Pork is a fraction of the cost of beef up here. You convinced me. I will do a pork roast, chill it and put it through my commercial quality meat slicer. Plenty of good provolone here since like me the delis are all Italian close to me. I haven't seen rabe recently but I am sure my Italian grocer has that. DONE

Do the Pegulas Have What It Takes?
HIT BY SPIKES replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obviously the Pegulas hired the General Manager since they are the ones that pay him however it was McD who selected/chose Beane. Typically, in an organization it is the person who hired someone that makes the decision to terminate that person. It is a very legitimate question whether the Pegulas have the focus/interest/thought process to fire the guy they hired before the General Manager was hired. it is a lot harder of a decision in a people based business like professional sports than deciding where to frack next. -

I made a big batch of homemade Broccoli & Cheese Soup for an old widowed Vet named Peter that I befriended at my local Legion today and the one bowl I ate myself today has resulted in such flatulence that the paint is peeling off my bedroom walls right now. I may have put too many onions in the initial flavour base or it could have been the combination of the Draught Beer I drank at the Legion today. Wife left the bedroom and is now sleeping in the spare bedroom. Oops!!!

Yup. A couple of times when I was young. I don't like it. Very grainy and chewy. I prefer moose and my late Father shot a few of them so I ate it often as I was growing up. After he had not shot a moose in a number of years, a cousin tried to pass off horse as moose to her guests by saying it was the moose my Father shot.. We will remember. Never again. Peasant!!!
