  1. Shakir has been working with Eric Moulds during offseason and occasionally during season. Talked to Eric Moulds and he is very proud of his student. Shakir was basically an unknown for most of his career and game plans will now factor him in coverage schemes.
  2. Previous thread on this was removed. There were also two sites which were non-professional made sites one which was copying other sites for content and many tags to try to being GoFundMe site found more often on search sites; they are gone. Initial site stated he was from Buffalo but he is from Hollywood, Florida. Somebody was trying to amp donations. Today there is article on CBS News: Vehicle from Sunday's deadly shooting near Hard Rock Stadium found https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/vehicle-from-sundays-deadly-shooting-near-hard-rock-stadium-found/
  3. They could lose some of the rookie camps and add days to other camps plus have an additional mandatory camp for all draftees to be taught economics, NFL rules, etc. I think such an event would be popular with TV and fans. Troy Vincent and JP Losman could be a guest lecturers on consequences of opening mouth to veterans.
  4. Well it is a leap year (or a hurdle year for Josh) February so there is an extra day. Hiring season should start on Superbowl Sunday so everyone can be together and Superbowl coaches can interview after Superbowl and on Monday. They would probably have to move draft, etc later in year.
  5. You mean 2/3 of February. Superbowl is on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
  6. Talking heads sound like many posters on the wall.
  7. I have suggested some of that but part of the argument is coaches are necessary so GM and scouts need input from coaching staff on what type of players to be looking for. You could argue that for parity teams firing coaches need more time finding staff.
  8. I'd agree if they were loading their muskets to shoot the vermin.
  9. According to post on Fins board they needed frequent flier miles.
  10. I think KC forum would be more fun for him.
  11. Dunne used to be a respected writer but apparently soiled himself to drive clicks.
  12. Modern press has eliminated editors with self-publishing software which often does not have spell check capabilities. In college I had long discussion with contributor on pruning of his article to fit in newspaper with me removing duplicate phrases and such telling him this was not an English composition assignment where he had to hit so many words. Modern press has eliminated that as well. According to current generation spelling is not important, grammar is not important and independent sources are not important.
  13. Rapp's interception reminded me of Hyde's playoff interception of Mac Jones. Opponent player was covered by another Bills player and safety came in and grabbed ball thrown from AFCE QB.
  14. And those which disagreed with mob were constantly bashed.
  15. I have had surgery with Mayo Clinic. I found Cleveland Clinic better on recovery time. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/21793-pcl-posterior-cruciate-ligament-tears Have him diagnosed by actual doctor with actual tests before mob diagnosis.
  16. IMO no matter what they do they need more byes but not necessarily more games played by players. Warm weather South and west teams get most of Superbowls. Portion of each Superbowl should go into NFL fund to improve stadiums - turf, cameras and roofs.
  17. League talked about having longer season with more byes but also players being limited to certain number of games (sounds like Baseball) but NFLPA objected to it for players would not get paid each week whether they played or not. It is not just about NFL greed.
  18. Sounds like a real Einstein. Probably rich too.
  19. Amazon is doing same thing adding ads to movies after for years advertising ad free movies.
