  1. I think some team takes Murray in the second or early 3rd.
  2. its got to be Pegula. No one else has the wealth to move ahead quickly and the name recognition and organization to get it done fast. Trump is too controversial, Jacobs owns a franchise in another city. Toronto could not be an option this quickly.
  3. Murray's ceiling is Drew Brees, his floor is Colt McCoy. He will be gone before the 4th round. I have watched every game he played but its very difficult to predit what kind of pro he will be. I suspect we wont draft him and just give EJ one more year to prove himself. If EJ sucks this year than next year its a QB in the first round.
  4. 2 TE sets with Chandler would give us some size to catch the football
  5. you're correct, I think he will go on the PuP list. THus EJ gets the year to prove himself, but if there is no improvement than he can compete with Murray the next year
  6. This pick would not surprise me at all. Given the success of Russell Wilson and Drew Brees and that Buddy is still scouting the SEC for us.
  7. Archie Manning was one of the greatest QB of all time, but he played for a terrible organization and a team devoid of talent. This was before the salary cap leveled the playing field. Football is a team sport and coaching plays a huge role.
  8. signed with Giants, another poor personnel move by the front office
  9. Steve Tasker of course. He knows the most about the bills. He was the star at northwestern when I was there
  10. We have to be able to stop the run. Dareus needs to step up this year and Bradham needs to stay away from the weed
  11. I was at that game with my dad. I'll never forget the kickoff return by Herb Mulkey to open the stadium.
  12. I think this sums up my feelings exactly. No way does Spiller come close to 6 yards/carry this year. I think the Defense will be much improved, but the offense could take a step back with a rookie QB and the loss of Levitre.
  13. I think the quick release, dink and dunk offense hid deficiencies in the oline. Deficiencies like Glenn's inability to pass block speed rushers etc. I am concerned without Levitre and with an offense that wants to throw downfield (farther than Fitz threw) we will see many QB sacks and pressures. Last year we did mostly 3 and 5 step drops. This covers up pass blocking deficiencies.
  14. You must be related to Buddy, as there is no other explanation for your constant defense of his abysmal tenure as bills gm
  15. Thank God and thus ends an era of bills GM incompetence. Lets hope Whaley knows what he is doing
  16. The reason posters are happy with this move is simple... Shepherd sucked in any scheme Maybe this means Takeo will be signed for depth
  17. We are desperate for an impact TE. All the top TE are gone. Chandler will probably start year on pup list. TE is a critical position for a young QB
  18. If I am wrong, you get the right to call me an ignorant fool.
  19. After further study I guarantee the bills pick Nassib at #8. Buddy won't risk a trade down.
  20. While I agree with you completely, I am quite certain the bills will take a QB at eight. I think the smartest move would be to trade down.
  21. I agree with this except they will not take a pass rusher, it wil be a CB in the to 4 picks. Buddy seems to like Mark Anderson as OLB pass rusher
  22. QB, WR, TE,CB After listening to all the buddy interviews he seems to feel our roster is OK at G and LB. ( LB likely now includes Mark Anderson and Mario Williams as 3-4 pass rushers) I think these will be the positions of our top 4 picks. No doubt QB at 8 (Nassib or Barkley) then WR, CB,TE not necessarily in that order.
  23. I think this makes it less likely that we will be drafting a safety high. Searcy, Byrd, Williams, Scott That is 4 safetys on the roster (although Scott could be considered a small LB)
