  1. Seems after that Ravens butt kicking this group has lost its appetite. We are moving to Houston
  2. I was hoping to score some large Beef Ribs however they seem rare here because the butchers are using that bone in the Prime Rib Roasts. Can get a beef rib rack but pretty expensive given most of the weight is in the bones themselves. In any event. I have 3 very large skinless turkey breasts marinating since Wednesday in the back of the fridge and today I used a Rain Check on two large Pork Back Ribs that I rubbed Texas Stylee and pushed to the back of the fridge. Going to throw them on the smoker Sunday Morning along with some Red Hot Peppers and a few Russet Potatoes. Share the aromas with the neighbours while spending time with my 3 dogs -- Bills jerseys and scarfs on -- in the front yard watching peeps walk by the front sidewalk while blaring tunes. Any side dish ideas? What are you cooking?
  3. Yet I thought Torrence had a very good rookie season. He should have had all the confidence in the world heading into his second NFL season.
  4. He simply isn't a difference maker anymore. Oh well.
  5. Any theory as to what is happening with Torrence this year? I was excited when we drafted him reasonably early. I was impressed with his play last year as a rookie. However, he certainly has taken a step back this year when he should be improving after a year of NFL diet, weight room, video watching and coaching.
  6. Keep the dream alive!!!
  7. I still have a pair of Bills Zubaz pants from the mid 2000s but NOT the originals from the 80's. The GF at the time sewed a couple of Bills patches on them for me while we were at the stadium before 6:00 AM waiting for the Parking Lot to open. The patches were all crooked. You have to appreciate all the package space those pants offered the wearer. In any event, the funniest parody want ad I ever read was a Bills fans selling his original racing stripe stained Zubaz pants with that backstory that as a young teenager he only crapped in them because he could not get home in time after riding his 3 speed banana seat high bars bicycle as fast as he could. ********************************************* Files too large. So I need to drop them into a photo editor to resize them and I have had 6+ tall boy high alcohol IPAs so it will need to wait.
  8. I took photos. How do I post them? The Fillet was perfect. The mushrooms stuffed with crab, brushed with garlic butter and smothered with cheese on the grill are outstanding. With the Tiger Sauce and raw Sweet Onions, the Baltimore Pit Beef is outstanding!!! I even made two baked potatoes with the left over garlic butter and some Creme Fresh were fantastic. I am in Food Coma.
  9. Ohhhhh.... I am making The Tiger Sauce ==> https://amazingribs.com/tested-recipes/beef-and-bison-recipes/amped-roast-beef-cheap-baltimore-pit-beef-recipe/
  10. Scored a 5 lb Fillet Mignon at my local packers early this morning that was Ungraded and Manager's Special. It is a thing of beauty!!! Got it already in the back of the fridge under the juice of two fresh lemons, a dash or two of Bragg Liquid Soya Seasoning, No Salt Canadian Steak Spice and fresh course ground pepper I just ran through my electric spice mill (aka an old coffee bean grinder). Will give it a flip every 12 hours until Sunday Afternoon. In honour of my American Bills Brethren a bought 6 large Russet Potatoes from Idaho. I also bought a 5 lb box of White Mushrooms that I will sort to use the largest to stuff the crab with and make mushroom gravy with the rest. The Bassett Hound & Rescue came for the ride and ate a lot of Deli Ends on the ride home. Great Dane got the two biggest pieces when I got home. Everyone happy
  11. The garlic butter is used to brush the outside of the stuffed mushroom so it bakes or grills into the mushroom. I usually use very large White Button Mushrooms but since this is such a BIG game for the Bills I may use Portobello Mushrooms.
  12. That is what I am going with. Struck out this morning on acquiring a 5lb+ roast beef on sale since the sale ended yesterday. Will procure one tomorrow morning and marinate it white wine and non-salt spices and herbs for 48+ hours to throw on the rotisserie on Sunday Afternoon. What bread is used for these Pit Beef Sandwiches in Baltimore?
  13. The cookies and dessert in that link look good but I don't have a sweet tooth so I tend to only make that for special occasions when we have guests over.
  14. I could do that. Thanks. I have a membership there and never go.
  15. What the crab in the tin is what I am using. I imagine Blue Crab would be over $20.00/lb here unless I head downtown to the Asian Grocer but I would rather avoid that journey if possible. I don't respect Baltimore enough to make that effort.
