Agree. Whilst the whole unit played awful, embarrassing if you will. Benford, Hamlin and Von were the better of the fielded players. The whole DLine was a let down. But Milano and Douglas were brutal. Really think they need to reduce Milano. Dorian is a better option right now.

What about a kick in the nuts, 70% power?! 🤔

Watching that game again is rough on everything except the offense. It’s like scrimmage and Stafford is wearing a red, non contact, jersey. After the Rams first drive, whenever the defense got into the backfield for making a negative play, they missed. The only one who made a was Von. That’s tragic. Defensive line played like ass. But a performance of the game that was just as bad goes to Rasul Douglas. Holy smokes was he atrocious.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Sojourner replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
To some extent I get the logic behind that thinking but sitting in zone literally requires you to be doing one of 2 things, either getting to the quarter back by your default 4 or 5 or sending a blitz that’s usually disguised. That zone was getting eaten alive. As was the man coverage. Exactly like you said, the pass rush was what we needed. Credit to McVay and Stafford, it was a borderline clinic of taking advantage what they were given. I hate to say the word because a lot of factors go into failures but legitimately our defense got abused. Straight taken out to the wood shed or train tracks. Usually can find some respectability in the press conferences Sean does but yesterdays post game left pretty much everything in a questionable state. -
Fall for what crap? Lmao Why are you arguing about that? Ive stated numerous times about having a problem with officiating of the league in this board. That doesn’t mean something can’t be called a penalty because you, me or others believe they should pocket the flag or choke the whistle. It’s a problem and me pointing out something is a penalty, even though I disagree with them calling it by the other ones they miss through a game shouldn’t be an issue.

Didnt say they did or did not. By letter of the law it can be called. Whilst I don’t agree with the decision, it’s still a penalty.

12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
Sojourner replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pressure dude. On all phases from their front 5; inside and out. Some of it was coverage but most was from the line themselves. We had neither. No pressure up front and poor coverage. Recipe for disaster. One has to help the other sometimes. -

There honestly isn’t much of quality that will be available on the DLine position for 2025’s free agency. A lot of it older guys who’ve bounced between teams. The younger guys are going to get substantial pay days and we are probably doing something with Groot. Josh Sweat and Azeez Olujari are really the only guys I’d go after in that pool. Maybe Chase Young but he’s been underwhelming on a one year prove it deal. DT wise? Nandi and Joseph-Day could be worth it. Going to the draft isn’t going to surprise me. -
An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game

The question becomes did he sign off on the run call? I don’t know. His press conference does suggest it though as he talks about it being their “best chance to score”. That’s a problem. Situational awareness non-existent. After watching the game again and, I hate to speculate such, but you get the sense the timeout is one of panic that the play failed. Reverting back to his press conference there is little to no confidence in his reasoning for calling the timeout to begin with… he talks about both options not being great. Again, situational awareness non-existent. Don’t like ragging on anyone, let alone a guy who’s churning out a winning program but we know what we have in our QB/cornerstone of the franchise. Game day coaching errors are something that rears its head more than any fan would like. -

Bingo. Perfectly summed up across the board. You can disagree and agree with the penalty accepting/declining. The run play and use of timeout? Absolutely not. Total blunder. As big a blunder as not making the adjustment on coverage scheme for Puka with a pass rush that’s not getting anywhere near the QB. -

Yeah, not buying it either. GDT would lead you to think otherwise though lol -

Maybe they do a Buffalo? Come out flat on defense because of the division champs hats, t-shirt and confetti? -

Forgive him, he substituted his head for the football and table for the goalpost to reenact the end to this game. -
This year definitely. The only teams I think we would have beaten so far are Jacksonville and Tennessee. Likely a split with Miami at best.

What’s crazier is their tackles are a huge problem and one of the gets an uncalled start on who he’s lined up against nearly every play only to still give up the sack or pressure. -

These false starts by Juwann Taylor are insane. Virtually every play.
