  1. Buffalo was far more of a big play scoring offense last year. Take week 5 against the Steelers & week 6 at KC as an example. They scored 8 tds between the 2 games and the shortest td of the 8 was Knox's 14 yard, game winning catch against the Chiefs. They had tds of 14, 15, 17, 24, 24, 34, 62 & 98 yards. All, but Cook's 24 yard rushing td against the Steelers, were Allen td passes.
  2. Notice he didn't use the 2018 draft, Beane’s 1st draft in Buffalo. I mean why would he include all of Beane’s drafts years except his 1st one. Hint - probably because it doesn't fit his narrative. KC had a very poor draft that year while Buffalo had a very good one.
  3. While I have high expectations for this class, especially Kincaid & Torrence, there's virtually no chance this goes down as Beane best draft. 2018 will probably go down as Beane’s top draft of his career. First he drafts Allen(1st round- 7th overall) and Edmunds(1st round- 16th) in the 1st round. Allen has not only turned into a franchise player(At the most important position)that everyone was hoping for, but he's also turned into one of the top 2 or 3 QBs in the league. Edmunds we got 5 years of solid starting play at another really important position. Though he left for more money, we should receive a 3rd round comp pick. Add to those 2 players: Harrison Phillips(3rd round-96th) Tauron Johnson(4th round-121st) Siran Neal(5th round-154th) Wyatt Teller(5th round-166th) Ray Ray McCloud(6th round-187th).
  4. Was just going to say it reminds me of the TO signing. Bigger name signing on a team destined to fail.
  5. Looked good, no hesitation and made a few tackles.
  6. Well, at least they can say Wilson and his OL have one thing in common lol.
  7. I agree about Morris, he was pretty good last year in limited action and from the sounds of it is having a strong trading camp. I was going to say I wonder if they would think about giving Morris extended playing time in the preseason to see if they could garner up trade interest. I think he's good enough to be a #2 TE on some teams. Barring injury I don't think he's going to see the field here.
  8. RB Emanuel Wilson of the Packers has 6 carries for 111 yards & 2 tds, including an 80 yard td.
  9. Yeah, and that was with a healthy Josh Allen in 2021. The offensive line was brutal that year until Ryan Bates started playing in the 2nd Pats game in December. How bad did the offense get in 2021? Look no further than Josh, 1st 7 games 17 TDs, 3 INTs & on a 5 game streak with at least a 100 QB Rating. The last 10 games 19 TDs, 12 INTs and only 3 games where he topped a 100 QB Rating. And that was against a very easy schedule in 2021.
  10. So at that point, where the holding has gotten so bad the OC & #1 WR are going directly up to the CB and complaining, what does McDermott do? On one hand HC McDermott should probably put a stop to it, but on the other hand DC McDermott is probably loving it.
  11. I saw a tweet earlier saying both Ken Dorsey & Diggs went after Elam for being really "handsy" in today's practice.
  12. I already have NFL+ and it's showing that you can listen to the Bills vs Colts game, but not watch it.
  13. It's pieced together from a couple of interviews on the Pat Mcafee show(Dec. 8th & 15th) and a couple of press conferences. One was when he returned to Buffalo after the surgery(should be Dec. 14th, 15th time frame) and the other was in January, so I'm assuming the end of the year press conference(Not 100% on that one). There was an article I had read with quotes from his January press conference that I tried to find real quick, but couldn't find. I'll post it if I find it later on. I'm attaching his appearance on the Pat Mcafee show from December 15th because it contains most of the vital information such as: Being able to reuse the ports(Meaning no drilling was necessary) and he even says that they didn't have to grind on his knee. He knew how the recovery went so he said to the doctor I know 8 weeks in a brace & on crutches and the doctor said nope(This part I got a little wrong) 2 days in a brace and 4 on crutches. Said he was up walking the following day. Von said he had surgery on Tuesday, by Saturday he was walking around comfortably with no brace or crutches. Returned to Buffalo a week after surgery and walked comfortably up and down the steps to the plane no problem along with walking around the airport and back in Buffalo at the facilities. Saving the 7 1/2 weeks not having to wear a brace or use crutches gives him a big head start on players having their first ACL surgery(Tre), or worst yet, their 2nd surgery and having to drill new ports. That and having the experience of already coming back from an ACL tear in that knee gave him a big advantage, Imo, over Tre's ACL surgery and rehab. Below is his Interview on the Pat Mcafee show. It starts at 1:38:30. If you just want to see the question and answer about his rehab that starts at 1:40:05.
  14. True being cleared by the doctors is just the 1st step in returning and it does take time to trust the knee again. But at the same time it's his 2nd recovery from ACL surgery which will help with the mental aspect as he will know what to expect. Also I think many people are under the impression Tre's ACL surgery and Von's ACL surgery this time around are equal, they're not. All bone work done during Von's 1st ACL surgery was still in good shape, so doctors didn't have to do any of that(ie drilling through bone). That allows for a quicker recovery time and rehab to be ramped up much quicker early on. He said there was a big difference between how his knee felt early on this time around vs the 1st one. He hardly wore a brace or used crutches after this surgery and didn't need either after the 2nd day. Also he said stairs were really tough the 1st time around, where as he could go up and down stairs, unassisted and with a normal gait, within a week after this surgery. Some people think he'll be ready week 1, some have stated after the bye(Which would be on December 10th in week 14 vs KC). Barring any major setbacks, I think the team will be a bit cautious and we'll see him back in either week 5 or 6.
  15. Here's the video. The Patriot guy cracked me up. He wanted no part of watching an Allen highlight lol.
  16. LaDainian Tomlinson's Top 10 entering 2023 looks more reasonable than the NFL top 100 rankings(Though Allen should be #2).
  17. Some were asking, so here's the full top 10. I definitely agree.
  18. I think we see 2020 Allen this year and if we do Josh will be in a different area code than he's been in the last 2 years. He's got better weapons and better OL than he's had the last 2 years. If Josh doesn't have to play 4 games with a separated left shoulder he would've had a real shot at MVP that year. In the 4 games he was injured he had 4 Passing TDs & 4 INTs, in the other 12 games he had 33/6.
  19. As @julianjust mentioned, the top #4 QBs are landing in the order they finished the playoffs. Allen, Burrow, Hurts and lastly Mahomes. Allen exited the playoffs first then Burrow, then Hurts and of course Mahomes was/is the champ.
  20. And to further your point, Burrow behind Hurts & Mahomes.
  21. I agree. But......at the same time he keeps coming out on fire in his first 6-7 games and then has a late October-November slump. 3 years in a row now. 2020 & 2022 were at least in large part due to injuries, but 2021 was a combo of his poor play, Beasley's sudden decline & very poor play by the offensive line(Which didn't improve until Bates became the starter in the 2nd Pats game in December) Here's the top 6.
  22. Josh lands at #8, his highest ranking to date. Though I think he's more like #2 or #3, 8th is not bad considering his injury and struggles in the 2nd half of the year. https://twitter.com/AjayCybulski/status/1688716873989509120
