I had an opportunity to be with someone recently who was a lawyer........and I passed. I chose a dog-groomer instead. I'm not in this for money.......................................................................................yet.

I'm back on this topic........ If you haven't had good pour-over coffee, find a local shop that does it and try it. I have my own kettle and glass filter holder.......it's awesome stuff.

Costco Colombian is always good. I currently buy Eight-O-Clock whole bean Colombian and grind myself. Good price in the larger bags. If you really want to spend money, Intelligentsia is pretty darn good. But honestly, if I am buying local whole beans, I go to the nearest coffee shop that roasts in-house and ask for whatever was roasted the day before. Don't care about provenance, just freshness.

Let's talk about just who would be the actual owner......would we ALL own it, like Green Bay? Who's in charge? Is it DC Tom dictating down to us all? Is Fergy the Capologist? Boyst runs the Scouting department? He's good with finding "talent." Can teef be our marketing person?

I was looking at Jax tickets just yesterday.......I could get in for $18 in the upper deck. I don't care HOW bad the team is, that's pretty swell for an NFL game. And I only get to one home game a year and I'll be in Buffalo for Thanksgiving anyway. I can walk to Hammer's from where I stay! Sounds like a well-spent $18 to me.

I've refused to go to any of the 4 high school reunions I've been invited to. 10th and 20th for Orchard Park and the same with the high school here. Seems so lame to potentially see people you didn't like then and aren't going to like any more years later. I stay in touch with a few HS people (one is my tax guy) and actually have made a lot of friends in Buffalo since I began traveling for business up there in 2009.

There aren't any Sullivan's here in Cincy. The media is VERY good here, and some question Marvin's coaching over the years and wonder if he'll ever win a playoff game. But there's not a drumbeat of hate against the Bengals.........Marvin has brought the team back to relevancy with his playoff appearances and pro-bowl players alone.
