  1. 😳 are you saying……no, that couldn’t be! This kind of stuff has to be on the up and up, like the old wrestlers who would go under the ring before coming out all bloody. I still text Bills stuff with a buddy I met in 4th grade and he SWORE the wrestling was all real. How people become so blind to such obvious stuff kinda fascinates me. EDIT: I’m not saying whatever is going to happen is fake, but is there a shadier form of entertainment than this? It’s not exactly as far fetched as NFL games being rigged because they want certain outcomes. .
  2. My wife went from calling it “working from home” to “living at work”. There is a certain amount of truth to that.
  3. I have a tennis buddy in Atlanta who is an Indian guy from Malaysia. He still has family and a home there and spends about half his year in Malaysia. Somehow we get talking about food, and it always sounds so simple and delicious. It’s the same proteins, fish and chicken mostly, but how it’s prepared is very different from how we cook. I’ve tried to make some of his dishes but I can never find all the ingredients. He turned me on to a Nam Dae Mun farmers market near my house. What an eye opener! Just last weekend I needed I needed jicama for some strange reason. I tried two Publix locations and a Sprouts with no luck, so I went to that market. Jicama? Sure, what kind do you want? Want a coconut? They have 5 different types. It’s where I found dark soy sauce when I needed it. It’s awesome! They have big clear labels telling you what everything is, because I didn’t even recognize half of it. They even have live crabs in the seafood section. THIS is where you shop to make that kind of food. .
  4. If YOU snooze at the office, somebody will notice and sneak in to mess with your stuff and poop on your desk. Remain alert and vigilant at all times! My favorite job ever could be done equally well at home or at the office. It was the happiest 13 working years of my life. I was at the office at least for a couple hours almost every day. I loved the flexibility that it wasn’t necessary, but I learned a lot from the other people, and had some things I could offer to help others. It’s hard to get better in a vacuum.
  5. My wife’s employer had a hard time getting everyone back into the office. A lot of people just didn’t want to come back in, and some had moved out of state. That’s pretty bold! 😂 The young people who said they can do everything they need to do from the comfort of their home don’t know what they don’t know. You learn and grow by being exposed to people with more experience and different points of view. That does not happen to the same extent virtually. When I retired I did miss the routine of getting up, going in and interacting with everybody. There is a comfort to that routine, even when I hated my job for a couple years. I left the job, but I missed the people. My Golden Retrievers are good listeners, but not much into full conversations.
  6. I lived in the general Tampa market (Sarasota) during the Dungy/Gruden era. Sports talk radio had a former Buc hosting who was still close to many of the players dealing with Gruden. Many, many tales of him being a person you don’t dare trust. He will lie to your face and think nothing of it. I’m sure he can be on his best behavior sometimes, but that does not define who he truly is. Our sons’ participated in the same 7 on 7 tournaments at USF. That smug little &^%$# walked around like he owned the joint. He is a person who is very easy to dislike.
  7. If it’s on Netflix with no additional cost, I’d be curious enough to check it out. I had no idea how it was being viewed, and it snuck up on me that it’s tomorrow. It’s one of those things they talk about that never seems to come. I actually have no idea who the other guy is. I didn’t care enough to retain much of what I heard. 🤷‍♂️
  8. In our first house the guy next door would buy all the Mike Tyson PPV fights. We’d go over very early, because the fights were often over within the first 15 seconds. That was “a thing”, just like watching Tiger in a Major for a while. Must see TV, indeed.
  9. I think just like QB’s, these younger WRs have been doing 7 on 7 camps for thousands of reps before they ever even get to college now. I know my kids did 7 on 7 camps at USF (Tampa) that brought teams from all over, and it was like a giant football summer camp for QBs, WRs, TEs and DBs. I think they are generally much more prepared than in years/decades past.
  10. “We’re only here so we don’t get fined.”
  11. Hey @teef! It looks like it worked! Well played, sir!
  12. To an extent, and when needed. Of course. Is there another point?
  13. Again, to MY point, it will help when he gets his pass catchers back. He can run, but he doesn’t have to run if he has better passing options. I’m not looking to bubble wrap him, I’m being hopeful and smart.
  14. I think if we can magically heal our pass catchers, Josh will be fine again…..until he needs to be Superman.
  15. I’ll be honest, I feel the play calling is wonky at times. It seems like we were forcing the ball to Samuel last game, and I’m not sure if that was a need. It seemed forced, rather than opportunistic. I think Kincaid can be used all over the field, but it would help a LOT if we had some other healthy options. I still see a speedy deep threat as a priority this offseason, and maybe that helps open things up. When we get Cooper and Coleman back 100% things could look very different. I like the way the RB’s are being used. The WR’s have faced a lot of injuries. The TE’s seem like we could be getting more. Someone smarter than me with All-22 needs to figure out why that is. I believe in Kincaid’s talent. Oh, and I don’t hear any of the WNY media, so I wasn’t aware that was a theme.
  16. Where did you get the idea that you get to speak for everybody? You just want to whine enough for all of us. The best way to get to a Super Bowl is to win your division. If we don’t win the Super Bowl, I’m a big boy and I can live with that. It would be a fun ride to get to the AFCCG game again, and advance. But I’ll wait and see how things turn out rather than complain about things that have not yet come to be. .
  17. I’m not a uniform guy (and I don’t care much who the announcers are), but that looks like THE Bills uniform to me. Please scrap all red or all blue.
  18. It’s incredibly disturbing, and I saw as little as possible. Absolutely horrific! We have a bunch of dogs and the associated dog walkers in our neighborhood, and there is no dog or group of dogs I would be in the least way afraid of. (A few of their owners give me pause, but that is another issue. 😊) There is a reason I don’t take my dogs to a dog park. If anything bad happened, my Goldens would be the victim. I just don’t trust all those other dogs or their owners.

    Poop Assessment

Has anyone done a wellness check? That would wreck The Machine that is me!
  20. I’m actually quite good with that! I wouldn’t mind spending a week in Nashville, so in a way this is working out nicely for him. 😊 .
  21. Well, that’s, umm, a lovely visual there. Thank you so much for that.
  22. Von gets a killer rush here, until he gets dragged down by the right shoulder by the guy he was trampling. That’s one way to open the passing lane.
  23. That pass should have added another 50-60 yards and another TD. That one hurt, but Kincaid got himself wide open. Trying to make comparisons like this is difficult because each situation has so many variables. I am not down on Kincaid at all, I can’t wait to get him back. More weapons never hurts, we just need to use them right.
  24. Jerry Jones would wait, so we should act while we can get it done more affordably. WWJJD? Don’t do that. .
  25. IDK, I don’t think I’m the one doing most of the complaining.
