  1. Allen and Dabol destroyed Vic Fangio. Chuck n Duck Dorsey has a lot to prove.
  2. This Wauck guy doesn't look like much. Retired FBI agent who thinks Doug Macgregor is worth listening to? Okie dokie, that's fine, he's entitled to his opinion. I'm sure if I read further I'd find conspiracy theories about globalist capitalist warmongers. Among other talking points the Alt Right has stolen from college Marxists.
  3. We are born with the right to vote for politicians are we not? And we can vote them out every two, four and six years, no?
  4. Coaching then OL. I looked back at JA's game vs. Seattle. 80% completions. 4 TDs, 400+ yards. What happened to the schemes that generated those kinds of numbers? To the coaching that could instill that kind of discipline and belief in the system in Josh? Did it just move to NYC?
  5. So look out for more details/confirmation of this over the next few days...military bases and ammunition producers are exploding/on fire all across Iran, and all on the same night. That's in Isfahan, Tabriz, Karaj, Hamedan and Khoy. May be Ukraine related, may be the Mahsa Amini protesters stepping up their game, may be both, may be neither. Keeping an eye on this.
  6. I watched Cincy's game winning drive vs KC from the regular season. So long as KC doesn't let them convert a 3rd and 21, and Cincy doesn't get 6 cracks at the end zone from inside the 5, they should be ok.
  7. Yuuuuupppp. It's that third mobilization wave of 500,000 Russians that's got me worried. If they're given 3-4 months to train, and if they're matched up with veteran cadres, and if they can leverage streamlined war production for equipment, Ukraine's got a large headache on the way.
  8. Yeah. It gets worse for Frazier. During the Bengals game, he'd change the scheme up completely on certain 3rd Downs. The Bills would run a 3 man Odd Rush with Matt Milano spying Joe Burrow. I don't know what an Odd Rush is, but Burrow's passer rating vs. this alignment was something like 40. However, Frazier only ran it a handful of times. The Bills had more pressures, more negative plays and forced more incompletions rushing 3 with a Spy and dropping 7 than they did with 5 and 6 man blitzes. So you'd figure once your team had given up it's 20th 1st Down in a playoff game, the DC goes ***** it, I'll try whatever is working. But not our Leslie. He went right back to his comfort zone and we were cut to ribbons.
  9. Duct Tape McDermott to a chair in another room and have Josh point to the guy he wants.
  10. Frazier had us in coaching purgatory. His scheme is good enough to win 11-13 games every regular season. But once he hits the post season, he goes nuts and starts adding checks and audibles to every call. Bills players were telling the cover 1 guys he has up to 15 checks per defensive playcall in the post season. And just the post season. When it hits crunch time, he stops letting his guys play, and starts making his guys think. Because he's chasing the perfect defensive call. It's just insane. Then you have McD running down the sidelines, burning timeouts because somebody isn't lined up right, or couldn't get off the field in time. On account of the can't remember which of the 15 checks they're supposed to be in. Which is a knock on McD too, because he must be ok with this ***** on some level. Meanwhile, guys like Joe Burrow, who know Frazier's tendencies just ignore all his attempts at baits and disguises. Then check it down for 5-7 yards, or throw hot to a first class receiver working with a 10 yard cushion.
  11. You may be from the people's republic of limeychusetts Gunner, but on the whole we don't hold that accident against you.
  12. Not to sound like a broken record, but the Cover 1 guys got into this as well. They said that Frazier and McD's defense is tapped out. That the players have mastered all of its schemes and concepts, and all Frazier could do was add more audibles and checks. Bills players were telling them that there were as many as 14 checks per defensive call. That the defense has reached Rex Ryan levels of overcomplicated. Meanwhile, offenses have learned. Since the Bills only have a handful of formations and personnel groupings, pre snap motion is guaranteed to get defenders out of position. We've seen it over and over again, where motion creates coverage mismatches, or pulls run defenders out of the box.
  13. I just finished watching Cover 1's film room on the Bengals game. Dorsey just has to develop a screen game, a short & quick yardage passing game, hot reads for blitz packages, and scheming players open. The Bengals didn't just have answers for the Bills tendencies, they also anticipated how the Bills would respond to the Bengals' gameplan, then gameplanned for that too. Josh doing Superman ***** was the only reason parts of it looked like an NFL football game. It really shook my faith in Dorsey, and turned me on to the idea of ditching Kromer and bringing Greg Roman in as the OL coach.
  14. We joke about matriculating the ball down the field. Turns out if you can actually matriculate the ball down the field in the playoffs... McD is basically hoping to stop you at the goal line.
  15. Off coverage is the hedge if the blitz doesn't get home. Which it probably won't because we're crap at disguising our blitzes, and our LBs aren't exactly skilled pass rushers. Especially late in the season when there's a ton of film on us. Calling a 6 man pressure, with press-man type coverage is very risky. Basically if one of the cover guys gets beat, it should be a TD for the O. That call is Frazier saying that his coverage can't hold up, so our best chance is to try and drop Burrow or force and incompletion/Int. Obviously the easy answer is throw hot to the huge, athletic WR for a new set of downs.
  16. No worries bud, you aren't wrong. Air Raid Hour is a good podcast too, they're part of Cover 1's operation and Cover 1 is ***** awesome.
  17. Frazier's problem is he usually isn't smart enough to hang with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in the post season. The players in his scheme aren't athletic enough to match up against Cincinnati in the post season. Reid and Mahomes carve him up with the playbook and improvization. Burrow and Zach Taylor beat him to death with the playbook and athletic mismatches.
  18. This is the message board equivalent of "No disrespect, but your mother's a *****".
  19. Yeesh. Frazier has to go. Washington has to go. I hope Chuck n Duck Dorsey gets hired away so we can get somebody new there. The OL needs to be ripped down to the studs and rebuilt. The D needs new ideas and a new scheme.
  20. Agreed. There was no way we could content in the post-season, as mediocre as we were in the trenches on offense, and as inconsistent as were in the trenches on defense without Von. It would have been one hell of a fluke. O-line personel need a shake up. Kromer needs a kick in the ass and Saffold needs to pay back the wages he stole and get the ***** out of town. Dline coaching needs to improve too, up to and including giving Washington his pink slip. We've got 21 UFA and the D needs new ideas and new schemes. Frazier has the perfect defense for carving up the field in the regular season, but come the playoffs we fall on our faces. We need a new DC who doesn't rely so heavily on disguising zone coverages, and can develop some creative blitzes. Beat people up, the post-season isn't officiated the same way as the regular season.
  21. Daboll was more creative, more unpredictable, more pragmatic... and he could force Josh to play within the structure of the offense. Chuck n Duck Dorsey... jesus christ... does he even read the self-scouting reports from the Offensive Quality Control staff?
  22. 1. Fire Frazier. 2. Fortify the o line. 3. Repeat step 2. I'd be alright with us taking Brian Flores from Pittsburgh. At least we'll go down swinging.
