Just my thoughts because everyone has good points here. He had a great career and still can be a good get for some team. But when a guy who has been so good for so long suddenly gets a bit shaky to the point where I don’t entirely trust him anymore I think it’s time to move on. He has just not been as good as his first year here. The last 2 years were pretty consistent with each other but still a dropoff from 2017. In all fairness to him I don’t think the injury he sustained helped his cause. The family sounds awesome for what they contributed to the community.
There is a risk to go with Bass, but I know he at least has the leg to give us a shot beyond 50. And who’s to say he won’t be as effective or better from under 50? I can’t say for certain Hauska makes a kick anymore that Bass can’t make.
check back with me at playoff time lol
