I agree a bit of sloppiness but I kind of think this is the Texans team. I bet they become an average offense without Hopkins which I think was a huge mistake letting him go. Watson will keep them in games alone but beyond Fuller who drops a bunch of balls I don’t see anyone who is a game breaker. David Johnson looks like he can be solid. I think there will be much pressure on their d to keep them in games. We did it right by adding a playmaker to our wr core not subtracting playmakers. Obrien is going to be the fall of them again and they will probably reward him with some new title. I see a borderline playoff team in my opinion.

Just my thoughts because everyone has good points here. He had a great career and still can be a good get for some team. But when a guy who has been so good for so long suddenly gets a bit shaky to the point where I don’t entirely trust him anymore I think it’s time to move on. He has just not been as good as his first year here. The last 2 years were pretty consistent with each other but still a dropoff from 2017. In all fairness to him I don’t think the injury he sustained helped his cause. The family sounds awesome for what they contributed to the community. There is a risk to go with Bass, but I know he at least has the leg to give us a shot beyond 50. And who’s to say he won’t be as effective or better from under 50? I can’t say for certain Hauska makes a kick anymore that Bass can’t make. check back with me at playoff time lol

I think limiting our range with Hauschka at 50 directly impacts us in game plans. Now we are most likely punting or having to go for it. I go with the big leg. Just my opinion .

I wonder if this is more of a speculative link given to us given our interest in the year past. He hasn’t really done much since 2017. Given his injury history I just don’t see it unless less Beane lands him on a one year prove it deal. Even then I’m not so sure Ansah himself would take that deal.
