  1. I mean this post was written after the chiefs game based on a trend of the entire season at that point in time. Of course Sam Martin had played well the last four games. I’ll admit it. But he was bad for the first 13 games of the season outside of the first Miami matchup. And Bass is another matter. I feel like McD does not have confidence in him at all and that scares me. Bass has also had a pretty poor season not just by his standards, but all kicker standards. I think you need to understand the context of when items are written.
  2. Hope the patriots truly sink into irrelevancy now. Although they probably hire Vrabel who will be a great fit up there
  3. He may very well do that. But based on the way he plays, I think he is in the prime of his career right now. Don’t think it’s reasonable to expect the longevity of Brady or even Manning for Josh based on all the hits he takes. I hope I’m wrong.
  4. The only thing I think you can say is you could definitely hear the helmet to helmet hit
  5. “Go Bills!”can mean anything from “hello”, to “goodbye”, to “F*ck Off!”
  6. Worried about all the hype going for the Bills and Steelers flying under the radar. I think they are gonna want to punch us in the mouth and grind us down. Josh cannot make mistakes in this game when Pittsburgh plays near mistake free football.
  7. Surprising that Babylon Spector got the of over Dorian Williams once Dodson went down
  8. Unlike the wind game against the Pats a couple years ago, I hope we attempt to throw the ball through the air. That first half against the Pats we refused to even attempt to throw which was foolish when you have someone like Josh.
  9. Nope. We missed on it twice last night. Miami was selling out to it. We need a counter if we get that look again. Maybe a quick pitch to someone in motion or a TE sneaking out from a faux block
  10. We did last year in Miami too by your criteria. But we still lost. What’s on the scoreboard matters more. Simply put, we need to play smarter ball and take advantage of opportunities
  11. The amount of miscommunications between Gabe and Josh has been alarming this year. It straight up cost us the game in Philly and impacted other games big time. Gabe gots to go
  12. Not to mention it wasn’t even a close call. It was obvious.
  13. Number 4 for Miami put in a horrible effort there. Didn’t even touch Josh. Probably could have stopped him 2 yards short if he got his head in there
  14. Von was absolutely useless again. Didn’t notice him do anything tonight. He needs to ride the pine the rest of the season. Jonathan Kingsley is better at this point I think it’s gonna be a pretty tight game. I’m thinking 21-13 bills
  15. Makes up for the Gabe Davis int that bounced off his hands against Denver.
  16. He was still dressed which makes me think he could play if called upon. I think they were just being extra cautious with him.
  17. Josh I would say McD but I thought the TO before the half was stupid as well as the plan going into our last 4th and 1 definitely not Cook
  18. Like everyone says the difference in talent in the NFL isn’t much. Most games are close. The ones that aren’t are when teams shoot them selves in the foot either with turnovers, penalties or missed opportunities. Our game against Dallas, IMO, was evident of this. We get a couple penalties to sustain drives that result in TDs and the outcome of that game was drastically different than if those didn’t happen. The first Miami game this season our offense was flawless. Josh had a perfect passer rating, Diggs was awesome and our offense couldn’t be stopped. Tonight our offense could move the ball but just made some boneheaded plays that didn’t sustain drives or score points for us. The following list of plays could have drastically changed the outcome of the game. 1)Josh’s first pick. Dumb play. -3 points. 2)Josh’s second pick. Guy in the flat was open to sustain drive. luckily it was fourth down and actually cost the dolphins yards 3) Josh misses bomb to Diggs. We punt on that drive. -7 points 4) Same drive right before half. McD takes a TO on 3rd and 5 with just under a minute left. Cook drops another uncontested TD. Then Josh doesn’t throw it to the EZ. Out of time. -7 points. 5) Josh fumbles on the dolphins 20 yard line on third down. -3 points. Those plays cost us 20 points right there. That puts us up 27-14 going into the fourth quarter (maybe) and throws the dolphins out of rhythm offensively and forces them to start throwing. Our defense is built to play with a lead, not from behind. We made none of these errors in our first meeting. We played mistake free and played complimentary football. Luckily Harty started us out with that punt return. And Josh was able to get a Td and kill a ton of clock and all of Miami’s TOs. PS. We need a surprise pass play out of the tush push (to a leaking TE) when teams like Miami commit everything to stop it.
  19. Dang. Miami had been stacking the line all night. Should have tried to throw it there
  20. Run a fake tush push and throw the ball here to a TE leaking out?
