  1. https://www.nfl.com/news/nflpa-tells-board-league-has-proposed-35-player-salary-escrow Sorry if posted elsewhere. I was reading another article on how the best thing the NFL had months ago was time. They plodded along pushing forth the draft, keeping things as normal as possible for as long as they could go. But now time is not really on their side with camp just a few weeks away. They don't seem to have a clear cut policy on what will happens with fans and of course the lost revenue is going to hurt the pockets. With the nature of the sport, I am not sure the players will ever agree to anything that. Michael Thomas already tweeted how players would rather sit out.. They have less than 2 months to figure this all out..seems like a tall task. Let's see what the nfl machine comes up with.
  2. I thought his deep ball was pretty good the year before especially with Foster. I remember hearing somewhere that the coaches are not so much concerned as other factors did play a part such as oline breakdown and the receivers not hitting their spot. But of course he will have to improve on his end. You watch I wouldn’t be surprised he he is one of the better deep throwers this year with his work ethic.
  3. I’m wondering if the punishment would have have been worse say they caught taping the ravens chiefs...
  4. Interesting reaction to this by everyone. I’m not bothered by this at all. We have a better team and I don’t see this move as a game changer, just a story line. I could have swore up until now the narrative was McDaniels wanted nothing to do with Newton. And stidham was the new chosen one. Both sides probably needed this. Brady was right to leave the Pats, he is now having the most fun of his life. I’m not sure Newton will respond to the Pats regime and same problem.. not a lot of weapons. they will be a tough out no question because their defense will keep them in games. But our time is now. If you have Super Bowl aspirations then its time to bury the demons. And we will. Our young team is hungry.
  5. I sort of think some people have differing views of a Franchise qb. In that I mean if they don’t see him as elite now that he will never take us anywhere. I’m more than happy with his progress from Year one to Year two and don’t see any reason why he can’t bring stability at the Qb position for the next 15 years. I never even watched one game of Josh in College and I think the accuracy comment is so overblown. If fact half of this board probably convinced me we should have went with the Rosen one. But I love the fact that I never know what the heck he is going to pull off or mess up from one play to another. It’s exciting , fresh and a nice change from the qb play we have seen since Kelly. He passes my eye test and I ultimately think he will have a better career than qbs who have been the faces of other franchises for years like the Stafford, Ryan etc.
  6. Not sure I agree. Not all coordinators become solid head coaches. And some have had amazing pedigrees . then it turns out they are better staying in their positional roles because they can’t lead, or adapt to changing situations. Running a whole program I’m sure is a whole different league than being responsible for one side of the field. Mcd has the locker room, they play for him and I bet you wouldn’t find one Bill on this roster who wouldn’t step up for the coach. He gained a lot of respect for doing more with what most nfl analysts agreed was a joke of a roster two years ago. It’s important for him to continue to grow as much as the players and there is nothing wrong with that, Mcd will be the first to hold himself accountable, that’s his DNA. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t take something away from Houston in areas he could have personally done better. Where he should and will lend his voice is defense and to no surprise our defense is solid each and every year. I’m not saying we give him a pass on offense. I think when he first was hired here, his mantra was to run the ball, play good d. That doesn’t really fly today unless you have Derrick Henry. We need to score points and he knows that. I see the potential with Dabol, his offense is complex, creative, matchups .. it’s plenty ready to score a lot of points. I think at this point we can mostly all agree that the pieces are in place. We have expectations, we should not be going backwards at this point. So now the team results will be magnified in a clear way. If there is an area that is holding us back whether it’s coaching , quarterback play it will be in plain sight.
  7. I think you nailed it. He sees way less snaps.. so nine penalties in nine snaps is atrocious (just kidding) I don’t how how many snaps he was on the field, any site keep track of this? I have no problem getting Sweeney on the field I think he is in line to take over his spot.
  8. Time to relax, Mcd isn’t going lose this team or let this team fall apart. We have serious talent all over the board, I think the difference between us and other teams with expectations is that 1) Mcd keeps the roster humbled and hungry, 2) we clearly don’t have players who play as individuals, this roster has bought into the culture of family. there is not one team we can’t play or keep up with. Time to take the attitude that other teams need to worry about us.
