I agree. I do see both sides of it. The 47.8% 2 pt. success rate being for all 32 teams could mean that some teams have a much lower success rate and some have a much higher success rate. It's very dependent on each given situation.

Whoa Whoa....That's backwards thinking. Kicking = 0 pts. 10% of the time. Going for 2 = 0 pts. 52.2% of the time. Maybe I missed your point, but that's a very simple way of looking at it. Edit: Also keep in mind they are just testing this out for this season.

I'm downtown and a lot of the people that actually care about football are just annoyed this is a thing. I haven't met anyone that would say they still expect an apology...Most believe Deflategate is real but just keep saying "They would have won the game anyways." or "its not that big of a deal, everyone does it" (Both very weak/useless arguments of course) I think the biggest gripe they have is the extent of the punishments. For the fans on that message board....they sound like your typical South Boston nut jobs! I'm sure everyone of those lunatics has a shamrock tattoo on their arses. Just don't put him on Gronk...or Edelman...I was at that game and he was EXPOSED. That PI in the endzone...when Brady threw the ball I knew it was going to be bad. Duke wasn't ready for it. Side note: I think I noticed last season that Brady would put a lot more hang-time on the ball in certain situations which I think may have thrown off DBs on some plays (including Duke PI play in the endzone...he expected the ball to drop much earlier). Did anyone else notice this or am I over thinking it?

That's what I question when I hear Patriots fans say the NFL is out to get Brady...I would assume the NFL would prefer this entire thing never happened...but it did. There is no logic to build a conspiracy that suggests the NFL (like you said) wants to suspend Brady. Honestly, I'm not ENTIRELY sold on either side of deflategate yet. Very interested to see who ends up with egg on their face.
