I am going to give attending the game a pass to avoid catching a worse cold than I currently have (or something even much worse) by sitting in the rain or wind for this game. At over 60 years of age, I believe I am now wiser than that. i thought I would beat the traffic and take a cab from downtown Seattle to the airport early. Does anyone have any recommendations for a sports bar near the airport but not actually in the airport with its inflated pricing? I was looking at BZ's Sports Bar. Any good?

Soooooooo much damn rain right now.

The rain is coming down in sheets right now and the forecast is for the rain to stop on Tuesday. I am over 60 years old and have learned that if I want to be sick in bed for a week, the best thing to do is sit in the rain and wind to watch a game. Been there and done that as a former Buffalo Bills Season Ticket Holder. I am out. I am going to have a nice dim sum meal at 7:00 AM, check out early and head for a sports bar near the airport.

I was speaking to a few locals yesterday and they said the same. They laughed when I showed them the price of my unused Friday night ticket to Vindicktive Wings.

I am bowing out of tonight’s event. Touch of flu and a fiery hot pot for lunch has me firmly ass planted on the toilet seat for the foreseeable future.

I am staying at the low class Panama Hotel which is just north of Chinatown and south of the stadium. Going for a hot pot once the train arrives and a dim sum early tomorrow morning.

NOT my thing either however I figured the easiest way to score a single ticket for the game without paying double face was to attend Friday night’s event.

The weather looks to be wet & windy Sunday Morning and during the game. Simply miserable. I won't pay big bucks to sit out in that just to get ill for the next week.
