I get that. You planning on tailgating before the game? I am flying out of Toronto to Seattle on the Tuesday and taking Amtrak down to Portland for 3 days and coming back to Seattle for the Friday and Saturday before the game. Flying back home after the game. Coming alone -- wife could not or would not (she is a Seahawks fan and is afraid of the Bills right now) get time off work -- so I am looking to meet some Bills fans in Seattle on Saturday Night and of course, during the pre-game Tailgate. I won't have my Tailgating equipment with me but I can cook.

That has always been my strategy and I will be doing just that when I am in Seattle for the Bills game in October. However, some have said to me that that strategy may be outdated given the rareness of paper tickets these days. Any posters here who have had experience in Seattle recently purchasing tickets for a Seahawks game at the last minute?

Do Athletes endorsements affect your purchasing?

I don't agree. Ryan Bates will never be a starting OL on a contending NFL team. Sure he is the perfect #6 swing OL due to his versatility however he is simply not good enough for the Bills who are a contending NFL team. I thought Beane had overpaid Bates on his contract and when there was an opportunity to remedy that Beane did. We should have drafted a Center in last year's draft in the 2nd or 3rd round however we have got lucky with a potential real starting NFL Center falling to the 5th round. I say start him now.

I did a search here and not much came up. Yes, it has only been two pre-season games however I don't like what I am seeing so far from our interior OL in general and specifically Connor McGovern at Center. Since I never liked the idea of taking a player with so little NFL experience at Center being move to there as the starter perhaps posters more versed in OL Center play can convince me otherwise. I appreciate Connor McGovern played Center in college however after being the starter in Center for one year, the next year he played his final year in college at Guard. Given this position handles the ball on each and every play and it protects our $250M investment in our QB, normally calls the OL play and is often the key to opening rushing lanes between the tackles, should I be concerned?

I am a Citizen myself and it balances me as a fan given I am a long suffering Bills fan. As to a comparable team in the Premier to the Bills it is difficult given there is no salary cap and so many competitions like Champions League, FA Cup, Carbaro, etc. but may I suggest West Ham.

I was sooooo unimpressed with last week's performance -- yes meaningless -- that I gave my left over Pork with Rabe Sandwich to my Great Dane Tiny this morning and now I find out it is from Philly and NOT Pittsburgh. -
I gather no one here has seen the movie?

Why limit yourself to just getting an autograph if you are willing to sell you Bills Fandom Soul?

I have a good feeling about this guy and pray his injuries are all now behind him. Could he be our new Spikes? -
Can we get two 5th round picks for our 4th round pick? Which teams have two or more 5th round draft picks this year?

So my 7 picks in the 5th strategy is not finding favour here.

I did some math using the traditional Draft Value Chart. The Bills have the following draft picks today: 4th Round — 28th pick of the round (128th overall) 5th Round — 6th(141) + 9th(144) + 25th(160) + 28th(163) 6th Round — 28th(204) 7th Round — 1st(221) If the Bills were to trade their 4th, 6th and 7th round picks, they may be able to acquire 3 more 5th round picks for a total of seven 5th round picks. The 5th round has always been Beane’s sweet spot. OK…I will resume drinking now.

The Bills have no 3rd draft picks. Two 2nd round draft picks, one 4th round pick and pretty much the entire 5th round of picks. -

If the Bills can trade the 33th pick for a 5th 5th round draft pick, then the Bills can draft 5 WRs in the 5th round and we can have an incredible Training Camp Battle to see which one of the 5 WRs is the 6th WR on this year’s roster. I am pumped!!! -
What are your draft plans? (Menu, setting, etc)

I grilled 9 lbs of chicken wings yesterday and then tossed them in 3 different hot sauces so I have plenty left over for tonight. I froze homemade dim sum dumplings a while back and may get the double bamboo steamer loaded up with a bunch of that as well. Definitely Craft IPAs as the beverage. I really do need to time an afternoon nap since I expect the Bills not to draft until after 11:00 PM and my ManCity team has a 3:00 PM game today. Debating nap strategy. -
There is just something about that Whoopie eh?

If no real #1 WR falls to us in the 1st round and the WRs available when we draft in the 2nd round are projects to ever be #1 WRs, then if we get out of the first rounds with a Centre and a 1DT, I would be a happy man.

Jeremiah has us taking a DT at 28 in his latest mock

A truly elite 1DT next to Ed Oliver would enable Oliver to take the next leap forward in his development and become the internal disruptor he was in college. If a real #1 WR does not fall to us in the 1st round, I like the idea.
