  1. I am about an hour or so away from the stadium and it is Thundering, Lightening and Raining in sheets of rain right now. Is that expect down there at game time as well?
  2. If it were for a 4 year deal of under $10M/yr -- SURE If it is for a 4 year deal over $10M/yr -- WAIT
  3. Terry paid $1.4B and given American tax laws can write off that over ten years. Some were wondering why he paid $1.4B when Forbes had the franchise valued at below $1B and there were no other realistic suitors -- Trump never disclosed his financials during the bidding process as required and Bon Jovi & Rogers were rightly or wrongly viewed as a threat to relocate the team against Ralph's declared estate wishes -- and it is because of this corporate welfare tax advantage that the NFL negotiated long ago.
  4. Are we giving or getting a 7th to get rid of Boettger?
  5. I appreciate we will not see any starters however I cleared my schedule for this tomorrow because Bills football is still Bills football.
  6. When I had seasons, I would just give the pre-season tickets away rather than make the 2 & 1/2 hour drive. Mercifully, the Bills only have one pre-season game this year.
  7. Nah, his bros have never had me swearing at the TV.
  8. Very nice!!! How about a little photo shopping of the 3 Edmunds Brothers' heads on the bodies of The Three Stooges with Fe'Zahn Tremaine Edmunds' face on Curley's body?
  9. For a 2024 6th round draft pick?
  10. Can you get those split jerseys with half a Bills and half a Bears jersey? Those are kool!!!
  11. So THE problem was how we used Edmunds? I watch each Bills game 3 times -- once while drinking heavily watching the game live and then twice completely sober (or almost) during the following week. I wanted to like Edmunds. What is there NOT to like? Popular with his teammates. The interesting back story with his two NFL playing bros. A tremendous physical asset. A first round Buffalo Bills draft pick that we traded up for. Crap!!! I even like his fake dreadlocks. Unfortunately, my lying eyes would not lie to me when it came to Edmunds football instincts. He would simply guess where the ball carrier was going and more often then not he was wrong. Then when he did zoom in on ball carrier he was easily nullified in the wash. Could not shed a block if it was a 25 lb block of cheddar. $18M? LOL!!! Thank you Chicago. You're my kinda town.
  12. Is the Edmunds Fan Club going with the matching bandanas again this year or neon wrist bands?
  13. You are welcome. I hope the Bears schedule does not conflict with the Bills so you can continue to watch his play in Chicago in real time.
  14. If Edmunds had simply flipped a coin every time he saw a runner coming, he would have had 25% more tackles.
  15. If Bates starts over Torrence come Opening Day, I will lose my mind.
  16. I pray this is our reality since it would do so much for our offence.
  17. OL has never been a priority to Beane and it has cost our running game (other than Josh) dearly. Some want to blame the Offensive Coordinator for our running game however what is the OC to do when our RBs are met in our backfield too often because our OL simply gets no push to open up running lanes? Then there is the issue of protecting our 1/4 Billion Dollar investment at QB. As effective as Josh has been, could you imagine if he had an above average OL in front of him to give him another 1/2 a second to scan the field or be able to hand the ball off with confidence such that the D has to drop into the box to stop an effective running game?
  18. Would be costly to trade for an above average NFL RT although I agree 100% on the need for one. What do we have as trade assets other than future draft picks? Beane has his strengths however OL personnel evaluation is not one of them. Trading Teller away is just one example. The contract he gave Bates last year seems to indicate that Beane believes Bates is a starting calibre NFL OL when clearly Bates is nothing more than a useful versatile 6th OL. I fear Beane has not planned properly for Morse’s eventual departure. I appreciate Beane drafting an OL in the 2nd round of this past draft, however Beane has placed too little emphasis on using the resources required to build an above average NFL OL to put in in front of an elite NFL QB.
  19. To me, the biggest problem area on the Bills remains the OL. RT is a question mark with Spencer Brown's injury and overall development. We filled one of the 2 OG positions with a relatively high draft pick however the other OG position is still not set. Morse is on his last legs. Bates is not a starting calibre NFL OL however he has the position flexibility to come off the bench. I appreciate Dion Dawkins is liked by most Bills fans however, he is nothing more than an average NFL LT.
  20. Why? Great Body. Very Athletic. Well liked in the locker room. The football instincts of a Pop Warner player. NO way was he worth (to the Bills) the $18M/yr the Bears paid him. What the Bills will miss is NOT preparing in advance for his eventual departure.
  21. It was worth a shot given his size however perhaps it is time to move on by drafting a LT in the first two rounds next year who can start immediately as a RT and move over to LT when it is time for Dion to move on.
  22. W-O-W!!! 25 years. In a previous life, I would have here during the first couple of years. Who was the man back then? Lord of the Gun?
  23. Alabama's 1DT Jordan Davis Wake Forest's G/C Zak Tom
  24. The Bills will trade up by trading their 1st round and 3rd round picks and then draft Alabama's 1DT Jordan Davis.
