    how much money does this save? hopefully it clears up funds to give long term extensions to worthy players. I think there will be other surprises.

    I think Shepherd is mediocre and is at most a 2 down LB. I think that Morrison should start at MLB with Moats at SLB and Barnett at WLB. I also think that Mark Anderson can't play the run and that Kelsay is better in run support, and may replace him in running situations.

    No way Kelsay gets cut. He is better in run support than Anderson. I think Carrington stays as well.

    Byrd and Levitre will both be in the top 5 salaries for their positions. Also we don't want to lose young talent like Carrington and Heard ( I know their talent level is debatable)

    They will all be UFA at the end of the season. Levitre and Byrd will get huge offers on the market. They are both more highly ranked than Steve Johnson. There is not an endless supply of money to sign everyone and keeping your young homegrown players is essential.

    We may have to shed some salary now to get this done. Potential cuts that would save money include: Spencer Johnson, T. Mcgee, Dwan Edwards, Brad Smith. None of these names would surprise me.

    Unfortunately you may be correct. I predict if our only plan at LT is Hairston, this will be an unmitigated disaster. We also lack depth at OT. Hopefully a qulity veteran OT surfaces on the market (Bryant Mckinnie last year)

    I hope that is not true because I want Reiff. We can not go into the season with Hairston as our LT. I would be OK with Floyd or Kuechly, but picking a CB at 10 would be as bad a pick as Spiller.

    Why do you love this guy so much? Did you go to Texas A&m? Are you a relative? I would take him in the 3rd round but I know he will go in the first by a desperate team like the Dolphins or Browns.

    Bills at san francisco second game of monday night doubleheader opening weekend. It starts at 10 pm est so this game is unlikely to occur. Most likely will have 2 west coast teams to improve tv ratings.

    Tannehill will go no later than #8 to Miami. I don't see us trading up ahead of miami. IMHO Tannehill is a poor man's Jake Locker. He has athleticism, but lacks experience at QB position. People see "potential huge upside" I think he is a risky pick at 10 and is overvalued.

    I agree. I don't see any team interested in trading up for # 10. Who would be the trade up target?

    Thanks for the bump and sorry about the spelling. I personally don't think Tannehill is worth # 10. I watched him play against NU in the bowl game and he didn't look that good against a mediocre defense. At 10 the OT and WR options are overvalued and the bills are looking for a young QB to groom. Hopefully he will already be gone by then.

    Unfortunately, he will probably get more. I was just speculating, but I feel it is an extremely likely outcome. I do not want us to go into the season with Hairston as our starter. He has shown nothing.

    The problem is there are no great 4-3 DE available in the draft. Coples is the best, but he has questionable motivation. The answer of course is to sign Mario Williams.

    I can see him getting a 5 year 30 million dollar contract. I think we will most likely draft Rielly Reif (if available) or more likely Jonathan Martin OT stanford. There is no way we can go into the season with Hairston as our starter at LT.

    I hope we resign Chandler. The TE draft class is very weak. In FA we could look at John Carlson, but I think the Bills don't want to spend resources on the TE position. I think Gailey would rather have another receiver. Look for the bills to sign Harry Douglas WR falcons.

    someone will want to trade up for Tannehill QB. I think that is our best move to trade down.
