  1. That was second down, not fourth. Watson wasn’t also about to take a 20 yard loss to put us in FG territory. So no.
  2. You want it both ways bro. First it’s no one open, now it’s “they are open but they aren’t past the sticks.” Allen taking a sack is worse than Allen throwing the football. Allen should have thrown the football instead of taking a sack. Period.
  3. So if they thought their plan would work and instead it sucked, let’s be confident in their next plan because maybe that will work? Just trying to figure out the thought process here.
  4. Yeah man, if the Texans kicked a FG and hit it and put us down 6, I wouldn’t have patted Josh on the head for the 20 yard loss. How about throwing to a receiver who isn’t “Wyoming-open” and trying to draw a PI? Did you and Josh think that on 4th and 23 someone was going to get wide open just past the sticks?
  5. Making something happen? He lost 40 yards in 2 plays when we needed a field goal to tie with 3 minutes left. He tried to make LOSING happen. Same thing with that lateral. Just a completely idiotic play at the absolute wrong time. Josh played like it was the last play of the game for half of the second half. He was absolutely out of control.
  6. Your last line is INCREDIBLY ironic. We had a better rushing average last night than the Texans. Your takeaway from last night is that Hopkins was the difference between Josh and Deshaun’s performance. I don’t think anything more has to be said except we might have watched different games.
  7. Oh no no no no you don’t. You don’t get to hand wave half of Josh’s crap games all 2019 because he delivered at the end and pulled out the win, and THEN say what did Watson do in the first Q. No no no.
  8. Throw the ball at a receiver would be my first desire. It’s just situational football. If we don’t convert on 4th and 23 (I know, I know, very unlikely) the only chance we have is if we force a 3 and out with all 3 timeouts. Which is what happened. Except Josh took another 20 yards on top of it, which almost put them in FG range. Allowing 3 points there basically ends the game. BOB’s idiocy to attempt the sneak aside, that sack was really stupid. Especially when it came after the intentional grounding idiocy which took us out of FG range in the first place. Its LOSING football. It’s bad.
  9. Uh, yes? We probably win 30-0. Watson put the entire Texans team on his back. Josh wasn’t going to do that down 16 points. I just did. That’s a tough stat to defend.
  10. I actually haven’t been that strong of an Allen critic. I really liked his play on the whole from NE1 onward. I just critiqued the things worth critiquing, like a few big missed passes, dumb decisions, etc. And no, it’s no exaggerated. There’s 15 pages of arguments that “our defense didn’t carry us.” It’s really all out there.
  11. There were a bunch of discussions about how the Bills offense was the reason we were winning games and the defense wasn't carrying us at all. Prior to yesterday ofc.
  12. Josh took a 20 yard sack on 4th and 23 that almost ended the game except BOB inexplicably went for it on 4th and 1.
  13. That’s my point. He gave his last few years for this team for nothing.
  14. There’s a league of difference between “good” and doing idiotic crap like that. Kid doesn’t know how to play the game. It’s one of a long list of blunders from that game.
  15. Josh tried to throw 2 tonight. Unfortunately, they hit the DB’s in the chest so perfectly that they got startled and dropped them. Josh figured he’d make up for it by just dropping the football untouched.
  16. The big picture is we are eliminated from postseason contention, our QB puked on his shoes, and we have a much more difficult schedule next year. The big picture SUCKS.
