You may be right. Unfortunately I think we are going to waste our first round pick on Cam Newton. The question than becomes assuming we are drafting number 1 next year, Do you take Andrew Luck a year after taking a slowly developing Cam Newton?

Good teams make low risk moves that sometimes are successful. The bills have wasted alot of picks on QBs that have failed. Todd Collins, RJ, Edwards, Losman. I think Claussen has potential.

Carolina will probably draft a QB in the first round so they have no use for Clausen. We have nothing behind Fitzpatrick. Brohm and Levi Brown are not NFL players. Claussen could develop into a solid player over time.

Agreed. ILB is the greatest need. Buddy has already stated that he is pleased with out OLB. He is also pleased with our DT. We may be able to pick up the ILB from the packers Nick Barnett who will be cut.

Spiller is the next Maybin. He is too small for the NFL. A terrible pick and Buddy should be fired for taking him.

If his skill set translates, he should be moved to DE. Stroud will likely be cut and can't play DE. Carrington has potential and Edwards is likely to return. We then need to add a large NT like Shaun Rogers or other massive size NT. 350 lbs of run stuffing

These guys fill extreme positions of need. The falcons have many ufa and may not be able to resign clabo. Miller is rumored to want out of oakland. Watch Clabo tomorrow. He is exactly what we need on the line big and nasty, tough as nails and high character.

With Buddy in charge I am very pessimistic on the future of the bills. We are keeping an incompetent def coordinator and likely losing Whitner and Poz. Our defense will again be in the bottom of the league. We will keep Kelsay and Kyle Williams, but play them out of there natural positions. I expect another mediocre draft and no impact free agent signings. The good news is we may be picking high enough to get Luck and hopefully Buddy will get fired and a competent GM will be brought in.

He screwed up the first round last year. The only move that I give Nix credit for is hiring Gailey. I think Gailey is an excellent offensive mind. Unfortunately Gailey and Nix are responsible for hiring for a very poor hire for defensive coordinator

Proof that Nix is incompetent?? His record speaks for itself. Newton like Akili runs an offense that is not pro style. In the pros with bigger faster defenders, he won't be able to run for all those yards. He doesn't have Vick's speed.

I agree. Jarius Byrd is by far the most overrated player on the team. He makes no plays. I posted this back about a month ago and I was flamed by the board. Now most educated observers can see him for what he is. A mediocre safety who made a bunch of pics last year.

Ryan Mallett reminds me of Ryan Leaf. Big and Not mobile, questionable intangibles. We could definitely use a LT and move Bell to RT. Unfortunately there are no dominant tackles in this years draft.

Nick is right . Nix needs to go. He has no clue how to build a team. He did not bring in sufficient talent and had a mediocre draft with little production from the picks. Kelsay should be getting paid what Ryan Denney is getting paid in Houston -veteran minimum. He is no better than Denney.
