  1. Winter de facto arrives tomorrow/Thursday for me. I have 60 rose bushes, 7 kiwi vines, a 38 berry tunnel, saffron, herbs, perennials and a lot of other gardening/property maintenance obligations on my property. I have been busy winterizing and later today I will have finished for this growing season. Today the weather will be 10C in mid-morning and then start a rapid decline. Tomorrow -- American Thanksgiving -- will be a miserable snow flurry filled high of 2C. The wife heads to her island for a Monday Election on Friday so I am going to completely shut down starting Friday morning. No plans to leave the property until Monday. I am stocked up with food, IPAs, brandy, espresso beans, vodka, vermouth, firewood, etc. Planning to take up full residence in the ManCave with my pack of 3 canines and go on a seasonal mini-bender of sports watching if you will. Bruins on Friday Afternoon at 1:00 PM Bears @ Eagles at 3:00 PM College Football ManCity Udinese Cordoba Central Bills With the newish IP-TV system I put in I get 70K+ channels so there really isn't a sport (or porno) I can't get on my 7 TVs. I am going to treat those 3 days as a Spa Get-Away where I go between the TVs including the one outside next to the 9-person Jacuzzi. I pity the telemarketer who attempts to pierce my balloon of solitude.
  2. ...but it sure helps!!!
  3. I am here. In Canada, we had our Thanksgiving long ago. My annual tradition is to go a place in Burlington, Ontario that has an Annual Cajun Deep Fried Turkey Bowl each American Thanksgiving. I reserved a booth for it 2 months ago. The place is packed by 11:15 AM. All reservations. Friends meet friends here for a couple of decades. My Service Dog Basset Hound Lucy is a celebrity there. The Owner of the place comes over to greet her when she prances in and then rounds and rounds of photos are taken of Lucy with the wait staff, bartenders, customers, etc. This year Lucy has a new Lions 6X jersey that is long enough for her awkward canine body. It says LIONS at the top neck line and we bedazzled LUCY LUVS just above it. Her day begins at PetSmart at 8:00 AM for the full spa treatment. I have some buddies coming however it is Lucy and my special day together. We will watch the Packers at Lions game, eat a Cajun Turkey Dinner and head back home once the game has been decided.
  4. I am so confidant of a Bills victory tonight that I am not even going to lift a finger to put in any effort to make some kind of new meal for the game and just eat whatever leftovers are in the fridge.
  5. Pretty much a must win if the goal remains to win the division.
  6. Forget that loud jazz Screw Alligator Alcatraz Go poop stain Bills Zubaz
  7. State of the mullet Bills to kick in the gullet Cook fast like bullet
  8. NOT me. I am NOT freaking out. My mind is elsewhere.
  9. I was grade school girl shamed here no more than 4-5 weeks ago for referring to Sean McDermott as Sean McCOLLAPSY .
  10. Good point. The Falcon does have to land on the ground for the Buffalo to tramp it right? Or is this one of those Buffalo Wild Wing Buffalos that have wings?
  11. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO OUR CANADIAN BILLS BRETHREN!!!! Today is Thanksgiving in our still great country. After the wife monopolized the protein cooking for the past 5 Thanksgivings & leaving only the peasant side dishes to my under-utilized culinary talents, it is MY turn this year. I have made turkey in well over 25+ different ways in my life. Boring. We switched to capons 5+ years ago for Thanksgiving & Christmas. The problem is the ladies of this household will eat it at Thanksgiving Dinner only however the Island Princesses are too good to eat leftovers and I have capon to eat alone for the next week. NOT this year. NOT this year. STOP me if this reminds you of the Ravens Home Opener this year... Three hours ago I took out the 3 Cornish Hens that have been brining in the fridge since Tuesday. I am going to bake them in the Italian Wood Burning Oven. I just finished making the stuffing of wild rice with finally chopped garden vegetables and crumbled up crispy Canadian Bacon. They sure do look a lot like Falcons. Just sayin'. They are mean MF'ers...
  12. I believe I will actually in fact have enough for everyone to eat.
  13. AGREED!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted Friday at 09:25 AM I don't know how to resize my photo to paste it here however I have a pair of whitish vintage Buffalo Bills Zubaz Hammer Time baggy parachute pants from the 80's that I had to make into shorts because I ripped them climbing over a fence while being chased by angry bulls. Do you think there is enough white on them to fit the requested dress code for this Sunday's night game? Oh...I failed to mention that there is less white on the seat of the pants due to the crap stain I can't seem to wash out from the above mentioned incident. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will be happy to know that I burned said Zubas immediately after the game. Hazmat is almost finished with their investigation after some neighbour reported the stench from the fire.
  14. I wore those 1980's parachute cut off Zubas shorts with the crap stain.
  15. I have a new poop stain in my zubas shorts after that game.
  16. Excellent idea!!! I will do the same so that the focus is on my blue face and skin rather the crap stain on the rear of my zubas shorts. Misdirection if you will. How does one achieve that wonderful hue of blue? Will a bath in this work or do I need to paint it on?
  17. Here I am avoiding a crisis and we are talking little helmets?
  18. Sure would appreciate some advice here guys.
