  1. I agree, Primetime is nice and all but Sunday night games tend to run pretty late. I'm content going to my Bills bar at noon and drinking beers all afternoon.
  2. Drinking beers, pacing around & yelling at the TV.
  3. And I was having a good afternoon until this. They are BITTER. Typical NYC media jokers. God I hope our team steps up big this year.
  4. After reading this I had to do a little Googling...thought you'd get a good laugh. Greg Cosell is an NFL analyst and a senior producer at NFL Films. He is the nephew of iconic broadcaster Howard Cosell. Cosell is widely regarded by NFL insiders as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted football analysts.
  5. Definitely see you point and obviously its worked out for Big Ben and the Steelers but I still don't take that risk. Also, what was Ben's tack record before getting drafted??
  6. If I was an owner I wouldn't touch someone with the character Jameis Winston has. If you look at all of the great QBs in the league they are all what I like to call "normal people". It's hard to picture him being a bust though given his talent...I'll admit that. I wonder what they could get in a trade for this pick. They could probably swap first rounders with another bad/desperate team, still draft a stud, get another first next year, suck again, have 2 high picks in 2016, get a QB and another stud and be better off in the long run. Ship it.
  7. I hope someone starts a thread every week there is an away game to organize tailgates...if that's not already a thing.
  8. I went to a Bills @ Jets game 2 seasons ago...my only complaint is that MetLife stadium is a hassle to get to and NYC is a zoo to begin with so its not my favorite (ps. Jest fans are the worrrrrst) I went to the Thursday night game @ Miami last season and had a good time mainly because I was in Ft. Lauderdale the whole weekend but the stadium is very close and easy to get from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. The tailgating is good too, nice big parking lots with palm trees. However, once you get into the stadium it's a different story...I've never seen a more trashy group of people all in one place before in my life (upper bowl at least). Just picture drunk white guys with neck tattoos and a grill wearing a visor. I live in Boston, I've been to Gillette/Foxboro for a few concerts but never a Bills game simply because the cheapest tickets are ~$200 annnnd its a 30 minute drive to the suburbs and I'd rather be at a Bills Backers bar downtown. Outside of that, the stadium and the surrounding outdoor mall called "Patriot Place" has a lot of good restaurants and bars. Tennessee...I haven't been to a game but I've been to Nashville twice in the past couple of years and it's a BLAST. The stadium is right downtown and its such a cool city. Great for bachelor parties. I'll be going to the Philly game this year as my girlfriends father has family there. I have a feeling the fans are going to be worse than Miami or Jests.
  9. The Titans had a pretty easy road to the SB I believe after that game
  10. Haha no thanks. I'm content. It doesn't bother me that he's on the team...I was just giving my two cents on what I think about his reactions to the trade and how it went down.
  11. Interesting. Hope McCoy isn't losing too much sleep over this.
  12. Some bigger than others. I'm not really sure how to take the last part...it sounds like an opinion of a player with a huge ego.
  13. I think McCoy is really immature/full of himself. Of course Chip Kelly "respects stars"...The idea that Chip Kelly's ego is running the show over there seems VERY far fetched...The business of football is bigger than any one player (especially a RB). I remember reading an article last year about McCoy being a jerk at a Philly restaurant and completely turned me off to him. http://www.businessinsider.com/lesean-mccoy-left-20-cent-tip-says-restaurant-owner-2014-9
  14. Great point. Blessing in disguise. I don't know that I wanted Orton to be the guy to get us back in the playoffs either, hes obviously not a true Bill. Another reason I'm hopeful for EJ and it sounds like Rex is as well.
  15. Find a Bills bar. If you're in a big enough city there should be at least 1!
  16. I don't see the point...other than a money move. Someone said it will give more teams a chance at the big show...it would also make it that much harder to get there. The garbage teams never make it to the Super Bowl anyways. (I decided to fact check myself. See below.) Two bottom-seeded teams have won the Superbowl since 1990, the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers (against the top-seeded Seattle Seahawks) and the 2010 Green Bay Packers (against the second-seeded Pittsburg Steelers).
  17. This is why I think that EJ has a little bit of an edge on Cassel. After its all said and done, the fact that EJ has the legs makes this offense capable of much more than if Cassel were back there. So unless Cassel is throwing heat seeking missiles all training camp I will be surprised if EJ doesn't get the job. Just a thought. Can you say Flea-flicker?
