  1. I believe the AFC was much weaker in 2017 which made it easier to make playoffs. Since 2017 many AFC teams. have got stronger with the Chiefs not ready for prime time yet (i.e. Teicher: Andy Reid may not be right coach for Chiefs after latest playoff collapse)
  2. IMO it is hard to judge with their current staff. They need to hire someone experienced in kicking to work with just kickers. They also need to do an extensive workup on his physical state since he took several shots last year, some cheap ones. I can see a Gregg Williams type of opposition coach to instruct player "sweep the leg" knowing he has physical issues.
  3. Most interesting part to me was Mindfly body armor camera used by UFL officials. There are so many bad calls in NFL that this would allow NFL to train their over priced part time zebras to correctly make calls. https://www.sportsvideo.org/2024/06/07/espn-deploys-pair-of-mindfly-bodycams-on-referees-for-ufl-semifinal-matchup-on-abc/
  4. Worst: Burrow's injuries from prior years take their toll as he struggles to regain form and the Bengals slip to 7-10 AND Higgins refuses to comeback to CIN until last possible week to collect his year's credit.
  5. We added a cover over bird feed area and having become regular place for birds to feed and I have seen 8 birds at once drinking from my dog's water-bowl. One day I saw a bird dancing on top of the cover. Some of the birds actual land on porch railing by side porch railing looking for me to feed them when bread is gone. I can toss bread to some of the birds. Bread is very popular with all of the birds for it seems to be quick carbs for them. We mostly feed whole wheat products with occasional white bread crust or some other leftover bread or pastries. We have been buying suet in bulk now and feeding birds that but this has has eliminated food for some of the ground feeders. We have three suet feeders one which is used to hold pieces from other ones who they are mostly eaten. It is amusing to see the suet cakes twirl as birds land on it. We stopped feeding seed mixes because something was dumping seeds to get the few sunflower seeds in it. It even happened when I had sunflowers in a separate bowl. It might be a squirrel but on days when I monitored it closely I did not see a squirrel. Current customers are chickadees and sparrows who have nests set up nearby, blackbirds (2 are regular but their friends visit), woodpeckers of different types and sizes, a pair of morning doves who set up a nest on our back porch under a gazebo, a catbird which I never saw its mate, cardinals and occasional blue jay. In the fall a crab apple cherry tree is filled with robins and the birds nibble at both varieties of blackberries in our yard, shrub and vine. The robins never visit us except when crab tree has fruit. My little birds can be very aggressive in groups. There was a period of time when my car was not being used so they made a nest under it. My dog was started taking interest in and I told her to leave it alone assuming it was the birds but I was wrong - when I finally moved car and cleaned up debris I found a dead Norway rat with its eyes poked out. There are some birds of prey in area. I saw an eagle flying about my feeding area and a hawk landing on back deck porch railing but I have not seen any birds caught by them.
  6. Issue on stoke was determined to not be heart clogged or problem with blood not getting to brain via neck which are most common causes. Stroke Doctor thinks it could be piece of plaque which broke off and went to brain or heart rhythm issue. Doctor recommended specialist insert device size of quarter to be implanted under skin (outpatient) and for five years monitor and transmit it to hospital where it will be monitored.
  7. Hopefully the and prosecutor and judge is are old school people looking to make an example and own suites in Dallass Eye to the sky stadium.

  12. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/terry-mcdonough-wins-3-million-from-cardinals-in-arbitration I am very surprised by this. NFL executives are paid a lot of money but they are handcuffed as well..
  13. You are a genius in Marketing! Anyone notice @Einstein after Russ Brandon left Bills? Now we see where the ideas for UFL are coming from.
  14. Sent you message to get around issue. I and a number of people have used it.
  15. Very appropriate to this. They were not open about the PSLs and how seniority would be discarded with seat selection before they went for funding for they knew it could alter the decision and might have put restrictions by the agency renting to new stadium to them.
  16. "Fleeing Buffalo Politics Bills" would be better name. What a waste of taxpayer money.
  17. Reminds me of the Auction a Nurse for weekend pass to Tokyo on M*A*S*H - rigged. IF they are doing it I'd be surprised they do not auction it off to highest bidder.
  18. I have never watched a full college game and never went to games when I went to UB.

  20. Neilson numbers may be more important to keep broadcasters continuing to show games. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/ufl-attendance-gets-off-to-so-so-start UFL attendance gets off to so-so start (NBC is not broadcasting partner so do not expect soft treatment) UFL’s debut had so-so attendance, to no surprise. Via Mike Mitchell of SI.com, the opening game between the Birmingham Stallions and the Arlington Renegade attracted 14,153 fans. The second game, featuring the Michigan Panthers hosting the St. Louis Battlehawks, drew 9,444 to Ford Field. NFL analyst points out reasons for "so-so" attendance at UFL season opener https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/news-nfl-analyst-points-reasons-so-so-attendance-ufl-season-opener The official attendance figure for the UFL’s opening game at Choctaw Stadium between the @USFLStallions and @XFLRenegades is 14,153.
  21. Any official and unofficial attendance figures? I am expecting XFL to cite ticket sales but many may not be used as has happened in past in alternate leagues. Cameras by broadcasters appeared to avoid showing sections of stadiums with few fans but I only saw FOX since I do not pay for ESPN.
  22. I was amazed on number of older vets. I was expecting players who could not stick to regular roster trying to do what Kurt Warner did - use alternate leagues to increase his skill set - but not players in 30s.
  23. Some of the shows at amusement parks we went to as kids. The one on Grand Island Fantasy Island (loved the mouse) and Crystal Beach.
