvious, maybe underrated, leadership role. Saying we shouldn't keep Freddie makes me question your fanhood.…I don't like throwing those words around but I just can't justify it…. Edit: I realize you said just because of "sentimental reason" but I don't think that would ever be the sole reason we keep him…He will have value standing in our backfield for at least 2 more seasons.
  4. I think he showed a lot of improvement this past season and there is certainly room for more improvement. Calling him a bust doesn't make sense at this point in time. I'm optimistic. I think he will be a huge part of this defense this season. Im recalling a couple of his better games being against the Broncos and the Pack.
  5. No one is forcing you to click on these threads. If it doesn't interest you then move on. If anything, your comment bumped it up. MarQueis Gray is the man. I'm excited to see what he can do for us this season regardless of the role he plays.
  6. I always liked the simple look that teams like the Giants and Colts have which is why I was so happy once the Bills went back to their current uniforms. I have to say, I do think the Seahawk's uniforms are pretty BA. I love the neon green...
  7. Disagree. 90% chance EJ starts. Also, I wouldn't call it a "miracle" if he improves his game.
  8. Lol whatever. I think it comes with being a fan of any team...You try to find things to be optimistic about...the reason we all check into this board everyday. Call it what you want, GO BILLS
  9. I don't like to be a grammar nazi but some of the posts I read are amazing to me. Did you have an aneurysm while you were typing this?
  10. Lol. Come out of the bitter barn. The cup is half full, my friend. Rex is the man.
  11. I try to maintain high standards for myself when in public and I think even I would've been caught laughing at a shirt like that if I was in Blount's position there. It was an in the moment sort of thing. If I was Kraft I would've asked Gronk to be normal for the parade...pump the crowd up, fine...but act like a professional for 1 day...It makes me crack up trying to picture someone like Brady doing what Gronk did lol. He's a child. It was right after the twerking actually. He went from twerking to straight up humping the side of the duck boat. So weird.
  12. A little insight here. I live in Boston and I saw the parade and people were throwing t-shirts at the players. Some also handed them signs (i.e. Edelman holding a sign making fun of Sherman). So even though it looks like Blount is entertained by the t-shirt, in his defense, it should be known that he didn't, by any means, create this t-shirt...he was just laughing with the crowd. (For the record, I haven't been a fan of Blount since he threw that punch in college.) On another note. When Gronkowski's duck boat drove by...he was hanging off the side of it making humping motions with his tongue out which I thought was pretty disturbing considering there are obviously young people in the crowd. I understand that some people love to have a good time and act goofy but there is a line where you show respect for other people and yourself but Gronk obviously doesn't care about that stuff. I wish I had made a sign that said "Revis, come to Buffalo" with Rex's face on it. As you were.
  13. Obviously a challenge for the average person but for NFL receivers? I think a lot could pull this off and I don't see why Sammy wouldn't be capable of it. Would love to see it.
  14. How hard do you think this really is...for NFL receivers to pull off? Previous record was 10 so I cant imagine how many people were trying to break this record. Could Sammy do it? I'm guessing there are multiple receivers that could do this and I would love to see them all come out and compete for the record. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/12250095/drew-brees-helps-odell-beckham-jr-set-guinness-world-record-most-one-handed-catches-1-minute
  15. It starts to get annoying reading posts like this. You have to realize not everyone is on this board every day to catch every thread that comes through. Its probably easier to ignore a thread that you may feel is repetitive. Unless you really need the self-esteem boost...
  16. Dumbest thing I've read so far. I would bet my life savings that Marrone does not believe EJ will not get better. He said yesterday that they've seen improvements. And to say he doesnt have the "propensity to learn from his mistakes" PLEEEEASE. Who are you to say that. You have know idea what EJ is capable of. WAy too bold of a comment. And who is the mystery QB you would like to replace EJ's roster spot with that has so much more potential?
  17. Didn't throw it "right to him"... JJ Watt is a beast. He did the same EXACT thing to Andrew Luck the week after but bobbled it too much to get a pic 6. I completely agree with every word here. Obviously anything is possible but it blows my mind that some people want to give up on him already. SO much potential. I can't wait to watch him improve. He has a good head on his shoulders.
  18. Really think its going to be a beatdown. Raiders will be lucky to get a FG 23-3 Billsies.
  19. Don't need either. Bryce Brown can be solid and Boobie is a monster. Fred is a work horse (see Packers game).
  20. Absolutely. Our offense actually made some great plays to get us in field goal position to tee Carp up. Fred was working hard. The FGs were the reason we won the game. Go Bills!
