  1. Good for the Bills. Bad for the Browns, unless Sammy Watkins is available next year in the 1st round. Yep, there is your answer.
  2. I can't wait until Johnny Love Me Some Johnny gives the Dawg Pound the double bird on the way out of the stadium.
  3. This is funny that you have a Browns thread on your site!! I feel so welcome! I am not a fan of the Manzeil pick at all and most everyone I know wanted a different QB. The Gilbert pick is OK but not sure that was a big need. We all wanted Watkins, and we passed on the elite player, again. Julio Jones 2.0. Don't talk to me about future draft picks. Being a Browns fan is always about getting picks for the future. How about taking the player NOW for once? I'm pissed. And Derek Carr is the better NFL prospect. My cousin is in the FO for the Chargers and I am not the only one who thinks that.
  4. Ugh - we went through this with Josh Gordon. Now they have a babysitter on the team assigned to him. I wonder if the Bills have a guy to help keep him on the straight and narrow. He seems like he has no support, family-wise. Yikes.
  5. OK, CGF and I will have a virtual toast of vanilla vodkas on Sundays. I have a feeling one of us is going to be dealing with Johnny Freaking Football.
  6. Common denominator - bad football teams? I don't think the Bills are bad, but you guys do! Of course, we are all the worst critics of our own teams.
  7. We have so many needs, it is hard to rank them. Any good players will be welcome in Cleveland. Regarding OSU's OL, it was a good collective group but I think it was overrated. Mewhort will be the highest drafted guy and he will go in the 3rd at the earliest. I think Hyde's biggest advantage was the defense needing to worry about Miller running too.
  8. Carlos Hyde isn't slow. OSU's OL wasn't great. He's not that big - he is 230. Trent Richardson had a really good rookie year for us. He had 1000 yards with broken ribs. Don't know what happened in Indy but he was good here. Some great trade it was for the Browns - after he left we had NO running game. The only way the trade works out for us is if we draft a stud at that 26th spot. Fewer positions make an immediate impact on a team their rookie year than a running back (and linebacker). This is why you see Rookie of the Year tend to go to these two positions - they are easiest to assimilate to from college to the NFL.
  9. We are going to go to the Winking Lizard in Cleveland for the 1st round, the 2nd and 3rd just watch from home. We have a different front office every year so it is always an adventure what the Browns are going to end up doing.
  10. So far the Browns have been reported to everything and anything with that #4 spot. I still say they will end up taking Manziel and I will need to stock up on vodka to survive this season. Again.
  11. I love both Martin and Hyde - I would love to see the Browns get both. I don't think Hyde makes it to 41 for you. Browns taking at 26!!!
  12. Unfortunately, I think the Browns will end up panicking and taking Manzeil at 4. Mark it down.
  13. OK, got it... well, he would fit right in here our WRs do the same thing! Seriously though, he is in the prime of his career so I would think if the Bills decide they are better off without him I think they could do better than moving up 4 spots in the draft. Let alone the 41st pick!! I mean, this never would have happened with Russ Brandon and Coster in Draft Day.
  14. I keep literally laughing out loud at work reading this thread. You guys/gals are hilarious. They said that he was putting together a crab legs and crawfish dinner. He thought he paid at the seafood counter and so he forgot at the cashier. Oops. Anyway, whatever happened to ramen noodles in college?

  16. Well, I can certainly see why the Bills wouldn't. But I know there are teams without a QB that would. We have the cap space too. Actually I would be thrilled. Yes, I am desperate.
  17. I think if Mack is there at 4 (although I expect the Jags to take him) Pettine will do back flips. I think they will try to work something out with all the picks we have to move back up to still get Carr later in the 1st.
  18. Coach Pettine mentioned Donnie Henderson recently, actually. He said he was a great secondary coach. He hired someone from Tampa, I believe. We don't have a good secondary outside of Haden. We'll see how Hitner pans out.
  19. As a Browns fan, I would. We need a good QB and with one, I think we could actually make the playoffs. I would give up w 1st rounders to make the playoffs. I don't think two rookies are going to get us there. Without stability at the QB position, we are just dead weight at the bottom of the AFC North. Evey other team in our division has a real QB. We just brought in Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen to go along with Brian Hoyer and some other dude. Alex Tanney, that's it. I mean.... yeah, I'd take him.
  20. LMAO with these pics! Jameis is getting killed on Twitter over the crab legs thing. First it was reported he was arrested, now Tallahassee police say he wasn't. He is a real handful for them!
  21. Why would the Bills trade Stevie Johnson? Is his contract too high? This is the second time I have seen a trade scenario with the Browns where you would trade him here. Personally I think this would be an amazing trade for Cleveland but don't get it.
  22. I want Carr over Manziel... but really want one of the elite players at 4 so hope this isn't true and they can get Carr later!