  9. QB B+ I give Allen an A (love where he’s at right now) but brought down right now by our backup position. I hope we don’t need to see them in. Rb- B, an infusion of youth finally. I was more than pleasantly surprised with Devin, managemnt coaches saw something in him and hit. I am excited to see what Moss can do. OL B- continuity here coming back for the new season gives me hope this grade will rise. A big year for Cody but we have the right Oline coach to get him there. WR+, arguably now one of the best groups in the league. The trickle down effect of other teams now deciding who to double, John brown now facing probably other teams second best cb will open up this offense even more. He had an amazing year as our number one guy. Now I feel if one was to get injured we won’t miss a beat. Excited to see our draft picks. TE B, Again I really love the youth movement. I’m very high on Knox and feel Kroft could really help us if he makes it through training camp healthy. Maybe Sweeney takes over for Lee Smith. I know they love his blocking but he kills us with a costly penalties. Where does croom fit? Kinda weird situation with him dating the daughters owner. DL B. I am not going to focus on Oliver arrest, if any staff gets his head on straight it’s ours. I think we have solid not spectacular players but that fits our scheme as we seem to be all about rotation. Probably why we don’t go out and sign a Clowney. This grade may be higher by the end of the season. I think Addison and Jefferson are going to be great signings, throw Epenesa in and we could see some good production. LB B- have to put them into the B at least with Milano and Edmunds on their own. I’ll take a wait and see after that since we have to replace Lorax. Especially if one of our top guys goes down what kind of depth we have behind them? Good think is Mcd knows what he wants in his Lb. DB A+, Great continuity here again. We get a lot of production out of this unit without having to the break the bank yet. I think Josh Norman more than makes this squad but takes over the second starting role. Mcd will have him in a system he is comfortable in and get the most out of them. I think beyond that we got guys who can be the best depth in the league. I’m high on Taron Johnson and Gaines could be solid but they need to stay healthy. I’m a wait and see on Levi right now. P - C I think Bojo was pretty good pinning teams back (at least a stat I thought I read somewhere, I could be wrong) but too inconsistent for my liking. I cringe every time he touches it. PK - B - , I’m all for giving Bass a shot and if he wins the battle so be it. I think we know Hauschka is becoming more limited in range. He hurt us in a few games and came up big for us as well. If this offense is dynamic as I think it can be, we may not be attempting too many fourty yard shots thus keeping him around. Return A- Roberts is great. Dabol- B , he’s actually grown on me. I think his offense can be pretty sweet in its creativity and multiple formations, but his feeling for playcalling needs to be greatly improved. Sometimes it feels like random play selection out of a madden game. frasier A- doing a great job and definatley a better coordinator then head coach. Him and Mcd are great tandem to respond to the other teams. Like the giants game, Barkley ran all over us the first drive. Soon as they got a feel of how they wanted to attack us, we responded big time . coach Mcd - A . Love the guy, his passion, work ethic, vision. Has done a lot with lesser talent roster. Time for him to take the next step. I don’t really mind his challenges , not great but the nfl replay system is about has certain his his challenge in the first place. clock managemnt can be better. one area which I want to be better and I don’t know how to explain this other than This feeling I get of us being out coached by a lesser coach. Like I don’t feel like we should have lost to a Freddy kitchens team or Bill o brien team. Those two are clowns and I’m both instances we did have a chance to put them away. And we didn’t. We have to put the gas to the pedal and keep rolling. anyways good topic
  10. This is seriously the coolest hype practice outside of an official nfl anything I have seen lol
  11. Time to get Aj epenesa some reps on the inside for the first few games.
  12. A subtle way of advertising, nice to see the Bills shirt directly facing the camera. Like cmon Ed this is not part of the process..
  13. Top ten qb and will be quarterbacking here for a long time.
  14. Thanks for your replies everyone! It does seem they are still accepting payment and can be done over a payment plan at zero percent. That's pretty nice as well!
  15. So my cousin and I (from Ontario) really want to get into the season ticket game, I have talked with a Bills sales rep. Not sure how much he is really in the know, I know his job is too sell tickets. We can't really seem to make up our mind for this season? If we get in now, I think unless I am wrong that guarantees us same seats for 2021? If we wait for 2021, will it be harder for us to buy season tickets. I think the excitement and talent level has us in a direct window for the next few years of competing for the Superbowl. As far as I am told, if we get in this year, any games that fans can't attend will be either refunded, or credited until next year. That's ok. But what happens if say only 25% of fans can come. How do they choose? I can't speculate how many season tickets seats are accounted for in the stadium. What happens if we can't cross the border (worst case scenario) but games with fans are being played? Are we out of luck..Maybe not realistic but I am trying to think of all contingencies.. Have any of you long term season ticket holders heard anything news worthy? Your thoughts on season tickets? We probably won't get into club seats or anything like that, but are there any perks for season tickets in the 100 level section seating?
  16. Agree! Hotel prices were nuts, my wife and I found an air bnb and ubered everywhere. So easy, so much fun. All the fans were great to hang out with. That was our first real road game, I don’t count crossing the border to Detroit much of a road trip. Everything will be last minute for us depending on where things are at. either will not do anything or maybe pay out the butt last minute..I don’t know yet..I’m already dealing with nba tickets right now through ticketmaster and it’s a hassle to get money back as currently the game is just postponed.
  17. Nashville a good time of year again!! Hopefully we will be able to attend..
  18. This is awesome if true! We are an exciting young team with playmakers all over the field... it will be good football! Just need the fans now
  19. I agree I love the pick. This team is becoming an infusion of youth and our kicker should be no exception. Hauschka has been fine but it doesn’t take much to mess with a kickers head. He had some struggles last year and we are probably pretty limited with his length. granted I don’t know much about Bass but if he comes out and has a good showing I think we really consider keeping him.
