  1. I guess it's not until they reach the mighty mite division that they're taught to fight the guys on the OTHER team.
  2. It's actually a Bob DiCesare column. Interesting though, wonder if Golisano is really behind it?
  3. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=9129589 I know this is in this thread somewhere, but I caught a replay of it this weekend and E.J. was very impressive. Seems like a guy that the Bills should think long and hard about.
  4. Best joke of the Monica Lewinsky scandal: Jay Leno - Things actually got worse for President Clinton today - he was sued by famed magician David Copperfield. Copperfield claims that he invented and holds the exclusive rights to the disappearing cigar trick. Ba-dum-ba!
  5. I find the need to take in some heart-warming stories to combate all the violent and criminal ones that dominate the news. This one did the trick today, hope you enjoy it, too... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9142300/jack-hoffman-7-scores-nebraska-cornhuskers-spring-game
  6. Glad to be of service.
  7. Here's a really nice tribute from the Buffalo News' Jeff Simon. Talks a lot about Ebert's great writing. http://buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130404/CITYANDREGION/130409620
  8. Weren't drafted by the team they play on now.
  9. I believe he is working under a name with a couple of 4s in it, but the post was Crayonz inspired, so I'll accept the compliment.
  10. The similarities between the two are eerie. For example: Both Kolb and Fitz are 4-letters long. Kolb played for Arizona, Fitz lived in Arizona. Fitz's nickname is "The Amish Rifle," Kolb once bought a rifle from the Amish. Kolb killed a boar by stabbing it in the heart (true story) while Fitz bored the heart out of Bills' fans for the past 2 years. Fitz was a 7th rd pick, Kolb once threw 7 picks in one game (may or may not be true). Both men have spouses named after singing stars - Liza for Fitz, Whitney for Kolb. Fitz went to Harvard, an ivy league school, as a child, Kolb had ivy growing on his school. It is clear that Fitz=Kolb and Kolb=Fitz. Spooky...
  11. Interesting article on Woodson's plight. What age do you think is too old to give a guy a shot? Obviously, I speak of skill positions like CB, WR, etc. I understand that kickers and punters regularly play to a much older age than other positions. http://espn.go.com/b...to-stay-patient
  12. Good guards can be found in the middle to late rounds or even as UDFAs. Taking Chance (or Cooper) at 8 is a waste of a high pick. Top 10 player should be an impact player at an impact position.
  13. My youngest son is autistic. I saw this video yesterday and we watched it together. Can't express how much kids like Ethan mean to me. (Got to meet J-Mac last year, too. What a great kid.)
  14. Loved Roger. RIP - Keep the aisle seat open for me.
  15. Roy Clark playing "Malaguena" on the old Odd Couple show. How did he possibly do that without breaking a string on his Martin guitar?
  16. Here's a much higher-quality version of that video (HD has spoiled my eyes). Love the move where he leans into the crowd and is held up by a roadie while soloing. Is Dani Harrison a near-clone of George, or what?
  17. When I saw the headline "interesting tweet," I thought he was teasing the changing of his jersey number/
  18. No anger - Just can't imagine an aging vet that has had no FA suitors "joking" about being resigned to his old team and including the name of the GM. I think it was an ill-advised tweet.
  19. pffffttttt...The sound of the last of credibility being released from Nick Barnett's NFL career.
  20. If the tweet is actually from his account then it has to be legit. There's no way Nick would joke about something like that with his NFL career hanging in the balance. I don't think the Bills or any other NFL team would see the humor.
  21. I know this is from '67, but I hope no one will complain.
  22. As a Frank only who has often been called Franklin or Francis - thanks!
  23. I think that playing in the Arena League surely qualifies one as a journeyman pro.
  24. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9116035/buffalo-bills-agree-quarterback-kevin-kolb-sources It's 2 years, $13 Million (in case that update hasn't been posted yet)
